@TheGreatestSwordsman:
You mean the definition of badly written plot armor, than yes. There was no reason for him to stop attacking after his attempt and sleep other than to make a silly way of her winning. I still seriously doubt she could even beat half the named characters left, there's only so much you can do standing at the edge of a ring waiting for a counter throw.
The main reason people don't exactly seem to be fans of her is that she is in a gladiator tournament where people fight one another and she doesn't want to hit anybody. I will say this chapter made me like her a little bit. Even though it was pathetic for her to stand behind Barto, it was a smart and hilarious move.
can that really be considered plot armor considering the whole thing not only got an explaation but was told in flashback? also Ummmm we dont know everything about hakuba so until we do i wouldnt call it plot armor just yet…. Much like how kuro couldn't see who he hit Hakuba is the personification of a sleeping man... for all we know he doesnt even know who he's attacking and just doing it blindly..... after all whirlwinds just move in random directions.
Also i should point out that she was knocked down afterwards and stood up because the swipe only hit her helmet.... I even if he was conscious he may have just assumed she was Down for the count.... you didnt see him attacking other champs twice did you? why would she be special?

Still, he beat her while holding and eating a bento, using only his legs. Maybe if she had a killing intent, she would have made him use at least one arm. Maybe even make him defend with all of his limbs. Miles away.
Well his original point still stands, Buggy would survive that ring longer. If Hakuba used Haki while slashing madly, though, then it would be a different story.
you know luffy being the broken main character he is, beating a her by being faster than rebecca doesnt mean that she is weak. it just means that luffy is really strong. Buggy wouldnt last for shit here. Rebecca is moving off how resolute she is. she was trained in counter fighting.

@Shadowgreed:
Are you calling Usopp a weakling?
ummm yes? he's a weakling espically compared to the powerhouses in the OP world…. but its ok because thats nt his strong suit... he's a distanced fighter much like the woman in my thumbnail. Its about skillsets...
Luffy, Zoro, Sanj iare powerhouses
Usopp is physically weak but he makes up for it in durability, tact, and skill with ranged weapons.

@Nightwing:
Good post, well said.
But, one thing. Zoro and Sanji are always roughly shown to have the same amount of strength.
I'd actually say Sanji is the weakest of the monster trio… with luffy and Zoro tieing for first

@Razh:
It's not that she's weak, it's that she's completely out of place in this round, since others are way stronger than her. Barto, she could maybe beat, since we didn't actually see how he fights. Also, both of them had most of their opponents in their rounds cleared up by someone else, so there's that.
I can't figure out what her purpose in this round is.
We'll see what oda does about that
EDIT:
MOTHER OF GOD THAT WAS 8 REPLIES -_- i have to check back every half hour if i dont want that happening again.
sorry for the extended post but please understand my point. Rebecca is skilled she may not be the strongest but thats no reason to mock her… by that logic Bart (who did nothing but hide behind a shield the entire time) can be considered just as weak (but crazy too)
