Ah. I'd guessed it was gonna be vaguely similar to Phione and Manaphy, but never mind, then.

I don't think that it is a new form of Mewtwo.Just another Pokemon.

I'd be pretty shocked if it wasn't just them hyping up new forms the way they always do. Especially since it obviously coincides with the movie mewtwo is going to be in. It's possible it'll be something brand new, but I really, really doubt it
-
It's weird that they didn't just say it was Mewtwo if this is indeed a new forme, though I'm still pretty sure it is, in fact, Mewtwo.
Either way, yeah, it looks a lot cooler now than it did on the movie posters. Looks kinda like a zora.
-
The only other option I see here is that Mewtwo somehow made a lesser version of himself, like Manaphy has Phione otherwise, the movie says we will see MEWTWO true power and that he is awkening in the movie, implying he is going to forme change or evolve(I doubt it would evolve).
So if its a new pokemon not a forme its either an evolution or like I said a lesser forme and that true power is Mewtwo being able to create them.
So Mewtwo is Frieza, creates his mini Cell, that look like Kid Buu, Dragon Ball vilans done.
If it wasn't Mewtwo related why would they show Mewtwo story along with this "NEW POKEMON" when showing this " NEW POKEMON".
-
Well that was underwhelming.
-
here is a clear pic of it. Reminds me of Kid Buu but with a longer head tail.

also a video

fuck, I'm a sucker for fingers that are a different color than the arm. the design isn't terribad, to me.
I just question WHY mewtwo needed a new form all these years later…

It's easy to speculate that he's part of the plot. The Japanese X/Y logos have a double-helix DNA strand on them, and Mewtwo is the Pokemon most associated with DNA.
-
His new name shall be…Mewbuu...
-
-
I kind of prefer Majin Mew as posted earlier
I kinda like Mewbuu because it sounds similar to Mewtwo….but Majin Mew works too

aside from, you know, Deoxys, who has helixes for arms.

Whoops. I forgot about him.
Although Deoxys represents DNA in a completely different way than Mewtwo. Design and Natural Transformation vs. Splicing and Genetics.

It's mutation either way. Deoxys was initially virus that mutated when it was hit by a laser beam (according to Pokédex)
Mewtwo was created by cloning and mutating the cells of Mew.
-
Mewthree is a clone of Mewtwo, who himself is a clone of Mew. So it's Cloneception, you see.
At least that's what I'm calling.

Assuming that Majim Mew is really Mewthree and not a secondary mutated form of Mewtwo
-
We should just call him Kidtwo for now. Cuz its a terrible pun and it fits.
-
That vide reminded me how Zangoose is really in need of an evolution.
-
Fake as hell, and I more or less know what image the dude who made this took to create Mewtwo new form.
lol well guess its not "fake as hell" as you put it after all. Its always best to keep an open mind about these things
Glad it turned out to be legit, i like the new form and hopefully it will give mewtwo a reason to return to smash bros now.
-
Well i guess we have our next smash bros representative. People want mewtwo but acknowledge we need a rep of the latest generation. Mewbuu fits perfectly
-
well at least we know now how the movie will go:
! Frieza loses to Cell and his "mini me's" then buu apears and defeat's cell and his "mini me's" while yamcha see's that on the sidelines with super saiyan puar.
-

I dont think they work like that, they decided it would be cool to give it a new form and did it.
-
I can accept the thing, but I'd rather it to be Mewthree, product of another experiment (hell, even mew.5 or something, one of the failed ones) rather than another Forme.
I think that the only ones that change form actively and I'm ok with that are Giratina and Deoxys, because with them it makes sense, weird dimensions dark god and space virus alien thing go hand in hand with change. A stable clone from over 10 years ago doesn't. Well, Rotom also makes sense, and It's fun to have a battle washing machine.
I never got Shamyn, Meloetta, Keldeo and the ice dragon's (Kyurem?) 2 changes. Oh B&W 2 brought Tornadus, Landlordus and Thundorus or whatever their beast forms.
And for Arceus's sake, Arceus and Genesect are just color changes, they barely count.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Well, Meloetta's is an in battle form, so it doesn't count.
-
Kid Muu .
-
Maybe he is going to be more like Deoxys…or rayquaza.

The whole thing with Kyurem was that its supposed to be the empty husk of the old god dragon when Reshiram and Zekrom split.
-
Well I can life with it … Hope it is an evolution though
-
-
Well, there weren't any fusions until BW2.
-
Who's the guy in the midle? -
I like how new mewtwo is essentially what would happen if Freeza fused with Buu in DBZ
-
Why ist Newtwo about half the size of Kid Buu?

Ah thank's to answer.
So in short is screwed. -
Well, there weren't any fusions until BW2.
If you want to be technical Slowbro is a fusion pokemon.
-
I like the name Mewjinbuu the most.
-
-
The more I look at Mewtwo-Majin-buu-pun, the more I think he looks like a Sonic character.
An aside:[hiDE]
It's funny cause it's true[/hiDE] -
Well Sonic characters seems to take their inspiration from Dragon Ball so there's that..
-
hey, that actually looks pretty good. Not my favorite design or anything, but way better from what I thought first when I saw it on some poster, where they zoomed onto his face, and he looked like some nightmarish fusion of Mewtwo and a dragon (they didn't show his body, so that protrusion on his head looked like some freakishly long neck).
-
Tell that to Larvesta.
Despite his title of "Sun God", Volcarona isn't considered a legendary pokemon like Ho-Oh or Heatran. Besides evolving he's also capable of breeding, which no current legendary is able to do.
-

Manaphy ?
-
@RobbyBevard:
Manaphy ?
Except Manaphy doesn't really breed. It just copulates and then produces a useless blue turd known as Phione.
-
Tell that to Larvesta.
Larvesta is not a legendary Pokémon because ot can evolve. Volcarona is not a legendary Pokémon either since it evolves from Larvesta.
Also Manaphy only "breeds" with Ditto, and It only produces Phione, not Manaphy.
-
What about Heatran having a gender?
-
Tell that to Larvesta.
Larvesta isn't a legendary pokemon but yeah they changed stuff before, so making a legendary evolve is possible in the future.
-
Most legendaries have have too high base states for an evolution.
