@desa:
IMaybe after getting trashed by a CD you feel better living in a country that isn't under their rule.
Understandable, but for the population of this town/country to be quite so heavy with those who have had major atrocities committed against them still seems suspect.
@desa:
I don't know if I will really be able sympathize with Law seeing how there's only a couple of month left for Corazon and him to bond compare to the 3 years the family took care of him.
I kinda regret Vergo too. He'll probably just appear in chapter to kick Law's ass.
Well it seem that Corazon is already trying to save his life just from hearing his true name, and it might even be that he's been trying to get kids away from Doffy the entire time. Not to mention covering up for Law when it came to his failed assassination attempt.
We know that Doffy killed Corazon, and that Vergo apparently beat Law brutally in the past. They've been the only two members of the Donquixote family that we've actually seen Law harm.
I'd really quite like it if Law did still retain some affection for other members of the family.

@Seafarer33:
I guess they are, in their own twisted way. Yet, on their first meeting Trebol and Diamante let Law fall prey to Corazon without giving so much as a warning, and seem to enjoy the sight of him getting beaten. Worse, although they do stick together and give shelter to young children, it's only to raise them as living weapons (and use them in their criminal business). Not exactly the sort of love I'd expect from a family, and definitely a behaviour that I find hard to call likeable. They do share bonds of a sort, but if I had to refer to a similar situation I'd say it doesn't quite feel the same as the sort of protective relationship Franky had to his own "family" back in Water Seven.
Well they had just outlined that they only took on the toughest kids essentially.
They certainly treat these kids as well as say Koala was treated by the Sun Pirates, and a hell of a lot better than Nami was treated by the Arlong pirates.
It's certainly gotten to a point where once they're inducted into the crew formally, they really are under Doffy's protection, at least judging by when he saved Law and Baby 5 in the last chapter.
@Seafarer33:
Nevertheless, I think they're awesome as characters and by far the best-developped antagonists we've met so far (it's those shades of grey that make me like Oda's work, after all). But judging by what we've seen, I wouldn't call Law unreasonable if he also held a grudge towards others in the crew.
As far as we know, the only ones in the Donquixote crew to have ever done Law wrong are Doffy, Vergo and Cora. Until we see more, I'd find it pretty unreasonable for Law to target the rest of them, and so far he's done the opposite.
