Yeah it's him… No matter how stupid he looks, he matches the description perfectly. And Kizaru himself stated he was strong as hell.
But beating Zwphyr witha cheap shot was nothing like the character potrayed right now

"Weevil" is probably the correct spelling, considering the animal theme of the warlords.
I've never even heard of the creature's name in English lol.
I know it only from Final Fantasy lol, didn't know it was a real animal.

What a Weevil is?
Great chapter, Zou looks awesome, i wonder how they will get there though. I don't really think that Weebles is Whitebeard's son, his mom is probably using him, he must have a pretty powerful devil fruit, and i'm really looking forward to seeing this minkmen race, Kaido must have some business with them, the next chapters will be great!
@Mr.:
It's a type of beetle.

Thanks guys
Gambia says they are in Gambia which is a state in africa lol
Obviously not WB's son but he's obviously very strong if Kizaru says so. So we didn't see what happened with Kaidou, Jack, or Big Mom's tea party… I wanna see one of those outcomes! But still an interesting chapter, finally it's the Zou arc.
We kind of saw one in 795!
I had forgotten about the moe furry chick was there . That'll do for my minkmen speculation of what they look like .
To resume this chapter
But beating Zwphyr witha cheap shot was nothing like the character potrayed right now
For all we know he could be an idiot outside but turn into a vicious beast whilst in combat. Weird he may be but I can't help but want to find out more about that 'son' of Whitebeard's.
Physically, how could whitebeard have sex with that midget?
Can someone repost the One Piece size diagram? I need a way to gauge just how big Zou is. At this point, I don't even know if I can safely say that it's bigger or smaller than, say, the Yonta Maria.

Otohime and Neptune come to mind.

But he wasn't in combat… he cried like a pussy and after it cheap shotted Zephyr

I'm guessing it's Laboon's size or bigger. Isn't Oda bad at keeping size ratios constant?
isn't that new island the thing we saw at the end of the Thriller Bark arc? You know the thing in the fog in chapter 490
But he wasn't in combat… he cried like a pussy and after it cheap shotted Zephyr
That would definitely seem to fit this Weevil.

We can assume it happened decades ago when she was of normal stature, then "shrunk" in an exaggerated OTT way when she got old. Though it's…...best not to think about.
Good advice lol.

That was on the other side of the Red Line.
Though Weeble reminds me a lot of Brownbeard can't say I love or will ever love his design. Miss Bucking definitely seems to be the driving force in that duo. I hope she's got a few tricks of her own. Neither really seem like characters that can support even a mini arc on their own. Though it's immediately set up that he's probably NOT the son of Whitebeard this twist interests me. If only because if people are saying that he absolutely cannot be then I wonder if that will confirm an idea that DF are no longer human enough to have children. And that in turn leads to if it will relate to Kinemon and Momonosuke.
Zou is certainly impressive. My first thought is could this be what was behind the mysterious eyes in the Florian Triangle at the end of Thriller Bark. That's a mystery I'd love to see solved.
And Minkmen! Finally! It's been theorized that they are a tribe of Kamaitachi but if the girl Sanji discovered is related to them it looks like Oda's going a different way. Still doesn't definitely prove what they are, or if Pekoms or Beppo are related to them, but I hope that we'll find out soon. The way Oda's been rolling out the revelations it could be earlier than we expect.
It's interesting that Kizaru seems a lot more together every time we've seen him since his somewhat cloud-cuckoolander debut. Since we were given that drawing of him as a studious child. If Kuzan seemed vaguely heroic and Akainu the angry he now seems the most neutral out of the three, but also the most amoral in regards to collateral.
Barto funny as always, but seeing him this chapter Gambia's Grams must be awesome indeed to have got them this far!
That would definitely seem to fit this Weevil.
Well not really in my eyes… But his mom.
Further more one thing is strange. A week passed already? Holy shit this means certain stuff as tea party, Kaidou/Kidd alliance already are over... And now I'm curious what happened to the Swirlystraws in the whole week.
And somehow funny... The Swirlystraws have been away for so long in real time but not in OP time... And now with 1 chapter we have a week
Otohime and Neptune come to mind.
Don't female fish lay their eggs in the open while male ones shoot sperm at it for fertilization?
Maybe Moria stole Whitebeard's shadow and gave it to that kid? His mom looks like a regular at Thriller Bark tea parties!
Otohime and Neptune come to mind.
Huumm i always thought they had they kids by ovuliparity.
Don't female fish lay their eggs in the open while male ones shoot sperm at it for fertilization?
There's an image. Fishman Island in mating season must be like dodgeball.
By extension, Otohime giving birth to Shirahoshi
As they are merfolks. Laying eggs is still quite possible. And neptune and otohime fathering children could have been done with ovuliparity. So all the egg sperm interaction not within a body.

It might be a week later from that Weevil incident, seeing as they just get the newspaper talking about Doffy's defeat.

Now we see the ship arriving at Zou with the information that a week passed… Even more with Law's statement that

Given that they have more in common with mammals and Otohime didn't seem to have a whole 'batch' of children I'd say it's been a painful delivery
Can zombies still have any sort of unique powers? Kizaru specifically says that he has powers to be feared, otherwise with his stitches he looks the part.@Zyzzz:
Maybe Moria stole Whitebeard's shadow and gave it to that kid? His mom looks like a regular at Thriller Bark tea parties!
I never once thought about the literal meaning of "zou".. Oda really outdid himself this time
Though I've gotta wonder.. Dressrosa was a lot like Alabasta, and after that we have a moving island high up with unfriendly tribespeople… cough Skypea cough
Also, I just remembered that names are always pronounced last-name-first.. I always thought that Edward was WB's first name lol.
So it seems we aren't getting any Swirly hat action, I though the focus would shift for them but it seems its going to be the othr way around, we fill follow this group till they find the others and they have been in the Island for a week now.
For some reason I'm expecting this to be a smaller transiction arc.
Whitebeard's alleged lover and son, minkmen, an island on the back of a goddamn elephant?
This is going to be a fun arc.
theory:mink men are just anthropomorphic animals in general… bepo comes from here, and that's how he had a vivre card that pointed them on the island despite it being impossible to find with logposes
Now we see the ship arriving at Zou with the information that a week passed… Even more with Law's statement that
A week passed since what? That's what's unclear with the translation, though you're probably right.

Same thoughts as you… And With Beppo being part of them the crww of Law is save
What the Weebling fuck.
theory:mink men are just anthropomorphic animals in general… bepo comes from here, and that's how he had a vivre card that pointed them on the island despite it being impossible to find with logposes
And why he is so socially awkward.
I hope Whitebeard's son gets his ass kicked.

- Otohime is a goldfish mermaid. Goldfish reproduce with ovuliparity.
Well look at that. The mystery of Otohime and Neptune has been solved (only half-serious here).
Man, there are really some uncanny resemblances between Lola and Bucking/Weevil.
Similar hair, similar hat, and Weevil has the same pigtails as Lola.
But he wasn't in combat… he cried like a pussy and after it cheap shotted Zephyr
Could be part of his battle nature too. Use his childish weakness to somehow lower their opponent's guard (hard to believe it worked with Z) only to then strike and mortally wound them. It would also feel like something his mother taught him (who by the way looks older than Zou's elephant).
WB abandoning his real life son seems OOC for him. I believe this guy might be an unwittingly trick imposter who happens to be stupidly strong.
The 1000 year old island sized elephant clearly stole the show though.
I wonder if the Rayleigh Haki training foreshadowed this?
