Finally watched Argo and here is what i have to say about it.
I have to agree that the concept was rly interesting (well, real life happens to have a lot of "good" stuff you can use), but this movie dragged itself like almost for the whole middle part.
The beginning was good and the end was..at least there i felt like watching a decent movie.
But the "will they get into the airplane while everywhere pop up problems" felt so forced..damn, iam used to that in a Jennifer Aniston -movie, but not for an award nominee.
Well, it wasn`t bad, but just decent afterall.
Ben Affleck might concentrate on being a full time director from now on, because his performance was one emotionless face during the whole movie.
His performance was so weak, that even i would have started drinking in a country where this is forbidden.^^
Like i said the middle part of this movie was dragging and i rly hoped that this part with them showing how they have to build that structure of a fake movie would be a bit better, but i guess that was my own fault in hoping there too much.
(like going to a place they would actually use for such a fake movie and shoot some stuff, instead of a freaking market..like seriously a market??)
So overall way to hyped and for me not even close to be a real contender for the best picture title.
