RE: Chapter 1,032: Oden's Beloved Blade
The way Yamato and Brooks/Robin came just close to meeting each other leads me to wonder if this will become some sorta teasing gag in the same vein as Jimbe joining the crew, however short or long term.
oh OH Yamato's about to cross paths with ______ the Strawhat…NOPE, not yet.

RE: Chapter 1,032: Oden's Beloved Blade
Where would that person and their wings go when King transforms into his pteranodon form ? Much as I like the idea of a small unimpressive guy hiding in that large intimidating suit - very Oda - it's been done already with Trebol and Big Mom seemed to recognize him immediately as someone from a specific race.
No idea how to explain away the wings, tbh. Could be the wings belong to King proper and they morph away as expected, but the halo on his back is present in both forms. If it truly belongs to a 2nd person, could be they just continue clinging to King's back same as they do in his human form without standing out.
The way the halo just keeps visually and narratively being emphasized as residing specially on his back just seems curious. Could always end up being some strange quirk of King's race, of course. But there's quite a few odd qualities about King, and Zoro's swirling thoughts on the matter lead me to wonder.

I'm leaning more and more towards suspecting that fiery halo, maybe even those wings, belong to somebody clinging to King's back, somewhat hidden behind his bodysuit.

RE: Chapter 1,029: The Tower
Another random thought. Does anybody think, like I do, that it's strange that Killer understands the weaknesses of Hawkin's fruit better than Hawkins himself?
Hawkins seemed to be genuinely shocked when he lost his arm: but he knew very well Kidd had already lost his arm. He should have seen it coming.Honestly, with Hawkins we have reached a new and unexplored level of incompetence.
The carelessness that comes with being overconfident. One of the other symbolic meanings of the Tower does happen to be unforeseen catastrophe after all.
But that can swing both ways.

It’s not time for a party yet. Several characters, as well as Wano as a whole, have yet to reconcile their history and other issues; it’ll be a while yet before harmony is established in the Country Of..
Strawhats have yet to traverse the Tower of Wano, from the bottom up.

I don't quite follow on that because this is literally a built up event over 10 years and people expect it to culminate in a defeat? I'm just so very doubtful. In no shape or form does Wano follow any of the signs that Sabaody and Marineford fell into.
Oh, there are several, alright. What's funny is that Oda has laid them all bare even as he's lulling readers into a false sense of security. Winter's gonna be fun.

RE: Eiichiro Oda: "The story is in the final phase"
It's always possible that reaching Laugh Tale requires one to go through Lodestar. Frankly, I'm fairly sure Lodestar and Laugh Tale exist within relative proximity to each other, making it at the very least a natural stop on the path.
That's also assuming, of course, that nothing else happens that may jeopardize the Strawhats' intel, e.g. a Road poneglyph imprint getting smudged last minute, some villain absconding with one post-Wano, etc….But I'm leaning towards the former.
More than a simple pit stop, I feel Lodestar's the "platform" necessary to cross over.
