Same goes for every fruit, really. How does Crocodile transforms his clothes into sand and back again?

He doesn't wear clothes, he just masks sand into clothes, like how Doflamingo can turn strings into a perfect human copy.
*Alternative answer: Um… shut up!

This has come up before in SBS. I believe the response was basically "because it's not that kind of manga!"
There's no in-universe answer beyond "gotta keep it PG"

It is interesting how Kaido challenges Yamato's rebellion with the reality of the blood that flows within Yamato and the shallowness of humanity who will see Yamato as only an extension of Kaido’s nightmare. The suffering caused by Kaido over the past two decades will remain a too large wound within the spirits of the Samurai for them to begin considering the offspring of Kaido separate from their anger, wrath and retribution. Kaido does not believe there is place within the hearts of the Wano people for acceptance of Yamato. Such a fatal perspective speaks to the mental shackles binding Kaido’s own mind. Experiences he has endured echoes through the message he seeks to brand onto Yamato’s spirit. What happened in Kaido’s past that has led him to disengage himself from trusting others? Through Kaido’s eyes, it appears all that remains in front of him is a world to break down.
Did something happen to Kaido while a member of the Rocks Pirates? When Kaido tells Yamato that ‘life isn’t a series of simple questions with simple answers’, what exactly did he mean? How rooted were his experiences in those words? Who was Kaido in the past and what were the circumstances that potentially changed him? Considering the past Kaido endured with him being captured, imprisoned and tortured, I suspect such experiences led to developing the callous perspective he now views the world through. The heart that filters the feelings he holds toward the world slowly deteriorated through each defeat, betrayal, capture, experimentation and torture. Kaido isn’t evil by nature of his existence. But the past he lived, the experiences he endured, the pain he suffered, all those factors led Kaido to where he is now presently. I believe, upon Kaido’s defeat, the reasoning for his actions may become known to Yamato.
I also find it symbolic how the opponents currently standing against Kaido are those who unintentional consumed Devil Fruits. The power they attained isn’t something they sought but one derived through a twist of fate. A moment that now stands to shift the flow of the era down a different avenue as the actors within this stage fight for what they believe in. The shackles that once bound Yamato physically and mentally under Kaido’s shadow now shatters in the face of bonds connecting Yamato to a domain outside the blood flowing through him. Though a connection exist, Yamato is not Kaido and the path he traverses does not need to be the one governed by the conclusions of Kaido. Yamato is free. And he is not alone.
Love the Luffy/Yamato attack spread.

Oni race huh… even since Kaido is revealed to have a kanabo mace, he fits the stereotypical tropes of an oni. Horns, mean drunk, kanabo mace, hell he even resides in Onigashima!
Maybe Onigashima is the homeland of Oni race? And that's why Kaido is set to have that place become the new capital of Wano?
" So that lonely island over there in now called Onigashima~!"
- Izo. ( not Marco as many thought )

The minds of the samurais against Kaido?.
I don’t see this great anti Kaido mentality in Wano. Kaido and orichi did an American annihilation of the Indians type of thing. A situation where most of the people are killed and replaced and the ones who are left are so mentally broken and changed that they would accept anything that can give them release and a better live.
Look at samurai statue firey hair mafia prison little guy, whatever his name is, and the rest of the samurais that were in Udon, they had given up, they were just waiting to die. I never felt any hate towards Kaido coming from them. They just seemed broken and resigned and just hoping for a little release from time to time, be that food or not getting tortured.
There’s no massive hate in Wano towards Kaido. -
That could always potentially change in the aftermath of Kaido's eventual downfall. Just look what at befell the Kurozumi clan afterall, and what Kaido's done far outstrips anything Orochi's grandfather did.
Not saying that'll happen, of course, but the potential is there, short of the good guys persuading reason to eventually prevail. We also saw Brooke very briefly run into this problem when he helped those people a while back pre-timeskip; upon being freed from their oppressors, they were immediately ready to go dish out revenge in equal measure before Brooke quickly nipped things in the bud.
The cycle of revenge and hatred is not a theme or plot thread that's going to go away anytime soon. Quite the opposite imo.

There’s no massive hate in Wano towards Kaido.I agree with you in that the spirits of the majority of the Wano people were broken but I still believe the rejection for Kaido remains within their hearts. Rather than accepting Kaido out of choice, they became subservient to their fear.
The reason for the Samurai resistance and the continued support they are receiving is because they do not accept Kaido. From Kaido's point of view, such a light within the spirits of the people won't allow them to accept a child of his.
-
The citizens of Wano are too busy starving to death to be actively anti-Kaido/Orochi.
The premise and concept is suppose to mirror the typical corrupt shogun that leads their country astray/in to ruin. In those settings the ppl don't have a collective power to fight back and rarely will any of the adults step out of line.

This past week was sooooo slow, it feels like a month since 1,025 was released… (Now, two more days before spoilers arrive...)
Anyway, 1,026 is either Volume 101's last chapter (less likely) or 102's first (more likely). Will we continue on the hooftop, or change scene?
BTW, we have around 8 chapters left for this year (I'm counting 3 for October, 3 for November and 2 for December, thought the count may be off a bit since we have quite a few weeks more than that), so most of a volume. Let's see what awaits us in Volume 102.

I agree, logged on just to bitch about that. I need my fix! I have a feeling next chapter is gonna be great though. Oda is hitting a perfect pace right now with great action mixed up with important flashbacks
-
The problem with Kidd is that we know absolutley nothing about him in general and despite him playing an important role in this arc we arguably know less about him now than we did before Wano.
You could say this about literally anyone in the series. Especially Robin in Skypiea (terrible arc by the way).

Compare with the character introduction Bege recieved in WTI. We literally have not had a single line or panel devoted to Kidds backstory, motives and general character and now he is fighting Big Mom next to Law. This isnt how Oda usually does it.

I thought I was the only one who feel that way. Weird how after 4 consecutive chapters with no breaks, a week break following it feels like forever even though earlier this year we got a break or two after 2 chapters a couple times.

Mind expanding on this blasphemy?

is there no chapter this week? or are spoilers just late?

Imho Kid is going to have a major role in future arcs, switching with the one Law had until now. The magnetic guy and his comrade basically had issues with every Yonko but Teach and I can see them playing some role in his or Shanks' arc. This just isn't his Dressrosa arc, but his Punk Hazard.

@Buggy:
is there no chapter this week? or are spoilers just late?
Spoilers on Tuesdays are usually early compared to how they use to be.
It'll be here before Wed.

Spoilers are out.
Spoilers have been coming later for some time. A few months back, the earliest ones would come monday. Then it changed to tuesday morning. Now, it's late tuesday. Considering spoilers are a thing people risk their jobs to provide us, we should never expect some schedule for them. They will come out when they are available, and they won't be always available..

I want to like this chapter, but 1 of my issues with the arc as a whole is evident here. I felt like there was a cool flow with Yamato going on, then the rushing of Momo importance is handled poorly.
The comedic aspect is dope. I can't wait to see the anime handle the reactions in the dome and Momo rising in the background of a super focused Yamato, but man it's ruined for me a lil.
Feels like he made this arc so Kinemon heavy that he's rushing to bring Momo to that same respect. I've said it before, Jinbe and Shirahoshi showed great balancing of main character locals for FI arc. This arc has been the Kinemon show. If it was 50/50 for Jinbe and Shirahoshi, it's 80/20 focus for Kin/Momo in this arc. Feels like Oda used Yamato to rush the Momo importance. Then, Shinobu's ability changes his appearance (which I have no real issue with), but he can fly to Onigashima now????
Most importantly, I don't feel for Momo as I do for Kin. Luffy empowering Momo felt genuine in earlier arcs, but not here. There's no tension around it. "Momo fly up". "Okay, I will." Then he flies up. Luffy is doing his part with tough love, but Momo's lines and overall reaction has no struggle or flavor. Oda knows how to do this, he just doesn't feel it's right for this moment. Well, I don't like that decision. He's most likely keeping tension for another moment where Momo struggles, but I feel this deserved it as well.
Yelling his name on that cross is the only cool thing I can remember from him since Onigashima started. Everything else felt rushed where he's riding on the coattails of another character.
I really like this arc. Oda went into detail with oppression more than i've seen in most arcs. Where it's layered from the allocation of resources, brainwashing in school, prison system destroying the spirit etc. Just wish more of the characters would pop off the panel. Momo lost his dad. I should feel for him, just as much as I do for Kin.
The worst of this arc
5 Zoro getting lost while last seen on Komachiyo. I'm a fan of Zoro getting lost, but this was lazy and unbelievable
4 I don't like any of the Flying Six
3 Momo is lackluster
2 Felt like more could have been done for Zoro's tour of Wano
1 Supernova vs Yonko was disgusting and tacky. Oda is better than this
