I see what yall mean about the subtitles. The drunk Kaido episode was brutal without them—both the subtitles about what stage of drunk he was as well as what Otoko wrote on the balloon tribute. Uploading those subtitles would mean a good bit of manual work and watching the episodes, which I doubt they will do. This company seems lazy on the polish.

I'm guessing, I'm one of the few people that got their copy of Collection 34 on the release date. Since alot of people haven't gotten their copies.

If Dragon Ball Super is anything to go by, the disc will have been modified to swap Funimation's opening logo with Crunchyroll's, and remove the authoring credits and trailers for other releases. Seems odd that they would starts the re-issues with a stand-alone release of Gold.

The first two discs got the Season 13, Voyage 4 disc label, while discs 3 and 4 is the normal collection discs
I wonder if they caught the disc labelling error after only a small handful had shipped? That's been known to happen from other distributors, and would explain the delay.

Yeah, I order my copy of Collection 34 from Amazon. When I saw the currently unavailable like the day or 2 before the release date it made me wonder what was going on. But I got my copy of Collection 34, so it not a really big deal to me now.
Yeah, the CR overseas shipment was delayed, so they’ve got no inventory on a ton of items that were supposed to release in the past month. Mob Psycho 3 SE just yesterday shipped (5/7 release), so they’ve got some items in. But OP c34 and the OP shichibukai cat collection are two of the things held up still. They told me it’ll be in stock around 5/21 now.
I love how they still list "UNCUT AND UNEDITED" as special features on voyage the blu-rays as if thats not everything they've released for the past like. two decades.

This is so sad. Funimation used to be SO GREAT with One Piece but now that its a big hit like DBZ they decided to stop nurturing quality physical releases.
It's more or so when Toei took over when the extras pretty much disappeared. Also it didn't covid happened right when Season 10 came out.
To be fair I think they've been making less and less special features in general.
Yeah its not just One Piece, most physical releases are significantly lacking compared to the past. But they are dubbing more shows at a greater pace, so I guess that's the trade off

Toei just released a four movie pack, which includes Z, Strong World, Episodes of Alabasta and Chopper, on Fandango at Home. I’m assuming they didn’t dub the Chopper one, since there was no announcement of a new dub.
EDIT: Oh yeah, the listing says that one is in Japanese.

So bizarre how that one always gets paired up with the other despite not having a dub. Must be some weird licensing hitch with that.
It really boggles my mind that some of the older One Piece movies have still not been dubbed and released here. You'd think that'd be an instant cash win for Toei.
Maybe they're waiting for OP to be at its peak before marketing new movies? Might be good to align it with LA S2, or at least with this 25th anniversary.
Always just thinking about what’s going to make them money. They’ll want to have new releases to market while the series is most popular. They may be saving the releases for that time.
But they didn’t drop during season one. Maybe because Anthony was leaving and they were too busy with the series to tackle movies too. Idk.
Getting anxious on this new set. Just finish the arc already, then take a break!
I'm stealing this analogy from someone else in a different One Piece context, but it sort of feels like we're approaching a dub-sub event horizon, with the time between dub drops rapidly accelerating toward infinity. 
i think an interesting after effect to dubbing the rest of/older movies is that for example, you'd get a release of the first anime movie - sub wise the VAs are so young sounding because the series had only been going for a few years but on the flip side, the dub cast will sound much older than say, movie 8 because they've been dubbing OP for 15+ years
I feel like Luffy is the only one who sounds deeper, and Colleen may be able to pitch up to fix that.

Update on Collection 34 for the people who haven't gotten it. On Amazon page for Collection 34, looks like the new version of Collection 34 is coming out on September 10th.

I would assume the final Wano batch will drop before the Egghead premiere.
It's also not irregular for them to premiere episodes way ahead at cons. They did it for episode 1000 & Gear Five.

Pretty sure they've been confirmed finished. The team talks on Twitter about recording very close to (sometimes even ahead of) release. I remember Stefanie Young was talking about recording an emotion Robin scene before it even aired in Japanese. They're simuldubbing this show without releasing it as a simuldub. It's annoying.
But who knows. Maybe the promotion YouTube channel & sphere will welcome some bigger news than we're expecting.

@Zephray I think the only thing we will ever get simuldubbed is the One Piece remake anime
I got a feeling the dub going to be moving to a quarterly release after Wano is finished. Similar how the dub of Dragon Ball Super was released digitally after a certain amount of episodes of the volume aired on that aired on tv.
For me, it’s good to hear that egghead arc is licensed and planning on being dubbed. Licensing issues is what caused most of the hiatuses in the past.
You have to remember that Toei got the full control the of dub now, not Crunchyroll. It's the main reason why the dub is really close to the Japanese release now. And it's also why the series is currently airing on Toonami. Because Crunchyroll doesn't really want any of their shows airing on tv. Adult Swim have work around Crunchyroll and work with Toei to get it on tv.
