So, i would say this raises the chances of Magellan being the new admiral. Wouldn't make sense for him to still be injured after two years and he wouldn't have left the prison unless it was to become an admiral, especially because Aokiji left. Still a chance that he isn't obviously but I would say it's pretty much a given at this point.
Magellan being an Admiral would be AMAZING! He was strong as hell and we need to see him being surpassed, but would suck to have another Impel Down arc.
The problem is Magellan was not part of the Marine. It would be weird to see someone enter the Marine already as an Admiral instead of climbing the ranks properly… army, navy, they all follow the rank things very strictly.
I wouldn't be surprised if in the next chapter we see Magellan kicking Hannyabal out of his chair and we discover Hannyabal likes to pretend to be the warden (although his new... round shape...)

But I don't think Smoker will let him do it so easily. I guess after all this, Law is going to lose his Shichibukai title and will turn into a "normal" pirate again and he'll blame the SHs for everything, because if they didn't showed up there, he could continue doing whatever he's doing there.

I hope this fight between Smoker and Law continues. It was soooo weird when Law was doing all that shit and Smoker was just looking at him, and I was thinking "wait, won't Smoker do a thing against him??". Come next page, he is charging right at him, and I liked that. Still, Law is terrifyingly strong. And people were saying non-stop that "Law is too weak to be a Sichibukai". Yeah, right.
Well, that. Smoker vs. Law for a little bit more, please! 4 or 5 pages, and I'll be happy!
Oh, and congratulations Hannyabal! One of the highlights of the Impel Down arc no doubt, and he deserves this. I'm honestly happy for him. He was so goofy and funny, and yet his speech to Luffy was the truest, most authentic "stand for justice" moments in the entire series. And the irony is, he was so fucking right; after Impel Downs guards and walls, what will protect the innocent citizens from the hundreds of extremely dangerous escaped convicts?
In the end, Hannyabal was a real fucking hero. Again, congratulations!!

I very much doubt he's an Admiral. That in itself would be pretty big news if it happenned. Though i see no reason why he couldn't have been intergrated into the Marines. Sentoumaru was after all..not a part of the Marines 2 years prior, and now he is.
Jinbei did mention something about how the WG gave the Marines unprecedented powers to compensate for the fact that they were weakend militarily with AoKiji leaving…..
Maybe a part of that was intergrating the strongest from other sections under the control of the Government into the Marines.
I really don't see Law losing his postion. Its not like G-5 has a good reptuation or something...and SMoker for that matter either....

Dunno why some of you guys are upset because Tashigi has Haki. Haki is the new "common thing" in the New World, while Devil Fruits were the ones in the Grand Line. Everyone pretty much has it, but in this chapter it's confirmed that the levels of Haki can greatly vary. That's why Akainu was able to kill Ace, not because his magma hardcounters fire.

Come on people, it is painfully obvious that Zoro and Sanji have Haki, Oda doesn't have to specifically say it for us to know. The difference between them and Luffy is that, unlike the captain, they haven't been focusing exclusively on haki during their 2 years training, so they're are not as proeficient with it as Luffy.
Back in Fishman Island, when Luffy asked Zoro and Sanji if they could sense "a wild animal in the castle", they said they could, but they were surprised. That is exactly the difference between their Haki: Luffy could sense Caribou even when he was distracted, while Zoro and Sanji had to focus to be able to do it.
Anyway, this discussion is kind of pointless, as unlike Luffy, I really doubt we will ever see Zoro or Sanji use Haki-based techniques (unless Ashura is a form of Haki), so unless they are fighting a Logia, it won't be that important in fights - meaning that even when they master CoA and CoO, all we will see them do is being able to hit very hard / avoid enemy attacks really easily which, if you think about it, is something that top fighters should be able to do, and we won't even be able to tell the difference between what is Haki and what is pure fighting skill, because it will be almost like an "invisible ability".

Good chapter overall, Brook was great and I was not expecting Brownbeard at all, Oda never forgets his characters (except Kuro it seems). Law's fruit is cool but a little to powerful and vague for my taste. Being a god in a certain space seems too strong and giving the excuse of it being his "operation room" is pushing the whole specific DF power thing. Its kind of like Kuma's fruit where Oda just throws random powers out there that only loosely relate to the original fruit. They are both awesome powers just too vaguely described and godly. Also not a huge fan of body swaps but maybe Oda will break the cliches that come with this kind of comedy.
So is Smoker not affected because he is made out of smoke or is he using his Haki to resist it?
And, congrats to Hannyabal on his promotion to Warden!! Though he has gotten FAT….

If Smoker tells the higher-ups that Law was residing in Punk Hazard and that he attacked a Vice-Admiral, I don't think they would be so drastic as to revoke his status. They'll probably just scold him or give him a light punishment.
Someone said before, "we don't know if Brownbeard was already a centaur or not". True. BUT, we know his crew WEREN'T centaurs in any of their previous 2 appearances in the manga.
1st one: chapter 581. We see 2 recurring characters: the wild looking, long haired man, and the one cutting the WB flag. Both have normal legs.
2n one: chapter 594. Both recurring characters from before are here. I'm quite certain Hawkins is sitting right on the beaten "WB flag cutting" guy.
3rd one: this chapter. Wild looking guy is now a centaur, and I'm quite certain also that "WB flag" guy is the one who's shouting "Yeah, we did it!" with a bazooka on his hands. Also now a centaur.
So, my conclusion: someone turned them into centaurs. Why? How? I don't know. But it rocks!

Hot dayum Law is fucking hot. But I honestly hope he doesnt turn out to be the main bad guy (though the after this chapter, it seems unlikely). But, so far he only exerts his powers on the marines. The personality swap can easily be explained to confuse the mugiwara. If he wanted to stop them, he couldve just sliced their legs apart to stop their mobility. He did say mugiwaras are trouble wherever they go in the last chapter…

P.S. I was curious about Megellan'S current whereabouts and situation since they got on that Island surrounded in poison gas. Now that its confirmed that he's no longer the Warden at ID, which makes sense because he was so prideful and more than likely couldn't take being the Warden who let a crap load of people escape, he probably went on his own. I think that talking gas of poison is probably him…. either that or he's an Admiral now cause he was certainly a beast!

I don't think Akainu would let him take a high ranking position after all those prisoners escaped, there's a chance, but it's a slight one. More than likely Magellan is tracking the prisoners down or another thing that could be possible is that Magellan stepped down from his Warden position as Aokiji did with his admiral position.
