I'm glad Orochi isn't another Spandam. While it was satisfying to see a weak guy like him fail, I like the idea of a secondary main villain that can hold his own. Bonus points for not being a pirate or government affiliate.

He may not be a Spandam but he certainly could be a Vander Decken….. He already seems to have a similar female obsession for the courtesan the way VD had tbe obsession for Shiraoshi*
Also, he may have a unique DF same way VD had his aim fruit or whatever... but because he wasn't the main villain during the Fishman Island arc, he was pretty much relegated as a 2nd rate comic relief villain.
I wait to see what he's ultimately about. Hopefully it's not only about getting the woman of his dreams.

It seems like the WG is really moving on something big, as the officials made the comment that “are they going to start a war” based on the size of the sea stone weapon shipment. Maybe more credence to the thoughts of the WG going against the Shichi.

I really liked this chapter. Good to see Kidd and Liffy getting prison buff, even with seastone shackles on. Kidd was at a higher bounty than luffy, yes he would’ve been more ruthless but still, he’s up there with him in terms of resolve strength and will! They both have different styles (luffy paying close attention to the half dead old man in each panel whereas kidd really didn’t give a f) but they are on the same level. Going forward they can’t be too weak when faced against such seastone weapons. It’s the new world and if they are at the level they are they can’t afford to be bested by a mere seastone weapon or shackle alone. So a show of seastone tolerance is a level up for them that Oda wants to show for sure.

PS chances are the mysterious fishbone prisoner doesn’t have… hands?

Didn't like how the entire chapter was a lead up to a sliver of cliff hanging information about Sanji. Assassins, ok.. im interested. More please.

Also, as it related to Capone's ability, Chopper and Nami alluded to the fact that they were moving forward "as if being compelled by an 'order'". Capone rightfully said he's a Castle man, could that also come with some form of "King's command" ability once someone is within range which would compelled whom ever he wants to command to get in his castle belly? Or wthat some kind of translation error?

But guys… doesn't pekoms have a shell on his bacj.... then again, if he wasn't expecting it then he may not have had it activated.
