Oh my god i can not understand how DonFlamingo has not really quited. It's confirmed from high ranked Marines. There is the theory of secret deal between him and World Goverment but i never supported it because Smoker's report about Punk Hazard incidents (his identity as Joker, his relation with Kaido) should lead him to be banned from Schichibukai. Unless if World goverment knew about all these but i think that's improbable.

This arc will be bombastic! The hearts pirates + Strawhat pirates + Helpers(Gnomes + Toys + Constestans?) VS Doflamingo Pirates + Marines + CP0. Crazy shit!!!!
I have a pet theory that the CP0 are there in case Dragon's revolutionaries see the newpaper of him quiting and take it as an oportuity to insite a revolution.

小人 is literally "small person." That's all. They're clearly Lilliputians from Gulliver's Travels, but he couldn't very well use Lilliputian because it's specific to that fictional canon. Dwarf and gnome are both reasonable translations.
Just confirmed: The word used in Japanese translations of Gulliver's Travels for Lilliputians is just straight up kobito (小人), the same word Oda chose.

then i don't think dwarf is the best translation, since they are like gnomes or similar small people of the fairy tales. people have a different idea of a dwarf.

-The dwarves are FINALLY introduced ! I didn't expect them to look like that, I have to say: I expected them to look more like small, ordinary humans, but I love their design !-I usually don't care about fanservice, but DAMN was this good ! Robin looked perfect in this chapter, really cute, beautiful and sexy !
-So it seems that the guys who are on the Sunny are part of Doflamingo's crew… Either that, or they're dwarves who reached the Sunny before Doflamingo's men could attack the Straw Hats.
-Speaking of which, it seems one of my intuitions was right: Doflamingo did have a plan to screw Law and the Straw Hats over. I didn't expect he'd go as far as to fake his defection from the Shichibukai ! I didn't even know that was possible ! Either he struck a deal with the WG, or he outright blackmailed them, IMO.
-By the way, if Sanji suddenly knows about Doflamingo's plan, does that mean that Violet knows and told him, or is my imagination simply going wild ?
-We finally see Rebecca again, and it seems she also has a dark and sad past... Just what the hell happened to her ? Anyway, she's definitely going to play a bigger role in this arc than I thought, and I can't wait to see more !
Overall, I absolutely loved this chapter. I've always loved chapters like these that reveal a lot of stuff, so I definitely wasn't disappointed !

I wonder what the dynamic is here. Doflamingo is somehow keeping Rebecca and the toy from being together, which is why Rebecca needs the mera mera to to beat him. One-leg is planning to destroy the factory and wants to save the workers, so Doflamingo is probably forcing toys into slave labour… I wonder if the toy solider was Rebecca's when she was a child.

Well i'm sure it's been talked about before. It was a distinct possibility, and that it was never confirmed by some "OMG Doflamingo quit the Shichibukai!!!?" reactions could have made it seem a bit suspicious. Also Mingo never seemed like the kind of guy to just lay down to go with it.

Interesting. It looks like Robin and Usopp might save Law's bacon with their new dwarf allies. I also can't help but wonder if we will get some cool one on one fights as the Strawhats face the Family
By the way nice to see they are paying some attention to Robin as well. Usually they keep the sexy stuff mostly to Nami so it's nice to see they are equal opportunity perverts. ;) And let's hope they don't give mutant breasts to Robin again once this episode is animated

So … Doflamingo didn't quit the Shichibukai, but had a story run and co-operated with Fujitora from the start. Presumably, WG was in on it at some level.
The gnomes own Green Bit, and run the factory that makes the SMILES for Kaido
Wouldn't be surprised if the toys were actually at some point people and Doflamingo has them turned into toys ... fits with his puppeteer image. And then the one legged soldier could be Kyros ( ... and then Ricky wouldn't be).
Good chapter. And that call was from SANJI? We need to see what he's been up too. Hopefully some badassery like in the good ol' days :p

About Law's situation, I think all down to his status now, if he still recognized as Shichibukai by marines, I don't see why marines gonna attack him, unless Akainu planned to get rid both DD and Law with let them fight and take down the winner. :ninja: But to saw Fujitora ordered the marines to the beach, I don't think it's the plan. And zzzzzzzzzz another break :sad:I don't think DD cooperated with marines either, if he did, he is gonna lose CC, unless he planned to get CC back from marines but with Fujitora there, not a chance XD

This seems like a fair assumption. So a small contingency of rebel toys are working with the dwarves to bring down the factory that is presumably staffed by dwarves and/or toys, against their will. To this end, the dwarves have been focusing on stealing weapons recently (Kabu taking the Marine's weapons, Leo's "rule" while searching Robin, Wicca taking Zoro's sword, mystery dwarf on the Sunny-go rustling around in the men's quarters…) so that they can perform their violent rebellion.
Wicca being excited about the DD family heading for the Sunny-go might be because the DD family is usually guarding the factory, but now they've left their posts.

Great chapter. Now its up to some fights. Dofla, CP0, Fujitora, way too many strong enemies. Laws only trump card is Caesars heart and Usopps army. I guess he and his crew have been badly defeated at this island once, so this is his second chance.

Ah I'd forgotten about that. I guess he still somewhat has Doflamingo by the balls then. Though he better maintain a safe distance from Doffy though otherwise his advantage would quickly be nullified by by Flamingo's ability. We saw how quickly Vergo was able to close the distance between them and Doffy should be faster.

He received the report from smoker and the journal talking about Doflamingo resignation was deliver in the entire New World or even World, but he still a Shichibukai. And the Akainu even sent Fujitora to deal with Law and Strawhat.
Now the question is how could Doflamingo achieve all that? I bet that have something to do with DD Past, as said by Vergo.
