Yeah Franky is no weakling, but I don't see him fighting someone as experienced as Bastille without his Shogun.

Yeah that was my impression as well.
I doubt Maynard is (much) weaker than the other VA's, he just lacks experience compared to seniors like Onigumo and Bastille. Rushing into the colosseum unprepared was a dumb rookie mistake, not even speaking of him underestimating a DF user.Compare that to Momonga. He knew exactly how to handle Hancock, even if it looked a little degrading. He got the job done like a professional, unlike Smoker & Maynard who resort to violence the moment something goes wrong, against opponents where victory is… "uncertain".

Fuji can let Luffy fight Doffy, but he will not let Luffy escape only because he got rid of a tyrant.

On the other hand he seems to be little more by-the-book-kind of guy than Aokiji, so there might be a small chance he tries to capture Luffy anyway. Marines are anything but two extremes you know. Honestly I wouldn't mind at all to give him little stricter sense of justice than Aokiji. Just so that he won't be merely more diligent version of him.

I am sure that Fuji is not the type of guy who forget to pay his debt. But Luffy did not save his life, it was only a game at the casino. Fuji is still wet behind the ears. I am sure Aka will agree with him in Doffy's case. But letting Luffy escape is the last thing to do when your boss is Akainu. Of course, if Luffy manages to leave Dressrosa, Fuji would rather stay behind to take care of the population. But until Luffy leaves, he is the public enemy n°2 (ex aequo with Doffy).

They seemed to be giving each other damage. All 3 had battle scars before he took the hit from the missiles. Paramecias are nice but they always have an achilles heel. Noro noro = mirros, awa awa = water, luffy = sharp things….etc. There's only several hax paramecia devil fruits (law, barto...etc). The point I'm making is, once Franky finds the achilles heel of the swim swim fruit, he'll win.

If Franky has to go all out against Bastille, with his strongest cola-exhausting weaponry, I could definitely see him take out Vise in the crossfire. I mean they are already struggling from what, a pre time-skip attack and his rocket launcher? Bastille is the only real threat around.
But anyway, the specifics don't really matter. It's clear to me that Oda decided to give Franky a good arc, especially after his conversation with Luffy. Be it Bastille, Pica or another pair of lower ranking officers teaming up on him - Franky will deal with everything Oda decides to throw at him and it will be glorious.

it would be so epic if we see Monster Trio teaching other SH's the basics of haki. imagine zoro and sanji training the weakling trio. I mean all of the Straw hats must atleast learn the basics of haki sooner or later.

Well it will not be much of a fight really. Vergo probably broken Laws arms and legs as punishment for what Law was trying to do behind "adults" backs. I predict that Law already had his DevilFruit(same as Vergo :p ) yet Law still was unable to even put a scratch on Vergos body.
