Shit, CC is ugly, pretty similar to Moria´s Shadow´s Asgard. Usopp as usual, first he hides, then plays the badass. I liked how Vergo has been hung like laundry, the reference to DD´s past made me curious (question to Aohige or CC, does it really say past?)

Was an ok chapter. I enjoyed it more than last weeks but it still didn't really do much for me.

I just find it funny how much worse Zoro's sense of direction seems to have gotten since pre time skip, out of all the things he needed to be trained for this is the most important, as on a way to a fight he could get lost :P

死国　usually read as shikoku, like the prefecture 四国 in Japan (And that's why a lot of Japanese posters are making fun of the prefecture right now on 2ch lol)
but here it should be read as Shinokuni for obvious reasons. It means Nation of Death or Land of Death.

Hopefully next arc we'll finally be able to see one of the Straw Hats finally go all out.

I'm all for them being pretty powerful right now, but hopefully Oda's very careful with this. Too short and it seems as if the 2 years weren't enough. Too long and it just becomes annoying.

**The intensity at the end of this chapter is ridiculously outstanding that my mind has been blown into next week and I have to wait till then for me to retrieve it. The look on Luffy's face after seeing what Ceasar did to his men as Ussop's glorious speech synchronized with Luffy's movement into the epic attack set-up at the last panel foreshadows a new move…..hopefully.. :ninja: I cant wait to see what types of gauntlets emerge out of those corridors.

Zoro's lost joke was pretty funny, the rest of that scene seemed more of the same jokes though.

I remember people saying this is Chopper's big moment to heal Mocha, so I felt it was kinda anticlimatic and kinda rushed if it was meant to have a big payoff. Then again, I didn't really see that cliffhanger with Mocha "dying" as a huge Chopper moment either so eh.

Interesting to note that Law doesn't seem to know about Doflamingo's past despite the "assumed" lot of time they spent together. Looks like Law might not have every variable calculated after all. I'm guessing it'll involve the "young master" stuff during his big reintroduction, maybe even possibly a connection with a Yonkou?

So the arc really is wrapping up. CC's true face is revealed to his subordinates. I did like the stockholm syndrome part where they trusted him enough to do what he wants, and how that backfires.

I really got the Moria vibe when I read the spoilers, but dang CC looks cool in that form even with the broken nose.

And yes, Usopp did have a bigger purpose this arc, but it isn't taking out fodder. Slight disappointment aside, I'm glad that his separation from the rest of the crew will play a part (controlling the operation panel).

And Usopp giving a cool speech about believing in Luffy is more in character than him taking out fodder randomly.

@Aohige. My guess for why Usopp is gearing up to fight at the end is he's getting ready to take on the fodder to get to the control panel, but I doubt that fight will happen given Luffy is about to kick some butt so the fodder will gladly let Usopp do his thing.

That said though…c'mon. CC could so just take out Luffy right now. He has super gas that will Pompei you. It really is another one of those "the villain could easily win, but the good guys have to win so...". My guess though is that next chapter will be a bait and switch and the fight continues (why else end on this cliffhanger of CC about to be defeated instead of him just getting defeated otherwise?)

Yes, does seem like this arc is coming to a close. Dof is getting foreshadowed a lot though YES!!
Usopp was pretty cool here dispite not having a fight, liked his speech.
