This is actually a part of the manga that I has some thoughts on. Hopefully Oda will expand on this a bit. I remember Zoro lecturing Luffy about being serious during the Water 7 arc when Usopp was trying to get back to the crew. Zoro's shout for Luffy to be careful is so much more serious than before.
The New world is a much more dangerous and complicated place. First, devil fruit users are much more adept at using their powers and so far much more intelligent. CC at time looks like a dumb character but he is a scientist after all. Second, all those alliances makes it harder to determine who can be trusted or not.

- Sanji & Usopp funny exchange.
- Zoro's seriousness and warning to Luffy.
- Brook showing off how useful his ability is.
- Smoker decision to fight Vergo.
Overall, a pretty "warm" and obviously build-up chapter. I expect better things next week.

I don't think he is dumb at all, he is a brilliant scientist. He is kind of goofy though.

So about Momonosuke i have a feeling he is a fox or a different animal that Kinemon saved when it was very young and treats him like a son almost. When he ended up in PH though Caesar took him and started experimenting on him and he is now a much larger vicious mutated version of himself and Kinemon will have to end up fighting him to defend himself. Though he will listen to Kinemon though after something happens.
Then Kinemon, Momonosuke, and the Dragon will join the SHs and Kinemon will be the animal tamer/biologist.

Did you read Marineford? There were a helluva' alotta' swordsmen. However, we saw very few martial artists. Who? Jinbei. Everyone else was flinging flaming swords about.
Equally, I don't think you can compare DF users who don't use weaponry, such as Robin and Luffy, with people who're purely martial artists, like Sanji. The DF completely changes the game. That's what sets the difference between Brooke and Zoro. What's more, the former's a musician and Zoro's a swordsman. They provide different roles on the ship, although both fight with swords, that's cool. But a ship with one sword-wielding musician and two swordsmen, but the new one's not got a chance of competing with the former, so does that not seem a little pointless? I know everyone in the crew has their own place, regardless of their power, but the crew already has a swordsman, and he can fxck shxt up, quite clearly, on his own. Do you understand my position?
Yes ,I read Marineford and the hundreds of chapters that came before it.
But even in that arc there were either df users, swordsmen or martial artists on both sides. If you don't remember just do a re read it helps alot ,guys like Vice Admiral Dalmatian never used any weapons or Namur;the fishman commander of the Whitebeard Pirates, even the top commanders like Jozu and Marco ,yes they are df users but they also rely heavily on physical abilities as well,for instance Marco used kicks all through that arc often enhanced with his hybrid forms' talons ,not once did I see him use any type of projectile attacks or maybe Jozu is a better example who literally was using throws and take downs or spear moves very reminiscent of modern day wrestlers or pro American football players.
So yes the Devil Fruit changes the game because it grants the user unique enhancements, could be physical ,intangibility or unimaginable destructive power etc. but it doesn't change their main fighting style which half the time is either some form of martial art or they blend some type of weapon into their combat capabilities. Except for ofc those percentage of Df users who's powers don't rely on weapons or in some case physical contact at all,like Mr. 3 the wax man.
I don't wanna get into the differences between Zoro and Brook, to me Zoro's true role aboard the Sunny is First Mate because quite frankly swordsman isn't a role to be fulfilled on a ship ,but thats a whole different argument so i'll leave that alone for now. As for Brook he may be a Musician but he is also a swordsmen, just because he has the profession of a Musician doesn't change the fact he is also a swordsman,if we were to continue this logic we'd have to say Sanji isn't a martial artist because he's a Chef ,it just wouldn't make any sense.
Now IF Kinemon were to join the crew ,to simply tag him as a swordsman role aboard the Sunny wouldn't be fair because the reality is we don't know who He really is or what he does with his life ,we know he's Kinemon of Foxfire from Wano-Kuni born in Kuri and he has a Son. But what does he do with his life? What drives him? What is his Profession? Is he Royalty? maybe a Merchant Sailor? maybe he has a Dream that he's always wanted to fulfill that he couldn't because he had his newborn Son at the time.
Really, he could be any number of things for the crew we just don't know as of this moment.

My theory is they will go to Wano country with Kinemon and eventually get a Samurai who's been outcast because he prefers to use non-traditional weapons that samurai wouldn't use like an Axe, hammer, etc. Thus, he'll be quirky, odd, and won't clash with the whole two-swordsmen philosophy.

- Kinemon… He doesn't even have to do anything but just stand there to be amazing. You don't get called a straw hat for no reason, and that glare!
- I have a feeling something's going to happen to Smoker, what he said to Tashigi made me think he knew he wasn't coming back, it'd suck if that were actually the case.
- Sanji and Usopp were quite funny, and Sanji saying he's glad it was his body that got her instead of Nami was nice.
- Pandaman! There are only a handful of times when I've spotted him on the first read, so this was nice!
- Zoro's words to Luffy were unexpected..Him even pointing out he was just as reckless as Luffy was also unexpected, but quite awesome.
- Luffy using soru/geppou this arc is really awesome….Gomu-Gomu no UFO...and that exit...just amazing..!!
I can't wait to see how all this plays out, I really want to see Momonosuke.

It just looks to be a mix of Soru and Geppou..
His feet do kinda look attached to the railing on a second look, but it made me think back on the first picture.

I agree that's probably what it is. But that seems to add waaaay to much hax to Law and his fruit. We saw him retrieve his own sword and he didnt even use room. I guess we need to change it from ope ope no mi to plot plot no mi because it can do anything the plot happens to need.

Robin flat out stated it… But I doubt Luffy is/was using it... he wouldn't be that amazed by Sanji doing it. And it would completely take the uniqueness of Sanji's ability away if just one arc after Oda dedicted one entire chapter for hyping Sanji, Luffy starts to use it...

I was always one who supported the idea of Robin using Rosushiki techniques, especially Shigan and Tekkai but if she could do it she would have used it on FI.

Not really ,Her Df ability is really Hax some times especially for fodder but i think given the right opponent Robin could very well display some type of fighting ability. I would like to think she was doing more than sitting around blushing sipping tea with Dragon, he had to teach her something.

Luffy learned Soru when somewhere between the raid of the mansion and the attack on Enies Lobby. He used it in his fight against Blueno. It appears in Chapter 88, "Gear Second".
Sanji was surrounded by urchin fishmen and reminisced about how in Kamabakka Kingdom, he ran forever, until he had nowhere to run, so he ran up unknowingly learning Geppou. Robin even says in awe "That's CP9's…" when Sanji used "Sky Walk". It appears in Chapter 635, "So Disgusting it Makes Me Fly".

If robin could learn tekkai that would pretty much make her new world worthy. Otherwise she has relatively no defense at all. (that we know of)
Also, I have a theory about brook. I think his spirit form has those little puffs of smoke next to it to represent something. Maybe an attack/ability? Or maybe it's the number of retries he has after dying
