C´mon, nothing can beat this
Indeed. My favourite as well. It's like he just realized who he's dealing with. Then its followed by the next panel where he just hung poor chopper from his sword lol

And that's why Pell died… for MAJOR plot development... Except only he didn't die, and no real explanation as to how he survived the bomb that was supposed to kill ONE MILLION PEOPLE...
It wasn't a mistake. Oda knew he was gonna live. It was a disappointment to some. That much I can understand.
I do see what your saying but I just feel like from a story telling perspective that was a misstep. It was such a brilliant climax to only be cheapened later, in like 3 panels. Oh yeah by the way Pell's still alive. Now off to thriller bark…
He doesn't have a problem with killing characters. Just because they live doesnt make it a problem. It's only a problem to certain readers.
Furthermore, not killing isn't the same as bring people back from the dead
No not killing Pell was a mistake. It undermined his whole sacrifice
Wanna I wanna know is how Absalom got to both Luffy and Kid's meeting sites
You'd be back the following week, just like the rest of us.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Oda's not Kishimoto.
I know but Oda does have a SERIOUS problem with killing his characters. I know he won't but if he did. That would be the end of one piece for me lol.
Also… Ace better stay dead. I swear to God if Oda finds someway to revive Ace.... I shudder to think....
What a bomb chapter… Nice to see buggy confirmed as a warlord finally. Too bad about the 7th warlord troll. Could it be Bonney possibly??? How did she escape otherwise. Maybe she's the 7th but I doubt it, but maybe because she was the only other supernova shown besides kid who obviously had to be shown. I just can't overstate how strange it is to see Bonney. I've been wondering about her for months. Just strange that she is free when Akainu said she was really important when they initially caught her. Also is this mystery reporter Absalom??? It would make sense somehow. He could be there undetected and its a VERY Oda thing for him to do after he the whole Thriller bark thing fell through for him. Baby 5 is actually pretty funny.
As for the Mera Mera fruit and the whole Fujitora thing.... Who knows, it's a world of possibilities from here lol. And for everyone saying it was over hyped... not a chance. This chapter basically finished setting up like the next year of one piece along with last weeks chapter.
So, i would say this raises the chances of Magellan being the new admiral. Wouldn't make sense for him to still be injured after two years and he wouldn't have left the prison unless it was to become an admiral, especially because Aokiji left. Still a chance that he isn't obviously but I would say it's pretty much a given at this point.
I haven't posted in forever but hot damn I had to come on and talk about shit today. WTF IS GOING ON!!! Shit is gettin real. I don't know how I feel about Law being a shibi. Very strange turn of events. I figured he had to be on the island with all the body parts and half mixes of people but a shibi lol. What kind of fight are we gonna see on this island? And Law's bounty is pretty insane. Makes me wonder what the Pirate Lord's bounties are gonna be. Next week is gonna be a great chapter.
Edit: Also, does this mean that Law is working for the slim/blob/wtf thing? Because the little interaction before they meet Law kinda leaves me to believe that Law and this thing have some kinda strained relationship goin on, because the peon was like "then this means…." and the slim just said nothing, then next thing we know there's Law... So very interesting
