@MetaMario:
Oh man that's even worse.
Reminds me of some awkwardness that happened when i was hanging out with some friends last month.
These four friends live as two couples in adjacent flats,
and they regularly hold get-together pizza nights at each others flats, which i often come along to.
Basically, on this particular night everyone had a couple of beers and people were buzzed and happy.
While eating our pizza, we were having mealtime conversation and someone brought up the fact that prisons aren't what they used to be,
and said that if he was homeless he'd probably commit some kind of crime just to get a safe roof over his head.
The topic of "what would your crime be?" came up, and the second guy said "well, i don't want to kill anyone, so i'd probably just rape someone instead."
His fiance's expression dropped, and she said "you're horrible, don't joke about that. I was raped, remember?"
He claimed to have no memory of her ever saying such a thing, and they got pretty heated about it.
She spent the next hour or so sulking and looking dead to the world, punching the guy whenever he tried to ask her what he'd done wrong.
He just didn't get it, and it was really annoying her that he wouldn't admit that he crossed a personal line.
In a deadpan voice she said "You're a prick. The father of my child and nothing more. That's all i think of you, honest truth."
Shit was awkward as hell, but we eventually managed to play peacemaker with them before anyone could go home feeling shitty.
