Probably fake or doesn't work correctly, I got to GBA temp from time to time and only now they seem to have cracked the 3DS and said a hack migh be possible later this year.

Also, just realized why they called it Pokemon X & Y. Because, when they release Pokemon Z (which, with Gen 6, I see a 3rd game and not a sequel), it will be X, Y, Z–the 3 axis used in the creation of 3D...stuff.

We really migth be able to customize the kid has sunglasses on in some picture and off in others, oh and the running shoes are rollerksates now apparently cool.

Bedamn my lack of fangasming, but out of all that interested me was the Grass starter. I get the feeling that this game will represent France or maybe just greater Europe. In any case, anybody got any expectations for new Eeveelutions? My hopes are on Steel.

I can't say I'm much of a fan of the new starters either, to be honest, although the graphics look very nice.
Even with the 3D look I've been wanting to see for years, it, like gen 5, somehow doesn't seem to do much to rekindle my waning interest in the series.
For now, I think I'm going to wait and see for a bit longer before I decide to buy or not buy it… -
Not too fond of the Grass starter (but that's okay because I never choose Grass anyway) but Froakie looks neat and I wonder how Fennekin will differentiate itself from the Vulpix line (inb4 Fire/Fighting). That flying Legendary looks pretty cool, I must say.
Some of the environments like the forest look really neat, but it's still very sad to see yet another franchise that I've followed leaving behind sprites. Ah well, looking forward to playing this baby come October.

The Fox uses an attack that looks like Confuse, so Fire/Psychic.
It'll still have a Fire/Fighting third form.

Eh, the bird looks like Y to me? The deer's antlers are in the shape of an X, and even the X of the logo looks like it belongs to the deer rather than the bird. Which is totally awesome, by the way, since the deer/elk/whatever looks like the coolest new Pokémon since… Dialga? No, even further back than that. Since Lugia.

Froakie is my dude, I'm gonna be all over her. Chespin also looks cool and Fennekin I don't care about but she balances the whole critter cast out.

They're just the same old kind of legendaries as always, but does anybody ever really care that much about legendaries anymore or is it just my own apathy. Since Ruby and Sapphire I just kind of see them and go "yeah this sure is a boxart" and never think much past that.

I care about them. I don't use them for the most part (except for zapdos) but I love to catch them in game and they were pretty cool in the story of Black and White.

Still debating whether I wanna get Black again, move on to Black 2 (it doesn't feel right), or just wait for X and Y. I feel like pokemon can be easy to burn out on if I don't pace myself but X and Y trailers are killing me here, givin me that urge that crave that only critter catchin can fix

Man and here I was hoping for REAL character customization… That's always been one of the things on my list that has to happen in Pokemon for it to become even better...
another one being making a fighting game version of it so it's not only turn by turn combat... like if anyone has played this, it's a fan made Pokemon fighting game… real fun too, so I think it would be real nice to have in one of the Pokemon games (maybe not a main one, but like a side one, like they did with Pokemon Pinball etc.)
the last being them making a whole game with all the generation in one package and you choose which region you wanna start off... but that's all dreams I guess...Anyway, doubt I'll buy this since I don't even own a 3DS and haven't played any of the other recent games since Ruby/Saphire...

That's certainly the least iconic Pokemon logo I've seen. Anyway, the transition to 3D looks great and I can't wait to do all my forest adventuran' in 3D. Agreed on the starters being great, except I don't care for the grass starter.
I know it would reduce the fuck-yo-shit-up potential, but I would really prefer if that legendary deer's horns weren't skyscraper sized.

I don't use them in my playthrough but I like to train some after and do some legendaries vs legendaries battles, that might have been the reason why Gamefreak is adding more and more legendaries.
I do use trio legendaries that are basicly as strong as Dragonite for example(even weaker maybe), I used Terrakion in one of my games.
I just hope hey don't flood the game with legendaries again we got 3 TRIOS last region, Kamis, Musketeers and the big game cover legendaries, 5/6 legendaries is enough.

I missed out on pokemon on the ds and just recently found an emulator to play diamond and black on. I may buy black 2 now and a 3DS soon enough just to play pokemon X and Y as that looks like a ridiculous leap up.

I know it's not really as important, but I've always loved games where you can create your own characters :p I don't know why, it's just makes the game that much better since you can go as unique as you want… it could make online fights more interesting right? seeing different faces instead a copy of yourself...

There could be a "Z" and it could be a sequel. There might not be a X or Y 2, but just a single sequel called Z.

X, Y and Z are the coordinates axes used in a three-dimensional space.
This game is making the shift of the main series to a 3D setting. And it's for the Nintendo 3DS.
They're pretty much following a theme there.

I'm probably going with Frogger this time, though my opinion may change with spoilers of the evolutions.
I might just have to finally put money down for a 3DS finally. Pokémon games always make for a fun diversion. Plus, I'm also interested in the Luigi's Mansion game coming out.
