Meanwhile, I get that Karin's been basically said to be an Uzumaki, but why is it all of the sudden that she brings out these random chains? Coulda been useful maybe with handling the eight tails.

I thought that Naruto chapter was kind of cool. The internal heart massage is the coolest medical ninja thing we've seen so far. Most of the time medical ninjas just use their magical healing hands to wash the pain away.

Yeah exactly. Minato's place. Kilometers away from their current location? That was a huge jump in the distance suddenly, and quite conveniently it also makes the situation all the more dramatic.
You know, until Naruto eventually has to make his way back kilometers away to Madara.
But yeah, having only one Rinnegan didn't stop Obito from sucking into the Juubi, so I guess that works.

Obitos Toilet Flush was based on his own personal mangekyo sharingan, which Madara doesn't have. The rinnegan does a ton of shit, but the extreme suction/dimension powers ain't one of them. Hell, you can even see Madara absorbing the Juubi through his back.
Oh, so that's which toilet flush ability you meant. Actually, and rarely would I defend Kishi, although in this case you could attribute it to his poor layout and panelling, the whole sucking it up doesn't involve the use of Kamui but is just what happens when the ten tails becomes sealed and hosted by a jinchuuriki.
…at least I think that's how Obito ended up getting the ten tails sucked into him.

I think Naruto recalled that Obito's handseal was supposed to be the outer path revival but then Obito used a different one, and that one was the one to do the sealing. Probs the same one that Madara used this chapter? I'm too lazy to look it up. But yeah, I think Obito did do something. And that assimilating a gigantic chakra monster has essentially been engineered to be something simple just so that Kishimoto doesn't have to spend a lot of time on it.

Yes that eye panel was the highlight of the chapter. Also is there really any difference between Rukia's power and Hitsugaya's power, except Rukia has to actually touch everything and doesn't seem to be able to control ice or construct anything from it, thereby making it kinda inferior ?
