For me personally, I don't care if they are dubbed or not. It's nice, of course, but it doesn't ruin my experience at all. Now, skipping endings on the other hand…

I'm worried that, due to future song lengths and possible copyright issues, that we never again get any dubbed songs. It wouldn't surprise me at this point. My biggest fear now is that Dear Friends won't be dubbed.
I'm actually expecting it, really.
In fact, the only song I'd expect to dubbed at this point would be We Are and it's numerous remixes.

Nma is basically the same thing in Japanese. It's basically a pause before one speaks. He says "well" in this clip, which serves the same purpose.

Honestly I think we're all a bit disappointed about Jerry Jewell's absence, but do keep in mind for these guys having a role in such a big series, it puts them on the radar for more stuff. I mean if you look at the track record for Jerry Jewell, he's been in so much stuff, but Alex Organ has one notable credit now: Norway (Hetalia).

It's a shame to hear that Jerry Jewel won't be voicing Kaku in the dub. Guess this increases the chances of him voicing Brook.
@Zephray I've heard nothing back yet, but I'm going to keep checking. Wouldn't hurt if we all twitter bombed them until we get an answer.
There is hope that the insert songs (like Dear Friends) might still be dubbed, because the Korean Dub of episode 312 just aired a couple of months ago and they were able to dub it. I think the rights for insert songs are different than regular openings and closings, in that they are treated like BGM (background music), but we'll see.
But now that I think about it, we've actually had A TON of songs dubbed for One Piece. 4 openings, 13 endings (+an extended version of "Memories"), 1 insert song and 1 movie ending. That's 19 songs! So we should be appriciative of what we have already. Even the whole Dragon Ball franchise only got 12 songs dubbed. That's quite an accomplishment from Funimation I've got to say.
We've only had 4 openings dubbed.
For all we know, they may not be bothering with the songs because they think we don't care about them. So if you do care, let them know right now.

Charlene replied to one of wjbraden's Tweets with the regular "licensing issues" response. I assume at this point the songs will never be dubbed again. Which is a real bummer for me. I always had a blast listening to the songs dubbed into English…
