Here, I made a friendlier version (since I too didn't notice at first)
btw, are MangaStream's scans the the same quality as of PowerManga or less/more?

Big Mom's ship is way bigger than the Sunny.
Fair enough, so maybe one of these ships is CP0's one that left Dressrosa?
Also, this map confuses me slightly, if all of DR is surrounded by this cliff rock how the Green Bit bridge works?
I know this is slightly offtopic but Dolflamingo's announcement slightly reminds me of the opening to the Wii game, Madworld . The whole kill or be killed aspect, how its a "game" and minus the hired thugs and threat of a virus killing the citizens.
Among the warriors freed from Toys that participated in Colosseum tournament, I think Cavendish, Don Chinjao and Hajrudin could be the most reliable allies in bringing down Doflamingo right now. (Maybe we'll see yet another King Punch from Elizabello II)
Some other particiapants right now, to me, doesn't seem very trust-worty: namely Dagama, Funk Bros, Abdullah and Jeet
The way he yelled at Rebecca when she grabbed him and his stoicism in the presence of Robin are suspicious. Maybe he is from the floating jacket.
Okay, could you please explain to me the floating jacket ?
So half way into the chapter i was all "awesome, a villain who doesn't fuck around".
And then Doflamingo makes some bullshit game.
mind blown.

Doflamingo is making me appreciate Sir Crocodile more and more.
To be fair, Crocodile never had to deal with Admirals and Revolutionaries.
Still, you're looking too much into a random detail.
Are you going to say Franky came out of the closet with his "out" rainbow shirt?
Yes I seen something and corrected you(with me being right what is on picture) so as I reply have to get that I am looking too much into detail instead "oh you are right, my bad"
Its just a detail I wanted to point out, not that it means anything

Oh, you are right, my bad.
Still a random detail as Sanji's leg shouldn't be broken anymore (not to mention how irrelevant the wound ended up being anyway).
Doflamingo is making me appreciate Sir Crocodile more and more.
Doflamingo did find Crocodile interesting otherwise he wouldn't be asking repeatedly "join me" only towards him and no one else. I think because Crocodile's goal is completely on a different scale than most others, and that's to locate Pluto.
Oh, you are right, my bad.

Of course I dont mean its broken- med cross on his leg was just a detail that I wanted to point out. That crack was probably just hint toward danger that Vergo was to Sanji as later on Sanji had 0 problems running for almost whole arc and he was even kicking G5 marines with right leg out of Shinokuni range if I remember correctly.
That thing on Sanjis shorts holds no weight to plot or anything but I took it as worth mentioning. Just a detail that Oda drawn on leg - for person like me to point out to somebody, nothing more.
Funny that even on color spread Sanji gets shorter end of the stick so to say being mocked and all.. at least we seen him here.
Sunny team has pretty long way to go as it seems. I would bet that there is no escaping from that Big Moms singing ship with Coup De Burts. It suprised Strawhats bu just poping out in mid point of conversation through Den Den Mushi so I expect some trick to it, especially as that ship is singing- there must be plenty more wrong with it.
I like how Sky Walk feels like pretty special thing as only a handful of people can do it from what we seen. It would help Luffy/Kyros/Law to get into castle in moments but now they have to run.
Maybe Sanji will try to damage ship itself and then try to escape from Big Moms crew- he has blue walk and quite a lot of firepower in his legs so doing some holes in ships bottom sounds possible(if it only would not sing..). I think that Sanji might be shown fighting Pekoms or Tamago(more probably Pekoms) if one of them knows Geppou-like move and tries to go directly agains Sunny and Crew.
Also Law was sure that if Cesar gets to Zou he will be safe so there must be special thing about Zou- beside Laws crew waiting, maybe he also has some allies waiting as well or maybe its one of main islands of Shanks for example-Law made some kind of deal with his as it was said many times that either you work with one of Emperors or you challenge all of them. I expect Law kind of secured himself with some short term deal with one of emperors or maybe that theory that Razh had quite some time ago is more accurate, but I would rather ask Razh if anybodys curious.
Now Oda draws details of the main story in the color spread…

Baseless assumption, Crocodile's plan is still a secret, no one besides Robin, Vivi's dad and may be high ranking marines (admirals and above) knows what Crocodile was really after, Doflamingo plan is pretty similar to Crocodiles (stage 1)

Pff still going at me. Thought you had enough As I wrote before "that thing on Sanjis shorts holds no weight to plot or anything but I took it as worth mentioning. Just a detail that Oda drawn on leg" but seems you reply to me just for sake of replying to me. I feel honored Though read what I wrote before you pick on it.
I also have a question by the way, in the panel right after Doffy haki punched Luffy in the face we see Luffy with his hand in his face and the translation I read said "works", is this a bad translationand if not, what does it mean because I don't understand.
He says 効く which means
1: to be effective; to show effect;
2: to do its work; to carry out its function well;
3: to be possible to use
So I'd say it means that Doffla attack was effective on his rubber body because he used haki. Simple as that.
Now Oda draws details of the main story in the color spread…
Elaborate? I feel like I missed something here.
Anyone else just a little bothered by Oda's inconsistencies with some of the character's body shapes? What I mean is, in this colour spread, Usopp and Zoro are very scrawny, but we know that Zoro has always been muscular if not more so since the time skip and Usopp since the TS too. It's not anything new with Zoro as Oda has been going back and forth with him for years, the colour spread just reminded me of this. I guess I can give a pass for Usopp since Oda is probably used to drawing him like he was pe-TS. It's not a big deal, just a consistency concern and I can be nitpicky sometimes.

Also after the last chapter, I remember saying something about how string clone was unrealistic and seemed impossible to me. I admit I was wrong and shouldn't have been quick to dismiss the idea. My main reason for doing so was b/c the decapitated head talked, idk if I like that the clone can talk... it doesn't seem to make sense to me. I guess I need to stop thinking of these strings as the ones you'd find in your mother's sewing kit.
@Miss:

He seems to make fun over, give some irony flavour on what I wrote while I pointed out that detail on Sanjis leg is just a detail on Sanjis leg, nothing connected to story.

It's still unrealistic. That is until Oda elaborates on Dofla's ability more.
Anyway, seeing all those strings coming out of clone's neck, made me think of cloud storage, lol.

Okay, could you please explain to me the floating jacket ?
You know… he is from the service road...
i assume that franky is captured by that VA (bastille if im spelling it right?) im surprised that he wasnt shown in the chapter, but i guess he took quit a beating from dellinger machvise and senor pink so it will take sometime for him to regain power.
if DD will name the entire SH crew in his death game what will happen to franky? is he still at the hands of the executives or at the hands of the navy?
Franky should be restrained already.
Franky should be restrained already.
Yes but by who? the DD family? or the navy? I remember there was a scene that shows both the executives and the navy around him.
So if the DD family got him than hes in real trouble now.
I think he'll be fine. There's an offchance that he waited for a good opportunity to get away from them.
He can always use the emergency Coup de Boo.

He was still not moving when the island was in chaos, so I guess he wasn't in condition to escape.
Not to mention that the Marines are still at the Toy House.

The island was in chaos but Franky's location wasn't that much. The guys that beat him up were all still there. Franky is a durable man and judging from his surrondings, he didn't get to really go all out. Which might mean he hasn't used up his coke reserves.
Anyway, seeing how Dofla probably plans on killing the marines too, Dofla's crew and admirals might suddenly become enemies and Franky could be left off the hook.

I just remembered that the plateau where the Toy House was sunk into the ground.
So Franky is stuck down there (assuming he is still down).

i got a feeling that Sanji, Nami, Brooks, Chopper, Franky, and Usopp is out of the way for liberating Dressrosa. No way can Sanji defend against BIG MOM pirates. Franky and Usopp are brunt to a crisp. Only Robin, Zoro and Luffy seems to be doing fine.
Here, I made a friendlier version (since I too didn't notice at first)
Big Mom's ship is way bigger than the Sunny.
Okay, it took me a while to pick up on these things but here it is:
<>
First, we have Issho requesting to bring 3 Battleships to Dressrosa: (ch. 705)
! Last panel
Second, we see that there is a Battleship at Dressrosa (ch 710 and 724)
!
! *******************************************************************
!
So to add up (or subtract the second from the first), we get the result of:
!
i.e. those are the 2 other battleships of the marines Fuji requested, or at least this looks to me like the most logical thing that these ships could be.
Any thoughts?
I forgot about the warships, you may be right about that.
There is only one thing that is wrong in this picture: Scale. Oda sure dosent make it easy for us to see the scale of things in that panel, I mean half the strings look like a giant can pass through if you consider this ships to be battleships.
About scale, maybe ch. 700 & 701 can help a little:
!
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
and I think that the gaps that seem so big between the strings is because Oda wants to properly Illustrate that it's a string cage because if he would have done the proper gaps it would be barely seen as one. That or as you can see at the bottom part of the cage there are more strings to illustrate that the gaps are narrow and most likely that the idea is from afar it is hard to see all the strings of the cage.
Its obvious that the strings are not realy far from eachother, Im just saying that in such a big scale drawing that ships dont feel like battleships to me. If those two dots are indeed ships (and i do think its ships) they are not that big. Or again maybe they are battleships and the scale just put me off.

If scale was used correctly, we wouldn't be able to see anything.
EDIT: Never mind.

Some strings are invisible from distance Scale is Odas problem from time to time(Fishman Island had some examples of it for me). But its nothing compared to how very decent rest is.
Warships would not change much.. maybe it would change something if some strong Vice Admiral came to Dressrosa.
Oda still has Maynard to show to us and I hope he will trash and capture somebody from known names.
If scale was used correctly, we wouldn't be able to see anything.
True, that as well.

But still I don't really know what Oda plans to do with these ships in this situation. At best i can think of clearing wounded / captured high rank pirates but who knows.
Also, in the chapter it was said that the marines can't contact HQ, but maybe they can contact those ships… (and maybe the bad signal to HQ might not be related to the Birdcage itself...)
Do they have to play a role right now? They obviously wont until the game is finished and Mingo is beaten. It's not like Oda would repeat the scene from PH, where they had to wait a day or so.
That's how it would look like if Oda would draw the strings being 5cm apart over a diameter of multiple miles.

Well its sea battle and not VS on solid ground. Sanji can hold them off most probably given his abilities and Sunny potential. Nami with her weather tricks is also there.
I was rereading some of One Piece and I can surely say that Big Mom is not on the ship that is after Sunny
Tamago hinted at fact that they need 3 days to go with the ship to tea party. I expect that it takes place on Big Moms island where she resides. Since they meet up with strawhats on FI it has been 2 days now its third day ongoing.
So after Mingo is defeated, newspaper on tea party - day after action that we read now - will be describing fall of Doflamingo to Strawhats and if I would be to try and predict- Pekoms and Tamago will fail to steal Cesar and also fail at sinking Sunny. Big Mom should be really pissed of at that party and after box from FI treasure will blow up to her face it might be moment she will move out into New World after Strawhats. While they will be heading to Zou or already to Wano or some totally unexpected place.

I'm curious if the Lola being Big Mom's daughter theory will come into play soon. It definitely won't stop Luffy from kicking her ass eventually but, it might possibly buy them some time or a temporary ally in this arc.
That's how it would look like if Oda would draw the strings being 5cm apart over a diameter of multiple miles.

It reminds me of the Raigo. And also that the population of Dressrosa is now leaving in a completely different country. And who will take care of the birdcage. The strawhat's adventures never caused such arm to the local population. All this mess for Law's vengence.

Don't say that, I'd be on top of anyone, but like I said before you look too deep into stuff and write long ass posts when somebody tries to correct you on something

Which again brings the question "Is Luffy right in what he is doing?" Well maybe not in the terms of our real world laws, but look at it this way: becouse of the SH Sugar's curse was lifted, so it has some pros and cons to it.

She probably isn't, just look like those 2 stoogers from Fishmen Island are on that ship. Their bounty is well over 300 million which i don't believe Sanji is at that level yet. The 2 stoogers also appear to be part of the main core group considering BIG MOM hasn't eaten them yet and relies on them to deliver candy which she is obsessed about. She also doesn't seem like the person to care about names but she knows them pretty well. So the most likely situation here is that they will suceed in taking Caesar since he is in debt to BIG MOM. Besides what will happen to Caesar now if Doflamingo can no longer use him? Maybe this will actually trigger a war against the two emperors in fight over Ceaser.

Oh don't worry, I'm glad that the strawhats came. Doffy is a crazy bastard who needs to be overthrown, every thing is his fault. But wow! The country is done. It's like Angel Island destruction but 30 chapters before the climax of the arc.
To much seastone. DD has more seastone then all of it used in the story before this arch. Sounds like has more then WG.

My guess is that it's the same deal now with seastone in the new world like it was with devil fruits when the grand line started. But i agree with you, way too much seastone here.

I think that Pekoms should be in Sanjis league. Sanji might be stronger than him. As for Tamago I dont think so as he seems to be kind of bigger name somehow and we didnt gotten his bounty. If it was hidden I would expect it to be fairly bigger than Pekoms. If Pekoms would get some damage in fight with Sanji likes of Vergo and Doflamingo seats would stay relevant for far longer time during New World.
