Well that was rather unexpected.
Whoever says he's betraying Luffy - lies.
He gave them a two hour warning.
He even said that whatever he'd do would make the island unsafe.

Chapter 681: "Luffy Vs. Master"
-
-
It has to be tekkai because he said Luffy hates those guys.
-
Question: What do you get if you combine Daz Bones, armament haki and tekkai?
-
And I thought I wasn't blind, dude are you kidding me I'm saying that even that panel doesn't prove that his leg got broken what was his reaction after that?
clearly constipation. they haven't found a toilet since arriving on PH :ninja:
-
It has to be tekkai because he said Luffy hates those guys.
No Sanji said this type of guys… Vergo betrayed his comrades and that is exactly what Luffy hates...
-

HURRY UP NEXT CHAPTEEEEEEER!He going to eventually do it. He wants to be Pirate king too.
-

:ninja:
!
-
well it can be that vergo is using haki. why i say this is because luffy always say iron armament or something like that so maybe vergo haki is just strong
-
No Sanji said this type of guys… Vergo betrayed his comrades and that is exactly what Luffy hates...
He was just talking about his body then said that.
-
I love Sanji getting in 2 Diable Jambe kicks sending Vergo flying into the wall. Sanji being able to hold is own was certainly expected, a repeat of Kizaru would completely ruin the point of the time skip. As for the cracked shin that was certainly unexpected but I suppose it should be expected of a VA who also broke Tashigi's jaw. The fact that Sanji kept going and continued to kick with that same leg shows his training did him good. The toughest enemy so far since the time skip and Sanji is the first up and holding his own, I love it.
This isn't the first time Sanji received broken bones and certainly not the last. Funny it was also another kicker(Mr 2) that dealt him his broken bones before.
-
Well,Law said that by kidnapping CC,he wanted to cause "confusion".
But I doubt that CC's capture would cause such "confusion".
So,I guess that "confusion" is about the S.A.D room and turning NW into chaos. -
He was just talking about his body then said that.
See the previous panels where Sanji sees how much the G5er trust him and still think it is a fake… But if you think that way... Well OK. CP9 did the same
-
Holy crap, that cliffhanger. Great chapter!
-Oh, so that's how G5 looks like, cool.
-Ceasar has some really interesting techniques, love the flame sword.
-Wow, the wall Monet made took a Jet Gattling, that's crazy. Whatever the wall is made up is some strong material.
-Doflamingo is gonna kill Monet if something happens to Ceasar, so she's part of his crew perhaps?
-Ooh, Vergo has an iron devil fruit perhaps?
-Damn that last panel. Just what the hell is he scheming? It's a good thing there isn't a break next week.I'm a little annoyed that the Tashigi thing was brushed aside like that, but she's still conscious, so she isn't at least that weak.
I think Sanji was referring to tekkai. But he has the color of armament.
-
Fuck yeah that's the Sanji I love!!!
-
Oh yeah Jinbe! God I love that guy! So he is already in the new world and apparently not too far from the Straw Hats. As much as I would love for them to meet up I doubt it's happening before Whole Cake. What's interesting is what Caribou is going to do while imprisoned. If his higher up is indeed Doflamingo that would be the perfect place to spill the beans about Shirahoshi, at the same time Vergo is probably going down here and now. So unless they are imprisoned together I would imagine Caribou would keep the secret to himself. Though he does seem cowardly enough that he would blurt it out, resulting in the government suspicious of FI, plotting against them during the reverie.
-
BTW If I would have one wish for fights… I would hope that Sanji could end this fight alone... And no matter if he loses or not... I just want to se it after this chapter.
Dunno if Smoker would be that interesting against someone as Vergo and his fighting style, even if it most likely will happen for sure... And well it would be too expected after all.
Maybe Sanji will hurt Vergo much that Smoker hasn't that much of a problem after it
-
Things are moving forward and this was a much needed action packed chapter.
But Luffy was so uncool, Caesar shouldn't have give him so much trouble and escaped at the end. On the other hand how did Luffy related Joker to Do Flamingo with just some words by Monet? Either Law gave him that info beforehand or that was a very un-Luffy deduction.
-
this page http://www.mangareader.net/one-piece/681/17 2nd row panel #1 from right what is cracking?
-
I think Smoker believes Vergo to be where Law is since Law said in the flashback that he will retrieve his heart and that Smoker should keep his hands off CC. Rather convenient of course, Law´s position is broadcasted and Smoker has a map in his hands, so it is not unlikely that he is on his way to the S.A.D. room. The problem is rather whether Sanji vs. Vergo will be finished by them or by the coming gas.
-
He was just talking about his body then said that.
Of course not, do you really think the strawhats had some kind of evaluation after Enies Lobby.
Luffy: "Phew, I sure hate those Rokushiki users, tekkai is a bitch.."
Sanji: "It sure is.."
entire crew: "hahahaha oh Luffy.."Luffy's motto is NEVER BETRAY NAKAMA
Vergo just slaughtered all his nakama after working so long together. If you missed that point after 681 chapters that it's all about nakama then I wonder if you were able to understand the more deeper plot points.

Law told Luffy who Joker was earlier.

i bet law told luffy joker = dofla off screen
-
Welp. Safe to say, Vergo maybe based on another Street Fighter 3 character. [http://media.giantbomb.com/uploads/0/1054/549596-q_big.jpg
J](http://media.giantbomb.com/uploads/0/1054/549596-q_big.jpg)ust his hands when he got smashed into the wall, and his "Mass of iron" body.

Hey so, this is kind of funny… It seems Sanji is fighting a maiden as Virgo is the maiden. Although I'd like to point out that the Zodiac sign Virgo is comprised of a "maiden" and a "bird" since it's a double-bodied sign.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virgo_(astrology)
And so anyways. Slightly related:
Even though the story of icharus doesn't relate to Virgo, I dont think, I'm pretty sure Monet has a similar backstory/dream. I mean, if she really has a snow fruit, and if her wings are snow. Thats just way too perfect. I bet Monet's dream is to go to Sky Island. Idk, Im really just saying random stuff. I've forgotten a lot about greek myths though(I used to be super into Greek Mythology after I read the Percy Jackson series.), plus you can draw connections anywhere. Maybe somebody else will be able to branch off this? Also this isnt the only VA named after a Greek constellation.

he tells them in this chapter,Also, Sanji looks to be on par with Vergo so maybe they won't finish the fight and Smoker will stop Vergo.
-
1 kick and bone cracks? So strong.. but after that the fight seems like equal.. And the gas is coming..
Sanji said Vergo's a mass of iron.. and he stick everything in his mouth.. 80% his DF is Paramecia - Magnet!!
Or maybe he's a new type of Pacifista@"@, the PX that can thinking like normal..Law.. He always has one step higher than usual..
Why can't he just be an Iron Man?
Would explain the awesome facial hair and the shades -
We had already Mr 1
-
I don't get it. Sanji cracks Vergo's leg but still lost in terms of momentum?
-
Wait so Jinbe and Caribou's going to G-5, he's going to lock him up?
-
http://mangastream.com/read/one_piece/61753499/1 Mangastream's version is out.

Caesar isn't really giving him trouble. He's difficult to pin down, sure, but Caesar is entirely outmatched which is why Monet stepped in and took over.

what are her talons made of in this theory?
-
A few questions
- whose leg cracked when Vergo and Sanji's legs met?
- does Vergo have a DF?
- is Vergo using CoA (or do we know atm)?
- Luffy said CoA Koka but his arms didn't turn black wtf?
-
well its not easy to come back when you leg gets broken like that
You mean as Zoro who came back after his whole torso got chainsawed by mr 1
Or Usopp who got his entire face structure broken and still fought
Or Sanji who had several broken bones against Mr2 but still could fight to the end and beat himSanji maybe got damage but he still is able to fight not even got pushed a tiny bit back by the kick of Vergo. So far nothing is settles and both aren't even shpowing all… No Diable Jambe or Vergo's bamboo stick and abilities.
Seriously I don't think Sanji will win, but to say the leg is broken that's it is for One Piece standards a weak argument
-
Thanks alot,Luffy's going to be seeing Dofla soon, my guess.
-
what are her talons made of in this theory?
Law made them! Well, attached them.
Maybe her wings are also real feather and Law just grafted it on. This gives her another reason to join laws crew, and a good reason too. Like a reason as big as any of the straw hats reasons for joining Luffy.
But, Meh, this is mostly just theories based on theories. -
I don't get why everyone is just assuming that Law is betraying Luffy.
I mean, he specifically told Luffy that he was going to do something that would make the lab unsafe… And when he first suggested a Pirate Alliance, he told Luffy that in the island there was a key that could throw the New World into chaos. So how exactly is he betraying Luffy? He is doing exactly what he told him he would do.
Now, I'm not saying that Law isn't going to betray him in the future... I'm pretty sure that that will eventually be the outcome of this alliance, since they are both after the One Piece. But I definitely don't think he is betraying him already.
-
I'm looking forward to the missing conversation between Monet and Luffy. He's putting on his hat already which probably means there's been some sort of negotiation or new information. :)

sanjis bone shatters
he's using tekkai + coa from the looks of it
^
pretty sure oda had it turn black to show haki was being used, when luffy used it to land a punch in the previous chapter it didn't go black either -
Quick question, has there ever been an arc this long (26 chapters and counting) that hasn't had some kind of flashback?
I guess the War, but even that had flashback dispersed throughout (Oars and his hat, Ace meeting Whitebeard, flashes of Whitebeard's past), even if it didn't have a major one.

You're damn right, Law aint betraying Luffy just because Caesar says so or because he smiles at the end!!
-
the greatest mistake would be handing caribou to the world government, he knows what shirahoshi is, now the world govt will know what and where one of the ancient weapons is, they dont even need to read poneglyph, nice going oda, this shouldn't have been in cover story
The place seems to be abandoned since it said 'Forgotten', so I doubt he'd be able to hand him in.

We had a little Tashigi/Vergo flashback, and Kinemon will surely get one. Speaking of, Thriller Bark had more chapters than this before Brook's flashback started properly.

actually there was brownbeards flashback which talked about cc saving him and his crew and then having law come in also assist with ccs plan. I don't expect nothing big now though because this is kinda like a build up arc.

I doubt he betrays him now through. i see him doing in far in the future when he needs to.
-
Law always had his own agenda and is following it, I wouldn't call it a betrayment.
-
Something of note, when Luffy used his Gatling equipped with Haki it didn't turn black. Not the first time but at this point I think we can rule out Luffy's limbs turning black with every bit of Haki use.
Also Monet's I ice hut/igloo doesn't seem to be ice or snow at all, as Oda never drew ice like that before. It certainly looks and acts more like Mr 3's wax but what else acts the way flowing wax does that hardens? Cement?
-
Ineedtoliedown.
Someone invading this forum is irritating me…
Then again I have a headache so yeah.
Hurp.
just one thing - some people obviously don't read through things properly or don't look closely enough :I
just saying. -

1. The damage is clearly on the pin striped legs.
2. Probably, though he's yet to show it off.
3. For certain attacks. His haki attacks are yet to connect to Caesar.
4. It'll probably be fixed in the tank. -
i dont think Sanji leg was fractured,he just had a premonition due to observation haki(just like Luffy with Mihawk during the war)
