I missed FT's fights where the fighters actually used their creativity to overcome each other's abilities. The only thing I liked from the chapter is Gazel's motivation being "Love" instead of pretentious friendship bullshit. It's cheesy, but easy to understand.

So we have one whole chapter where we just build-up to Ichigo doing one attack. One chapter just for Ichigo to unleash one attack. Throw in half the pages people spouting BS to make people think there is something deep and meaningful going on, then you've got this weeks Bleach chapter.

Wasn't Ichigo's Hollow came from that Vasto Lord thing that Aizen send to fight Isshin that was killed by Ichigo's mom?
-Isshin was sealing the Hollow within Masaki
-She gave birth… the Hollow was still on Masaki
-She dies and Isshin keeps his seal but for the children
-Ichigo got stabbed by a Zampakuto filled with Shinigami power awakening more of his Reiatsu, getting the scales to be a Shinigami.
-Ichigo goes at the boundaries between Hollow and Human thanks to Urahara, becomes Shinigami xd
-Urahara teach Ichigo to summon his own Zampakuto, which awakens the Hollow power of Masaki transferred to Ichigo
-Isshin cannot control anymore those Hollow powers only in Ichigo, returns to be a Shinigami.
In the moment when Isshin cut the seal is when the Hollow powers could be a it's highest point. That's why Ichi thanked him.
The chapter was very nice, i loved the art of a crescent moon while the Getsuga and Cero were melting together, it was like finally Ichigo reached the moon after so many tries.

I remember back just before the pernida fight started, I was lamenting that watching Kenpachi and Mayuri was infinitely more interesting than ichigo and his merry bad of idiots.
That's always been a thing - Ichigo's fights always pale in comparison to some of the other fights in the series, partially because Kubo can't think of anything else but Getsuga Tenshou spam and sudden transformation.
Although Ichigo vs. Byakuya was pretty sweet.

This was the first thing I saw of any Bleach ever, and I remember thinking it looked awesome.
I love the fights during soul society arc in the anime. Combined with that awesome music, was great back then.^^
I think Bleach was one of those series that's more enjoyable in anime format, at least until it hit filler arcs.

Definitely: you actually have backgrounds and funny little omakes at the end of each episode.
And the filler arcs are a mixed bag. Zanpakutou rebellion is probably everyone's favorite, while I think Bounts are okay and Reigais are bleh.
Wonder how long Gajeel is lost. That would have been more touching if I thought there was any chance he's gone.
