It's curious that Dofmlamingo clearly thinks that despite being confident about Vergo taking out Law, he needs backup to deal with Luffy.
Well, Vergo still has Law's heart, so I don't quite get why Vergo is on his way to stop Law to begin with. Why no squeeze?
Luffy on the other hand is free of such handycaps, and his whole crew is present as well.

I do not know, Vergo is someone really hard to get at this point. We know too little of him. DD for example said this chapter that it would be hard on Vergo to kill Law, so we can assume their relationship was a bit more than just acquaintances.

So why doesn't Vergo just crush his heart now to at least weaken him. cause once he's in range of Laws DF, Law gets his heart back and i can't really see Law losing that fight. Also i'm not really clear on what Dolfa wants done with SAD. I'll wait for a CCC translation cause oh boy is there a lot of info in this chapter.

Anyway….weird and awesome and interesting chapter. I dunno, have some thing been mistranlated? Donflamingo said he'd bring baby 5 and another guy over to that island later, but isn't that the weapon maid? Either this is a mistake or Don has a way to change Baby 5's mind. If that latter is true, then this adds brainwashing to his power.
The dragon thing. This seems like an usually cruel twist for One Piece, it basically means that half the crew and Kinemon spent half a chapter beating a kid. Sure, you got my attention but what the hell? Where can this go? Will the crew go through a period of guilt? How will Kinemon react? Probably not well.
It seems this chapter was mostly meant to confuse. The story really could go anywhere next. Heck, we could even avoid the cliche "crew beats the bad guy," resolution and have Donflamingo rescue CC (possibly leaving the kids behind, so they're saved at least).
Edit: Oh, and the kids drew blood on Monster Chopper! Looks like they're stronger then that one Fishman at least.

Yep, would be a possibility. Law goes on after this arc whereas the SHs goes after CC and then has to fight DD and his crew. So basically, the guys who are coming to PH now (Babe+5 and the other guy) will not really have a fight with the SHs but rather be a escort for CC.

(whatever it may be) and S.A.D. is bad for Flamingo for some reason Vergo is supposed to 1.) destroy the S.A.D. room, 2.) kill Law and 3.) kill Caesar. Especially the third part is a bit weird but i guess it would make sense.

It's indeed confusing, this chapter is just too much to handle for both trans groups I guess. Going to wait for Mangarules work before making any more comments.

Well, Caesar unlike Vergo and Monet was never a part of DD´s crew, DD even sent someone to spy on him (Monet), so it would not surprise me if DD wants him killed but the translation is really a bit squishy there.

I think Dofla only wants Law dead cus Dofla would be 'troubled' if Caesar is captured. Possibly implying that he needs S.A.D.
and I had this impression that it was like a 4-way conversation between Vergo, Dofla, Caesar and Monet the entire time :S maybe I was wronganyone else think buffalo could be the mysterious top hat gunslinger?

I'm guessing SAD = Rumble ball, which is why Chopper turned in to the Monster form.
Maybe Vegapunk/Caesar developed a way of creating Zoan DF's and control them, hence why the genetic mutations of Brownbeard (and going back, of some of the Sea Kings the New Fishman Pirates had).
Also Doffy nakama is definitely Sabo. No doubt, same hat, covered up because of the scars/burns?

The way I read this is Donquixote tasked Vergo with killing Law and destroying the SAD room. I presume you were confused with "and they're trying to kidnap Caesar, huh…" and "Well, I'd kill him...!!" I took this as being addressed for Law but It's awkward wording.

It doesn't literally mean the plate or vessel is large, it means the said person has more… how should I put it, king/leader/boss like potential and character.The bigger your "plate" is, the grander that person "is".
Not just about power and strength, more about the character.I would translate that line as Luffy may have bigger potential than Law.
EDIT: On the other hand, they may mean the same in Chinese, and left it the same thinking it's the same in English and English speakers will understand it. Either way it's a translation mistake.

Dof finally being intrested in Luffy, will he try and use him some how? I can see Dof trying to add Luffy to his team some way or another, which would be epic to see.
Loved seeing every one work together like this, here we have Team Nami/Usopp/Robin/Brook/new guy V.S Dragon, this kind of thing is great to see in arcs.

…or just read few pages back and you'll know it's a bad translation, and it supposed to be something like "bigger threat". The Japanese sentence is idiomatic and the translator is idiotic... err, pardon my harsh words.

Teach him a lesson? About what? Being kidnapped? Turning into a beast beyond his will? We don't even know if that dragon is his son.
Not to mention Kinemon has been determined to find Momonosuke…..I can only see him reacting with dramatic tears if he finds him, moreso if he finds out he attacked his son in the process.
