@Fire Fist:
Kaidou is the least likely since Luffy doesn't even know who he is. If Moriah told him about their connection, even, I'm sure he'd have forgotten it by now. Shanks is the most likely, honestly. Luffy knows that Law can't beat Shanks, and wants to see him again, so that's why he'd be happy about it and Nami would be shocked.
Big Mom is the most likely. Then Kaido. Then Shanks and it's possible, but incredibly stupid, if it's Blackbeard.
And Luffy did not know anything about Crocodile when it was told to him, but he was enthusiastic about beating him up.
It's POSSIBLE it can be Shanks, but hell, how can it be "most likely" to be Shanks? Really? In what depths of the box did you pull that from?
And did you even read what I was replying to with that post?

Maybe because Oda likes to troll the fans… And it is obviously working seeing this debate is still going on... Why would he introduce BM, make Luffy declare war on her, say that Kid sank some of her ships and then make Law-Luffy and the Kid-Apoo-Hawkins alliance to take down some other Yonko? That would just be fucking stupid...
No - it wouldn't be "fucking stupid". But I do agree that it's going to be a ODD with setting it up and then doing something else. It's odd that the story had to go through a huge island-ship, a mangrove island, various islands including a woman island in the Calm Belt, a prison, a war, and a two year time skip after setting up and hyping a lot about Fishman Island (which, when it came, was a huge letdown. Understandable, but a letdown nonetheless).
Though, as Shift said in another post, there's still the exploding casket that Luffy sent to Big Mom.

@nanly:
I'm gonna make the prediction that Luffy and Zoro are gonna fight each other after this arc, for the title of Captain.
I stopped when I read this.
You probably skipped a lot of chapters and arcs if you're predicting this.
