just wanted to rant. another deux ex machina.. another "toriko suddenly releases his full power because of komatsu's cries".. not really liking the pace of this fight. hopefully that's it for their fight.

and don;t tell me it's another of those "images".

i'm as disappointed in the chapter as anyone… but i suddenly realized that kishimoto just succeeded in having everyone talk about naruto, even those who are casual readers and don't have that much investment in reading the story.

can't help but post. Akashi has Sharingan.. This indeed "Prince of Tennis-level bullshit"..

This is actually a part of the manga that I has some thoughts on. Hopefully Oda will expand on this a bit. I remember Zoro lecturing Luffy about being serious during the Water 7 arc when Usopp was trying to get back to the crew. Zoro's shout for Luffy to be careful is so much more serious than before.

The New world is a much more dangerous and complicated place. First, devil fruit users are much more adept at using their powers and so far much more intelligent. CC at time looks like a dumb character but he is a scientist after all. Second, all those alliances makes it harder to determine who can be trusted or not.
