Since Garfield and gang are looking for Marco, I'm assuming that they're going to be the most likely group to meet Weevil first. I could see Luffy's group getting a call from either the Minks themselves saying that they've located Marco. Weevil attacks the Minks in the time it takes Luffy to arrive.

Well, Burgess has that dagger and a, likely, bag of fruits so he can steal it even alone, I guess. But that doesn't have to say that he will solo marco in a fair 1vs1.
Weevil could wreck marco then burgess shows up at the end.
Burgess with marco's fruit is the most likely thing for me.

WAIT. I got a chance to look at that manga link and I checked the previous few pages (Sanji was 'dry' by then), but you can see sweat drops when he's yelling at Wanze, not huge comical 'ffs this motherfucker' ones though.

It's somewhat in line with Dogstorm and Catviper, two characters that were individually almost on par with one of Kaidou's top men but within the flash back they were each handicapped just enough to let the Straw Hats eventually shine through.
Marco has been through a lot and we are now basically promised that he will return and you can bet that he will not be in Marineford shape to solo one of Kaidou's biggest and baddest. We already know why Jozu may not live up to his former glory after Aokiji caused him to lose an arm so mark my words, Marco will be in the same boat.

Saying we can get marco if he is alive and him turning out dead or dying in the mission seems pointless, I think marco makes it to the end of wano at least, but I feel like he'll help luffy beat kaido

EDIT: one thing that's bothering me, though, I thought Luffy just had some (food) poisoning he'd be able to shrug off soon. Just how potent can the poison from that fish be if nothing Caesar could do matched it?
Well for one thing, this poison was something he ate, not just inhaled. The body is good at picking and choosing what to filter through lungs, so Luffy probably actually got a much smaller total dosage of poison per unit time through inhaling Caesar's gas than he did by eating whole mouthfuls of a highly toxic skin-imbued poison.
Just think of how little potassium cyanide is necessary to kill someone by ingesting it. But when you evaporate a bottle of potassium cyanide in the air, it's such a low dosage per breath that it won't be dangerous unless it's a fucking shitton in an enclosed situation.

actually,weevil at the moment is searching for luffy rather than Marco,since ms. bakkin thinks he knows where marco is
but he actually doesn't even know the location of luffy since he left dressrosa….only thing i can think of that would make him appear soon-ish is if ms bakkin somewhat got hold of an invite to the tea party by beating some pirates (maybe some ex whitebeard allies now affiliated with big mom),and made the assumption that since sanji is going to get married and he is part of luffy's crew,that luffy is also gonna be there,thus giving him a clear destination. -

usually the next chapter starts at least on the same location where the last ended..so we should first focus on jjinbe and the crew..but i don't know if such "rule" is consistent or not,so don't quote me on that
