LIFE: OH, the marvelous moment when you discuss politics with a unknown guy while you wait in a line in the hospital to get free medicine for your mom.
Post how your day was…

@No:
So my dad got drunk….twice today.
And pissed himself on the way back. And when we got back home none of the five other people waiting wanted to go into the same elevator.
And I had to yell at him for ten minutes to take off his pissed jeans, which he refused to do because, and I quote, "I hate you".
I wouldn't want to deal with shit like that all the time. Do you still live with your parents?
-
one of the servers at work got hacked, so this has been a really bad day…
-
I AM SICK and I AM GOOD right now.
-
Just lost power in my house for about twenty minutes. Don't know what's up with that, but I have been once again reminded of just how much technology plays a role in my life.
-
there might be the storms around you.
-
I've been to Shivering Isles before, so I can confirm that's the case.
-
Well, the electricity is back on now, so perhaps it was never off in the first place, and I'm just crazy.

Man No Maam… my dad is also an alcoholic (different type than your dad - verbally abusive quite frequently and he says quite the hurtful things indeed) so I know how hard it is to deal with this situation :( It's actually so hard on me, that my nerves and my anxiety only go away when I am halfway across the world away from him and safely tucked in Zephos' arms... Hang in there hun. If you need a listening ear on this matter, shoot me with a PM.

There is basically no way I am not getting a rampaging case of food poisoning tomorrow. I will hope for the best but what happened was I ran my 18 miles – finally got that beast looming in the closet and shanked it (the 18 miles) -- but the side effects of doing something like that is you wish to lay in a cozy bed, eating fried chicken.
Another side effect is that you lose track of time and fall into blissful sleep real easily. So I kept eating the fried chicken and found out, after doing that funny after-intense-run walk, it'd been out for 8 hours. I've been sipping lime juice and eating ginger to try to get rid of it. Maybe I'll get lucky and won't get it.

So apparently bears can jump pretty high. Woke up this morning, got out some cereal and looked outside. There were two cops with rifles/shotguns/tranquilizer(?) guns. One of them kept pointing at something, so I got up and, surprise! A brown bear was just chilling in my yard.
And then he/she saw the cops and jumped over the dividing wall into our neighbors yard.
For a city that gets so many bears from the mountains, that was my first bear sighting.
-

Yep .
And before you say the obvious, no money.
-
Maybe I will go to the League of Legends championship that will happen on friday.
Huun, maybe I will quit my job, I want new experiences in the area.

Another successful day of manipulating my supervisor into to doing what I want.

No Maan, you crazy, you have to hide that image.
Is bad to post that kind of stuff :ninja:

I've been waking up at night now and then because my legs have been especially itchy/rashy. I think last night I scratched my ankles too hard; I woke up this morning with them all sore, and they hurt when they come into contact with anything.
-
I need to stop bending my left leg and keep it straight seriously… it keeps hurting adn I bent it last night when I was tryna sleep and it frikken hurt @ , @;
Guess that's what happens when you finish college and spend most of your days panicking about University sitting around on yer ass. -
I was so overwhelmed by depression and listlessness that I called in sick and stayed home. Spiraling down properly for the first time in ages.

Oh dear. Has something been on your mind (forgive me for not keeping up with the thread)?

I'm not qualified to comment but, well, I feel like I should.
So, tell me about your childhood.

Unexpected argument on the comments of a Smosh thing on Facebook.
If anyone has spotted it you'll spot it easily.it spawned a mass argument with a friend which led to me unfriending and blocking them, and also some mass rage for me in general… I'm still so pissed off right now.

I just quit tumblr about 10 minutes ago because I can't stand all the stupid life morals they have. They don't accept other opinions and lord help you if you post an unpopular opinion.
There was a post about racism that just did it for me. I'm done with this site. I'm keeping my account though in case I want to look back on my posts.I'm still mad about that post and many others but I think I did the right thing and I'll be happy about this in the future.
…I just had to rant >_>
(gonna watch some gintama to get this out of head hell yea)

Lmao. I'm glad your first bear sighting wasn't "oh god he's running right at me what the fuuu-AAAAAHHHH" and instead seemed rather, as you put it, chill.

Friend: Hey ! let´s meet and chat a little ? Me: Why not ?
Well, the "little" part was a lie, from 09:00 to 16:00 we were talking and talking and talking. We even went to a park.
Now, to get ready for the cosplay event that will happen saturday, I will put my cirno plushie in my backpack.

Jogging has once again gotten to where it's pleasant, satisfying, yet challenging. I believe I have overcome the hardest hurdle of the training.
Excellently peaceful seven mile run today. I was very happy with it because it was only two days after an eighteen mile run, and I was just not sore in the slightest. Running is as much of a musical adventure to me as it is an athletic one; it gives me time to bond with albums and artists that I adore.
-
I know I've said it before but I really respect the intensity and dedication of your training, demonic. Running is no laughing sport. It's grueling and demanding and you still rise to the challenge.
My applause, sir.~

Thanks, man. I used to think only, I dunno, 3 years ago that 5 miles was a lot. Once you repeatedly do something again and again, you somehow do get used to it. Running's very pleasurable now for me except for the stupidly long runs, like 15 miles+.
Eventually… very eventually, I'll hopefully be able to find a happy medium between lifting and marathon running. That's perhaps a few years away because I'll need the money to supplement the food I'll need, and perhaps Whey, etc.

My day so far has been OK at best.
Breakfast was decent; porridge with lots of black tea.
I had to wake up at 3:00AM (like I try to do every morning) in order to train my Taekwondo and Muay Thai forms. The training itself was good. The same as any other day, once the forms were out of the way and the actual workout begun it became a bit tiresome. The sea was calm, also. Not any note worthy rocking to put me off balance.
Once I had trained I had to wake up my family to start work. The haul was all in all not great, fish just weren't biting. I only had to harpoon one sucker, too. So again, not a great haul. Not very physically demanding either.
Lunch was good. Fish with rice.
Recently I've finished a photography course and I am now attempting to take some landscapes and other interesting photographs to sell to various companies that could make use of them. Including boat tour guides, etc. So that is how I have spent the majority of my day thus far.
Now I am just having some down time on the computer. I'm not feeling well today. I love my job, but I really cannot face fishing today. (For the first time in like 2 years I've said that.)

^ That sounds like an amazing day so far, Captain Emre!
I went to old Jaffa today. Started with the old Ottoman railway station at the start of the old line to Jerusalem. Then to the port, walk through the narrow cobbled streets up the hill and into the old market to have some Shakshuka. Then took a bus back. All before the start of Sabbath and the insanity of every shop, grocery, restaurant and public transport closing down.
Now to get back to planning my trip to Turkey!PS: Congrats zachri!

Pah… it happened again... I get in a good mood then I come on and someone's in a bad mood which worries me and sets me into negative mode again...
It happens all the time... I finally feel happy then bam... -
I decided I wanted to get a special edition 3DS xl. Either an Animal Crossing or Pikachu 3DS. Thing is, they've seemingly sold out in the US. And then I found them all over Cyprus' stores. Problems? Two. 1. They are priced at 250 and 220 euro respectively. Which means they are in the 300's of USD. 2. They are region locked and I am moving in the US next Summer so having a European region 3DS, would be… stupid. So I am frustrated :U And probably will wait for another version to come out since I don't really want a regular 3DS xl. I only had one Special Edition SP Advance before and it was a crappy pink one. I want something speeeciaaal ;-;
-
So I woke up at ~11PM
I noticed the power was out in my neighborhood, pitch black
I heard some weird noise I didn't recognize outside, and through my window saw some white light shining on stuff but whatever was causing it was out of my view
Half-expect to be abducted by aliens before dawn
At least my laptop is fully charged, so I watch horror and alien movies for a while, afraid to look towards windows
Power finally comes back on hours laterI'm such a paranoid alien junkie

Yeah that's normal for BOTH special edition 3DS xl. You can wait and pray that the US will get the special edition Pokemon 3DS XL once Pokemon X/Y comes out, but I wouldn't anticipate seeing either the Pikachu or Animal Crossing SE 3DS XL for cheap anytime soon. Gotta keep up with the times Chrissie. You snooze, you lose.

Tries to have mango

Didn't really expect it since I kept seeing them all over Cyprus sitting on the shelves gathering dust. Even the Zelda special edition 3DS Europe got, is STILL around over there. Of course by the time I arrived in the US they were already sold out from what I gathered from the people posting online. Have been looking for one since I got here and today I just gave up. If the ones in Cyprus were cheaper, I'd buy one just for the sake of having the special edition in my collection even with the region lock shit
-
I found something that rivaled Captain Ugly's picture.
Shit it's cute
-
Oh yeah the Animal Crossing one was sold out FAST (and then resold for ridiculous prices). Seems to be a common thing here. So pay close attention because I'm sure another special edition 3DS XL should show up sometime but give it a few months. Funny thing is I still see a TON of the pikachu special edition ones here in Asia available. But NOPE, not in the US. Nope…we got a bunch of opportunists buying a whole bunch of them and reselling them at stupid prices.

So much cuteness I will explode
OT: Bad news.
The librarian of the night period put a new rule in the library that makes impossible for students to borrow/open books.
She said: There´s a lot of books in bad shape in the collection, clearly the students don´t have the capacity to have books.
So I said: "This is anti-professionalism, it is like a surgeon refusing to operate a person because the person is ugly."
What is the point of a library that no one can read ?….At least I will quit this job in august.

Maybe the librarian holds it open and turns the pages for them?

Seems lady luck is throwing me a bone. Walked out of my local casino with $13.35 in winnings, and I won $30 on a scratchoff. :D

Clearly it's time to invest in 43 lottery tickets.

Thanks to my enjoyment of the Skip Beat manga, and after being inspired by the noticeable lack of (non romantic) skip beat amvs on youtube,
i decided to download the anime and start making AMVs again, hoping for this little project to re-ignite my passion for montage making.Best decision ever. Everything is coming back to me and i feel creatively renewed.
I've been making MLP videos for about a year and a half, and the pool of ideas has pretty much dried up by now.
Switching back to anime videos has done my creative drive a world of good.I'm stunned by how well the video is already coming together, it's like all the experience i gained from the past year and a half has bumped me up a few levels.
This bodes well. Very well indeed. :) -
Who said they could use ?
So what's the point of the library even being there to begin with ?
Or is thit just applied to students/at night ?
-
Come on, brain, it's 9pm. You have until 10am tomorrow to memorize this stuff that you've heard before twice already.
This can't be all that hard!
And you, motivation, don't you dare ditch me again! This is the last exam for this semester and I know it's not important and we don't need it either way, but for God's sake, try to do something for it! -

I know, right ?
She wants to preserve the books by not allowing the students to use the library.
And yes, only at night, the morning students can use the library (cause I let them) , but "I can't" let them use because of that rule.
