Discounting Fujitora for a second, how would taking out Doflamingo and still having SHs looking around town be a bad plan, or have a chance of failure? Doflamingo could just as easily be used as some nice bait for Law and Luffy to take advantage of.

i think that the reverie arc will coincide with the kaidou's arc,since caribou and what he knows about shirahoshi are traveling towards kaido at this moment.And with the smiles gone,an ancestral weapon might be the next goal for kaidou,but it's either go against the WG attacking the reverie,or go against big mom by attacking fishman island

- Doflamingo is a stepping stone to Kaido. Killing him like that can show adding on the Vergo/Monet that people do die in the New World and isn't like the first half.

Zoro is just so good at getting lost that even an entire conscious castle lost him even though he is still inside of it. It's not that Zoro can't find Pica, but Pica can't find him, lol.

I'm not sure if Kaidou was Law's ultimate plan or not. Sanji and Nami are two of the smartest most perceptive strawhats along with Robin. They both seemed to notice that Law was behaving fishy in regards to the plan. So I would take their insight over any lying or comments law does. So I really do believe Law is more concerned with Revenge than Kaidou.
But I don't think he cares about the killing deed personally and would be fine with Kaidou doing it.
Now if Doflamingo is alive, sure kaidou would hate Law and the Strawhats for what they all did. But Kaidou would probably have his eyes immediatly set on Doflamingo. Thus if Law does have more to his plan, they can work on that while Kaidou's eyes are elsewhere taking care of Doflamingo. It's basically a stall tactic to keep Doflamingo alive. Keep Kaidou eye's on Doflamingo while the strawhats/law start implementing stage 2 of their plan.
If Doflamingo is dead, then Kaidou eyes go straight to them or 100% directed at them, whereas before at most 50%. This could prevent them Law from doing what he planned next. Again if he has more to his plan.

It makes perfect sense to bring out the Yonko out of their territory. And at this point, the person Kaido is going to go after first is Doflamingo instead of Law. I got a sense that vegapunk isn't a bad guy, instead he's a good person at heart that had his freedom taken from him by the world government somehow so he is working for them. Kuma directly asked Vegapunk to program him to protect the Strawhat's ship until they returned which he did. On a snow island where Franky was sent to upgrade, the people there loved Vegapunk.

I don't think this is a favor, but they're probably aiming for the same thing, I don't remember If this was stated in the manga or I'm just making it up but the only reason Vegapunk works for the WG is because they have the funds that he needs in order to create new toys and research the world, so I would assume that Vegapunk has a first row seat in the revolutionary's show.

Dragon is the only D. we have seen so far who isn't always smiling like all other D's. He always has a serious look in his face. Given the fact, that his identity was unknown to majority of the world, I think he is smart enough to stay low (despite being a D. We all know how much of attention they get because of their actions no matter where they go). So may be he joined marine under a different alias or was special officer like senotmaru. Since being a bodyguard to Vegapunk would explain how akainu addresses luffy and his relation to vegapunk as someone mentioned here above.
Why do people still think that Dofla is a puppeteer ? His power has already been explained, he has spider powers. Some spiders can control insects by cutting their antennas to bring them in some nest where they'll feed baby spiders with their fully alive body… Some parasites also take control of the brain of animals to change their behavior to their advantage. Doflas power is a mix of that but it has nothing to do with puppets.
