Some good stuff is tied for the lead. Kind of sad that time travel is so low on the list, I wanted to nominate The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. But I can nominate that for female lead month too if that wins. Realistically if time travel won we'd probably end up with all Terminator movies though.

It'd be better to do a Time Travel Month in October anyway; though, sadly, October 21st isn't on a Saturday.
-
The Bees are going to win this, aren't they?
-
My favorite of my votes is winning? And my second favorite is tied for second place? OH HAPPY DAY
-

Godzilla: Final Wars and Godzilla vs. Megalon are the films streaming tonight. Join the chat for live commentary! -
Arrgh! You showed Final Wars first?!
Well, guess it's my fault for not checking in, but still, I wish we could be more consistent about this.

You're not too late if you still wanna jump in. It started ~25 minutes ago at this point.
Although yeah, I'm sorry about the order consistency this time. The torrent used for Megalon was really slow, so it wasn't fully done when it was time for the movies to start. Gonna try to start downloading them much earlier now, especially in the case of older titles.
-
What time will Godzilla vs. Megalon start?
-
-
-
I was too late for both movies. :(
But at least I was able to see Jet Jaguar saving the earth.
-
Goddamn, this is too close, my heart can't take it ;A;
Come on people, vote for THE CAGE.
You'd get a month of this!
-
Sorry TLC but in the fight for Cage vs. Female Lead, whoever loses - I win.
-
Curses I really wanted to see Final Wars
I'm normally in bed when the showings start -
Oh the tension, it's a tie!!! Come on tie-breaker, vote for the Cage!!! Ask not what you can do for Nicolas Cage but what Nicolas Cage can do for you!!!
-
I always forget to break the tie before it closes…
Anyways, I've had "Female Lead Movie Month" in my mind to vote for since the tie started, so breaking it with that. Sorry TLC!
Nominations for that are now open.
-
Oh Nicolas Cage month, so close but so far. Next month maybe.
-
Nic cage will get it next month. I'll vote for it
Oh we can nom already? Maybe this time I'll actually be online when these films are shown
I could go obvious with Alien &Aliens but I think I'll nominate something a little less known. So many to chose from. (The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie
Whatever Happened to BabyJane? Nearly made my choice but I've settled on:Fargo - I've never seen this and keep meaning to. So now is a good chance
-
Fargo - I've never seen this and keep meaning to. So now is a good chance
A brilliant movie. One of my personal favorites.
But, since I've never seen them, I actually will nominate Alien and Aliens as a double feature.

The Coen's do good movies. Fargo and Barton Fink and Miller's crossing are all ones I haven't seen yet.
- Down to the River to Pray
I love Raising Arizona and Oh Brother Where Art thou? Oh Brother has a divine Soundtrack and I'm not religious
-
I nominate: Kill Bill Vol. 1 and Vol. 2.
-
I nominate Last Holiday.
-
I nominate Legally Blonde 1 & 2
:v
-
For the sake of being weird, I nominate Serial Mom. It's not even close to being a progressive thing, but it's amusing and campy as hell. Basically it's about a 1950s mother who decides to kill everyone that doesn't conform to her perfect suburban lifestyle.
(Protip: the lady in white shoes that she kills there is Patty Hearst)
-
Nominating the shit out of The Girl Who Leapt Through Time.
-
I nominate Cruel Intentions.
-
I nominate The Powerpuff Girls Movie
-
I nominate Coraline which I've never really gotten to before and would really like to see.
-
Tootsi- naw, I won't do that.
I'll go with The Last Unicorn just for the bonus Christopher Lee.
-

Wow dude you couldn't come up with a single choice of your own so you had to steal mine? I'll try to think of something else.
-
Million Dollar Baby

Why stop there? I was totally tempted to nominate "Sleepaway Camp" (because…that ending yo :ninja:)
But ehh, I'll go with "Alien" for something more straight forward.
EDIT:
OR just because it was sooo predictable that someone already nominated Alien: I also nominate uh…..um...."Hellraiser"
It's not gonna win but screw it. Whatever… -

Nobodyman nominated that one already as a double feature with its sequel.
-

I… I ... just really liked that film and since you didn't nominate yet...
;_____;
-
I'll nominate Paprika.
In fact I nominate it as a double feature, with the second feature being the entire anime of Paranoia Agent :ninja:

Yo, can I actually change up my nomination? I thought of a good one that isn't even so strange but actually fits the theme better and people might actually give it a chance if they haven't seen it: Ghost World.
I don't think the trailer captures its charm, but here it is.

Sure, I'll replace your other nomination with that one.
-
The world has been saved from Australian Asuka.
-
Today I learned from Pacific Rim:
Swords > Kaiju. Swords > Nukes. Analog/Nuclear > Digital. Helicopters are analog/nuclear.
Everything should be made of nuclear swords.
-
It may be true that the pen is mightier than the sword, but the sword is mightier than pretty much every other goddamn thing out there
-
Aussie-ka, Mako "Rei" Mori and Generic White Guy
ShinjiLead for OTT. -
Now I want to see giant robots fighting giant monsters using giant pens.
-
The poll is now open.
The date for the first stream will be Sunday July 5th though. Saturday is a holiday, so a few people will probably be out and about by the usual stream time.
-
Just one question, Pan's Labyrinth has a english dub/sub ?
-
-
Thanks !! I heard many good things about this movie.
-
Pan's Labyrinth is pretty much the del Toro movie.
