Fujitora aint pulling down comets, he is levitating huge bolders of rock and then keeping them above him at all times and pulling them down when needed.
Chapter 734: "Rommel's Whirlwind"

I hope we get more Bellamy next chapter.

…riiiight.
A guy equating Crocodile and Lucci with Yonko Commanders and then topping it off with a Zoro-Isshou comparison is questioning whether to take me seriously or not.
...riiight.
I don't think I'll lose any sleep over your big decision.
You think that Crocodile is weaker than all of WB commanders? Even though he was pictured by Oda against Akainu in line with rest of them?
Lucci for you is also weaker than weakest of WB commanders that even didnt gotten screen time for real? You didnt lost sleep but you lost a minute to respond- still a loss :ninja:
-
No shit man, ones only the second-in-command of a pirate crew which isn't even Yonkou level yet, while the other is a f*****g admiral. Of course he wouldn't be able to beat Fujitora. Even down the track he'd still have a hard time, admiral are supposed to be the strongest military force for the World Government in the One Piece world so obviously he could wreck havoc. And I have no doubt that Fujitora alone could take down the whole Straw Hat Crew
pre-timeskip yes. but post-timeskip? lol luffy+zoro+sanji is enough to take down an admiral im pretty sure of that
-
@The:
I still think Fujitora is the strongest Admiral, simply in destructive power, though I guess we haven't seen enough of Akainu yet. Sure… Akainu can turn to magma, and do large scale magma attacks, but Fujitora can pull fking shit from space, and cause them to crash into the Earth going thousands of miles per hour (if not more). I still want to see Green Bull though.
Remember when we first met Aokiji, he froze the sea just with his touch. I'm pretty sure that Akainu has similar capabilites with magma. I consider the best admiral with fighting abilites Kizaru, his pikapika fruit make him a lightspeed brawler.
-
Fujitora aint pulling down comets, he is levitating huge bolders of rock and then keeping them above him at all times and pulling them down when needed.
lol are you suggesting he has unlimited supply of rocks? thats kinda funny
-
pre-timeskip yes. but post-timeskip? lol luffy+zoro+sanji is enough to take down an admiral im pretty sure of that
They would still get wrecked.

maybe yes. maybe not

Some excellently flawed logic right there.
Crocodile and Lucci were major antagonists at the time, just because they got more panel time than some of the WB commanders doesn't make them equal with them lol.
By that logic, Don Krieg and Kuro are both as strong as WB commanders too lol.
-
maybe yes. maybe not
If they can't dispose of Vice Admirals with ease then touching an Admiral is a dream. They are the strongest fighters in the series alongside the Yonko for a reason.
It is hilarious how massively downplayed the Admirals are.
-
I hope we get more Bellamy next chapter.
I hope not. Bellamy should become a fodder character
maybe yes. maybe not
Please they would get wrecked. Thats saying that the monster trio could take on a Yonkou as admirals are somewhat on a level near the Yonkou, and its clearly not the case.
-
Well, let us put it like this: if the answer is comets and asteroids, they seemingly need to be within a certain range so they can be pulled down in a timely fashion, or, Fujitora prepares by levitating huge bolders of rock above him in a good range. By pulling them down he also utlizes the planets gravity to get more energy into the crash.
When Fujitora was introduced, we only saw the pulling power, that is why everone assumed asteroids/comets. A few chapters later when he levitated the ship seemingly like it was nothing and later levitating himself. That gives us the possibility that my suggestion is viable, and I do find it more true since It does not depend on random factors.
-
It's all empty talk until we see an actual fight with the admiral. Admiral isn't a level of power, they are individuals with their own strengths and weaknesses.

im pretty sure they can take down a vice admiral in 1 on 1. we just need to wait for that match to happen. so far the only vice admiral weve seen SH have encountered is smoker. and luffy is confident that he can wipe the floor now with smoker. as for bastille in dresrosa, remember he was about to join the battle and stop kinemon+zoro but fuji stepped in? that only means one thing, fuji knows bastille is no match against zoro.
-
16 characters of thank you.
16 characters of you are wrong.
We've seen admirals fight during the war. They could all each individually fight with Whitebeard, who was the strongest man alive at the point in time and hold their own. Not only that but when Blackbeard wanted to get a warship in exchange for Bonney, and realised that Akainu was on the ship, he ran away? It's all speculation but clearly the admirals are extremely powerful in their own right, and I just cannot fathom that Luffy, Zoro and Sanji could take one out, when each admiral could hold their own against Whitebeard.Down the track, yes, but definitely not right now.

This is not why everyone assumed that they were meteors.First Fujitora doesn't seem to have his ability active all the time and second the things LOOK exactly the same with real meteors. Why should they be huge rocks or whatever?
Him being able to pull meteors from space just speaks a lot about his power.

One Piece in particular does a fantastic job of leaving it ambiguous.
There will probably never be a point where people aren't debating about how battle proficient characters like Crocodile are.
Don't know if people here already debated about it, but I realize with a friend that that is a chance that Croc was once a woman.
-
Other supernovas were just as weak as Luffy and they survived fine. If Luffy entered new world 2 years ago he would have likely die, but not because he's too weak to survive, but rather because he's too stupid to avoid fights with guys much stronger than him.
good point.
One thing I do not get. People think Luffy Zoro etc arent ready to fight admirals after their 2 years of training?
Well could be however, what are you expecting another 2 years of training arc, or that they will go from vice admiral level to admiral in a matter of weeks?I personally believe Zoro and Luffy are able to fight against an admiral as it is, perhaps not win, but definitely do well in a fight against them.
-

I have the weirdest Dejavu right now.
Onemanga?

-
I fully agree that he is able to pull down asteroids, but the number of comets close by is limited and the time they will arrive where he wants them to be will vary in time. I just don't like that scenario, to random. I find the solution of having ammo up there at always the same distance a lot more logical and gives him the ability to plan his attacks.
Both scenarios are within the scope of his ability, given the info Oda has given us.

I'm gonna laugh so hard if rebecca joins SHs.
She'll be the most and only hated SH.
a bit sad really. -

Since the Marine Admirals can hold their own against a Yonkou, are you saying that Luffy and Zoro are ready to fight a Yonkou? Because they are clearly not ready, needing an alliance and only having a 30% chance to defeat Kaidou even though they are in an alliance. It just goes against logic to think that Luffy and Zoro could be capable against fighting an admiral and to "do well" as you put it, but its been stated that Luffy wouldn't have a chance against a Yonkou currently, and most likely will have great difficulty in defeating in Doflamingo. So if Luffy will have a hard time defeating Doflamingo (who by the way I think is definitely below Admiral level), how the hell would they be able to compete with an admiral?
You tell me.
-

She'll be the most and only hated SH.
a bit sad really. She will have had more fight scenes that Nami+Robin combined by the time this arc is over. That alone makes her ineligible.
-
Luffy hasn't had a hard battle yet, neither Zoro. But for some reason you guys know where their limit exactly is.
-

Nah, but we know they aren't Admiral level yet 100% x 100000000%.
-
When Luffy defeat a yonkou, it'll be around 3 or 4 year before One Piece ends. He will round up all 4 yonkou and finish them all in one arc.

Crocodile fought and came out unscathed with Doflamingo. Doflamingo dominated Atmos and stopped Jozu. In this way, we can assume Crocodile is at least as strong as some of WB's commanders.
Lucci is the only person to physically beat Luffy into submission. Luffy being someone who physically beat Crocodile, makes one assume that Lucci is at least equals Crocodile in strength. Using the above argument about Crocodile we can assume Lucci is at least as strong as some of WB's commanders. This is further evident when the vice-admirals acknowledged Lucci's strength during the buster call.

seems like doffy doesnt know how to use armor haki yet when he fought croc. coz if he have had it, croc would have end up the same fate as smoker in PH. same goes to ace. ace doesnt know how to use haki at that time thats why luffy is definitely stronger than ace from 2 yrs ago means hes as strong as wb top commanders or even stronger than them.
-
you guys are seriously understimating M3.
Just because some fanboys overestimated luffy after the begining of time-skip when they said he could now beat akainu, doesn't mean that we have to bring them down below Weak Wb commanders. -

Yeah, cause Doflamingo, who spent the vast majority of the war strolling around and laughing was taking that confrontation with Crocodile 100% serious. Doflamingo is far stronger than Crocodile or Lucci. Seriously, it's not even close.
Equating the strength of Luffy, Crocodile and Lucci pre-timeskip just proves my point. Luffy wasn't as strong as any of the WB commanders pre-timeskip. He spent all of Marineford getting roundly skelped by pretty much everyone he came into contact with.
The NW is the ultimate ocean and the commanders are the second strongest fighters there. It's meant to be hell on Earth according to just about everybody who's mentioned it. Equating someone like Lucci to some of the strongest fighters in the strongest ocean is just ridiculous.
Also, the vice-admirals saying Lucci is strong does not make him the level of a yonko commander lol. There are different levels of strength.
-
Since knowledge is based on facts, nope, you can't know that!
So explain to me Mr. Genius how in the world are Luffy or Zoro Admiral level, when they need to be in alliance to take down a Yonkou?
Please mate, you are embarrassing yourself here. -
People seem to forget characters can actually get stronger without time skip training. In a few years Luffy, Zoro and Sanji will be able to beat admirals. Right now though? That'd be so much overkill.
-

exactly.
Luffy eastblue
luffy grandline crocodile/enel
luffy grandline lucci
luffy grandline moria/sabaodyare only completely different levels.
same can be said on other SH. -

What i'm saying is that there's no way we could determine SH's actual level, so speaking about it so assured of it like you do it's stupid.
What i said about Luffy/Zoro were beliefs.

That's what i thought when Crocodile's was reveal as Shicibukai, maybe Luffy will defeat Crocodile after Alabasta arc. I mean, he was one of the Shicibukai, it's a pretty big name/title.

Beliefs which I said were wrong and probably most definitely are wrong. I'm sorry but yes we can't determine their level because we haven't seen them in a proper fight in the New World, but that doesn't change the fact that they are in no way capable of tackling an Admiral.

Please mate, you are embarrassing yourself here.Realistically?
Sure I'll bite - Getting to a Yonkou is not the same as getting to a Captain of a ship or an Admiral.
Yonkou's we've seen or heard.
Whitebeard, Big Mom and Kaidou all appear to have massive crews possibly multiple ships and a hierarchy.
Shanks and Blackbeard - Seem to be tight but incredibly strong single crew.To get to the Yonkou they have to make it through the tough crew(s) to fight a well rested top tier fighter who has been fighting off constant attacks or other yonkou.
Admiral's are willing to get down and dirty when the need arises (Kizaru on Sabondy and Aikanu in Marineford)Luffy and Zoro are strong enough to beat a Yonkou now because of how time flows in the One Piece world - Right now they are only what 2-4 days into the new world? Already they have been reserved in their attacks artificially held back by Law - Luffy and Dolfy's fight is going to be another Struggle but if I was to guess it wont be 1 sided like all the other times (Crocodile/Moriah) It will be an even struggle with Dolfy figuring out that Luffy is a strong opponent and Luffy showing us the viewer what it is like when he goes into a fight from the beginning seriously.
By the time Luffy and crew are fighting with their first Yonkou time in One Piece will have moved less than a month - hell probably just over a week from when they first left Sabondy. The strawhats trained for 2 years - a month of fighting might be beneficial to them but nothing compared to the 2 years spent training.
Unless you think there is going to be another time skip for them to get on the Admiral level?
-

And five admirals saying Lucci is strong says a lot. Momonga was one of them and he is a known Rokushiki user, so he could have zipped over their and helped Lucci out. But instead they said "Lucci's got it" (even though he lost, but this is more due to Luffy's strength, not Lucci's weakness).
I don't know if your just overestimating WB commanders strength or underestimating Lucci and Crocodile.

Then what they have another try in a week or two and suddenly Luffy breaks out a gear 4?
A Yonkou isn't Shichibukai - It's not like Marineford where there is a convenient Sub waiting for an exit stage right. Either Luffy defeats who he challenges here or he dies - Zoro called it out they can't afford to be stupid in the New World they have to mean it in every fight.
The only Yonkou I'd see giving a break to Luffy would be Shanks and that would be because he was more disappointed than angry. -

Cause that seems unrealistic.

One Piece is like college. You start out freshman in East Blue with no crew. You mess around for a couple of years, win friends, ace the increasingly difficult exams and wind up senior. You're the king of the Grand Line. Suddenly final exams, the Red Line is in your way. Art class task: Draw a bear. You fail, you never saw a REAL bear before.
Game over? No, you attend Community College. Here you get to learn things your own way at your own pace. 2 years later, time for final exams again. You had two years to practice drawing bears. You can even do it with your left hand, although you're a righty. School's out.
But what's that on the other side of the Red Line? It's the working life. You got your degree, but you need to put it into practice. You gotta start over. Everyone knows more than you do. But you've laid the foundation. You will learn the way of the New World. Only time can tell if you'll become boss.
-
So you reckon every Yonkou Luffy faces (which he will face them all as he stated that he wants to defeat all of them), that he will defeat them on the first go? Cause that seems unrealistic.
Depends on what you term first go.
Technically he defeated Moriah on his first go since it took place in 1 night so roughly 12 hours. Crocodile was defeated without him leaving Alabasta(not sure on the time but it wouldn't be more than 2 days). Enel was smacked down within a Day of Luffy being knocked up into the sky. Lucci was defeated within a 24 hours of their first fight. Luffy went up against 3 Admirals and entire fleet of Marines and Hawkeyes less than a day after being poisoned to near death and still only failed because his mind snapped when Ace died.
When he fights a Yonkou it will be similar to all of his fights he has had so far - if he gets knocked down he gets up till he wins and all happens in around 1 day. Even if it takes up 1-3 years to see that day.
-

I don't know if your just overestimating WB commanders strength or underestimating Lucci and Crocodile.
Crocodile had a not bad showing at Marineford, but had Sakazuki attacked him instead of Curiel, he also would have been toast. Like 99% of the population would have been. There's no reason to infer either character's strength or possble equality from that incident.
Yeah, Lucci is strong. Still doesn't mean he's the level of a yonko commander. In paradise, Moria was strong, in the New World he was massacred. Just because Lucci was considered enough to take on Luffy at that time means nothing in regards to yonko commanders, some of the strongest fighters in The New World.
I'm estimating them as well as I can, and to me it's quite obvious that neither of those characters are on the level of a yonko commander, pre-timeskip anyway.
-
I think Luffy will defeat one emperor, two of them max. Others will be taken out by marines or other pirates or maybe not at all.
This Yonkou status quo situation might come to an end soon and then the NW will be in real chaos, with numerous pirates and nations trying to take more territory while marines are expanding their influence. Maybe that's the chaos everyone is so afraid of.
-

No spoilers this week?
Anyway, I hope they show the sunny team in this coming chapter.
