Still not quite at $2,400,000 and only 9 days to go.
Yeah, I don't think we're going to meet that Extra End Stage and Boss goal.
Oh, and they also are now doing PayPal.

It'll probably surge quite a bit in the last day or two, so I'm not too worried about those. I'm pretty sure we won't get the next gen goal though
I'm pretty confident we'll get the Extra End stage and boss. The questionable one is co-op. Next Gen probably isn't likely right from the getgo but I could imagine it very easily eventually making it onto next gen shops.
$2,400,000 and Challenge Mode stretch goal has been met. Will the $2,550,000 and Extra End Stage and Boss goal be met with only 8 days to go? I really don't know.

Again, it'll probably surge in the last day or two. And the number on kickstarter is actually a bit lower than the real number, since they've added a paypal option that isn't reflected on the kickstarter page. That paypal option has gathered around $20,000 so far from what I've heard
Ooh. I really want the extra stage/boss more than anything else ("Whaaa? Dr. Wily- I mean Dr. Vily is an alien? Who could have guessed!?"). Good to know that goal will probably be met.
So what are the odds of it hitting the PS4 goal, pretty slim?
So what are the odds of it hitting the PS4 goal, pretty slim?
In the Kickstarter goal itself? Pretty slim. Not impossible but definitely slim.
But in all likelihood once it hits the last gen consoles + Wii U, PC, Mac, etc I'd say it's pretty likely that Mighty No.9 will eventually generate enough revenue/demand to warrant a next gen console release.
That's true. If the game does really well on release it might gain enough revenue/support to get a next-gen re-release.
I really like Mighty No.8 he is a sombrero sniper
The Facebook page just announced that when coupled with the Paypal donations, the $2,250,000 stretch goal has been met. They also revealed some more of the stretch goals: $2,900,00 gets us an intro stage and boss., while $3,100,000 nets us a "support character".
I think Co-Op is at least still viable on the horizon.
I think you meant $2,550,000. It could definitely approach 3 mil in the last few days.
So…the guy who created Beck and Call is named "Dr. White".

We could get Online Co-Op or maybe that Intro Stage, but I really don't know if we'll break 3 mil or get the Support character.
If only Bob and George were still running, I'm sure he'd have fun with all of this.
….It's been like six years and I still miss that stupid strip.
You can now pledge extra to get a physical medium in addition to whatever rewards you got before. Also, a 3ds/vita stretch goal was announced, but I highly, highly, highly doubt it'll be reached, so not worth getting hopes up
Honestly, if they bumped up Next gen versions so that handhelds were possible, it'd be much more likely that I'd part with my money. Granted, it'll probably be inevitable that if it's popular enough it'll show up, but I'd probably only end up pledging if there were a decent chance of it showing up on the 3DS :/
So yeah, adding a physical medium option (or options actually) seems to have really given them a boost. Total on kickstarter is $2,643,052 and growing fairly quickly as I write this, and there's at least an additional $46,909 from paypal, probably quite a bit more since that was from 12:01 am pst of today. So The total is at least around 2,690,000, and probably over 2.7 mil. I think that's somewhere between 50k and 100k from where we were last night, and it'll probably grow even faster once we get into the final day and final hours

The first vote on call's design Is up and open to public. It'll narrow it down to 3 designs, which will then be voted on by backers
My money's on F winning
It's basically Roll after all
Yeah, it seems likely. I voted for E though. C would have been nice if it look a bit less creepy, and H was good, but too simple. I kind of wish the pink roll concept we saw was a votable option, since I really liked that one
I like the pink-haired one best. She looks like she match Mighty's color scheme the best.

All the designs being voted on are black and white, since they'll do another vote for color scheme later on. Unfortuantely, the pink call we saw isn't one of the designs we can vote for, probably because it seems to be one design an artist
I think Call C is getting in the final three because "OMG pony"
I voted Call A. Glasses don't really make sense on a robot but I like how miserable she looks.
Based on what I'm seeing, it looks like Call F is the most popular due to the whole Roll-look alike and being a good design while Call E seems to be the runner-up being the most popular afterwards with the design and facial expressions helping.
Where can I see the poll?
Edit: Nevermind, found it.
I voted for Call E.
Doesn't look too much like Roll and I like her facial expressions.
Choice C best choice.
She's the most unique, mature-looking (no sleepy-eyed loli's gonna give you dem hips and thunder thighs), and she has a freaking centaur transformation. Come on.
I like giving Capcom the finger as much as anyone, but we don't need the Roll clone to actually be Roll.
I feel guilty cause I voted E, just because she wears a flight attendant outfit. xD
(After review)It seems Call D is the definite loser from the comments. Poor Call D, you do look the most like a Sonic Character.
@CCC:

I would totally agree if it wasn't for her eyes looking way too creepy. Like, I agree with some of the commenters in that she looks way more like a villain. If the eyes were less creepy it would have been an easy choice for C, but as it is they were too big a factor for me to vote for c
It's a tossup between B and E for me. F is nice, but given what we've already seen of the design, it's a little too "Roll" for me.
I chose C because if it gets to the Beck and Call co-op then Call C would suit the combat more with the transformation concepts with it and all. However I feel Call F fits the game itself better (and is my personal favorite)

on a side note I hate that the 3DS and Vita version stretch goal is behind both the console stretch goals I would think it would be much easier to put it on Vita and/or 3DS
Between paypal and KS playable call stretch goal has just been reached
Heck we're in spiting distance of the intro stage already.
The support character now seems possible.
Voted A. She looks like she'd have pigtail cannons.
B reminds me a bit much of Arale from Dr. Slump… and indeed a lot of them seemed to have wanted to put glasses on the girl robot.
C is the most interesting and potentially versatile looking of the bunch. I'm sure they'd tweak with the eyes a bit if it made it to the final. If not, the big glossy eyed stare could be fun and endearing if done right.
And yeah, looks too much like Roll. I guess as long as the colors don't make her blonde in a red dress...?
intro stage stretch goal has been obtained
Aw. The Aero looking one from the initial previews is gone. I liked that one the best.
Ohwell. I like E the best. Outfit wise. C is is the coolest concept wise however. I don't like the hair, but it goes really well with the centaur silhouette.
Megaman 2 composer Takashi Tateishi is on board for might no 9. I thought it was strange that they mentioned he invited the megaman 1 composer to work on the game in the first documentary bit, but we had no mention of him being involved
For those that said that might not reach 3 million, here's a bowl of words. Enjoy.
$3,1 mil reached and roughly 40 hours to go. Now let's see if the next gen consoles goal is reachable.
$3700000:Single Player Call Stage & Boss
Huh? Wasn't this part of the co-op stretch goal?
Well, I think it has a shot at the PS4 and XBone versions in this last day… though really I wish the portables were ahead of those. Even those might potentially be doable maybe, but thats a LOT of money to kick up in the final day.
I too want the portables more than the next-gen. This really seems more like a portable game than a computer or console game.
For those that said that might not reach 3 million, here's a bowl of words. Enjoy.
Alright, alright, I'll eat. I chalk this up to the power of Paypal.
Well they might make them in time. The demand is clearly there after all.
Also
That video comes with the note "The final product won't look like this AT ALL. Those aren't actual models or graphics or lighting effects and normally we'd never show something off only a week in… but given the nature of this kickstarter..."
I kind of want That Game Company to do a kickstarter just so I can throw money at them after Flower and Journey.
Huh? Wasn't this part of the co-op stretch goal?
The stretch goal you were thinking of that was reached previously was the "Beck and Call Online Co-Op Challenge Mode". Shame we very likely won't see a Call only stage.
