oh pooh. shucks that would make some great filler. I swear i saw it somewhere, maybe i be trippin?
There is a one shot of it by Oda, its called Monsters
but it's not animated

Or maybe she plugged the hole in her heart with snow. Or maybe she put herself into a hibernation.
But mostly first option.
Funny, I thought I read everything there is to read on Cracked.
Of course Oda will take that 1 in 3 chance and link cracked in the chapter

Why do people care about monet? She was a boring, child abusing villain that supported Doflamingo and has an extremely low chance of being relative to the plot. There's all ready enough happening right now.

Neat design. She has her appeal really. But fans be like OMG WE NEED A GIRL! So any female character is going to be magniscope new nakama frenzy mode III

BECAUSE MONSTER GIRLS ARE BEST GIRLS
To be honest though, I don't really know. I DO think her design was rather nice, and had nice villian qualits; but there is no way I could have ever seen her joining the crew.

Because he's so superficial when it comes to researching for his manga.

I'm not disappointed, but it's good to know that there is something we can call on to say it's not BS.
That's a fact i never knew about.
As far as revivals are concerned and I missed the notification for this.
@DHL:
Personally, I never for 1 second though Bellamy died. Sabo had hints of being alive, I don't see how that is some sort of a "revival from the dead". From a mindset standpoint maybe. In OP it's just " I thought you were dead".
The only real one I'd be majorly dissapointed in being alive would be Monet.
Just because we believe a character is dead due to our thoughts based on what's so called "implied" does not mean that a character has been revived from the dead.
Its not, "he came back from the dead", it's, " he survived? How?"
Well I never thought Bellamy had died, either. Sabo was so obviously still alive, it wasn't even funny.
But earlier in One Piece when people like Igaram, Mr. 3 and Pell seemed to be done for, it was pretty convincing. Even Pagaya. Of course, that's exactly why supposed deaths aren't that convincing now, and it's gotten to the point where you actually have to see someone draw their last breath to believe they are dead.
I know what you're saying. Yes, the characters that "died" haven't actually died so they weren't really revived. But it feels like cheating, if you understand what I mean.
Chapter is out in Manga Panda

Your last sentence: Ye I see what you mean. Oda isn't a fan of killing characters in the first place.
Oda can create a series without death and romance and still be on top.
Well, it's kinda one of those genre idiosyncrasies you just accept and brush off after a while. Similar to Dragonball "deaths" in which they are simply transported to another dimension and able to return to the world of the living when they are "allowed."
Oda also does this, though I think he's more playful about it. It's very likely he plays it like this on purpose getting the reader to second-guess whether someone is actually dead, then pulling the trigger on the very rare instance a major character actually does die. Ace & Whitebeard were the first and second, back-to-back. There will likely be another major one at some point we will never know, but Oda keeps laying the bait and playing coy.
Regarding Sabo, that was an interesting case because recall that was a flashback character, which have historically been fair game as their deaths have typically meant to be catalysts for present character actions. It was believable in the first chapter, but Oda deliberately (yet still coyly) made it obvious that he was okay the following chapter in which Dragon rescues an unnamed castaway–in which one would have to be in semi-denial to believe Sabo was truly dead after that action was lampshaded. However, that coyness still gets some people in which they don't immediately catch on.
btw, I've always wondered if Higuma from the Romance Dawn arc counts as a "flashback death."? Sure, it's technically in he past when reading the voyage from Alvida onward, but those were the first chapters in the series. Technically, the whole Straw Hat voyage is a major timeskip from the Romance Dawn arc.
It's definitely gotta be draining, which is why I think it's a display of proficiency and power but not necessarily skill. It's parallel to the similar idea in fighting where it's better to use minimal movement in attacks to conserve energy. The big stuff might be cool and powerful, but at a certain level it's better to be more minimal.
I'd be really happy if somewhere down the line full-body CoA decreases in frequency because someone in-universe points it out as being inefficient. I'd understand if Rule of Cool overruled logic though.
Alternatively, generating CoA might be more tiring than maintaining it.

Always nice when a hypothetical conversation turns out to have some pertinence.
