i got this hq print from one of my FAVORITE powerpuff girls scenes as a bday gift from a real hunk <3 its not dragoncon swag but im posting it anyway!
at the hard rock cafe in atlanta <3some of my favorite moments were hanging out in the hotel with everybody~ im glad i got to hang out with my sis for a day (and beat her at a game of mariokart). though i still think the funniest bit was being in the packed elevator and the door opens and there was no room for a lone zoidberg cosplayer, hahahaha.
im sad i forgot to get pics with pirateneko/catmonster. she's really awesome and chill and it was fun to swap stories lol. hopefully we can do something like this again next year

yeah it totally was! i knew he was going to be there but forgot, so when we stumbled on his table in artist alley, carter was a bit flustered haha. He was a really sweet dude though, he signed me a print and got concerned it wasn't drying right so he signed another one. He made sure to shake both our hands after we paid for our prints. :)
We went to see George Lowe (Space Ghost) and got front row seats for his panel. Fucking hilarious. SAFTEY TOE! Lots of great BBQ recommendations and he was just a really funny guy to talk to. Makes me wish i had watched more space ghost.
Other than that, we really didn't bother to see anybody else. Urbaniak was there but I heard the panel was kind of dull. We did however see Hershel (from walking dead) walking 3 feet away from us in the crowd at the walk of fame. that was a pretty cool random thing

Well the thing is that he isn't just extra huge in Finland, he's extra hugely into Finland. Obviously the size of the fanbase had something to do with how he fell in love with the place initially, but that's not really the big deal. He's just… a fan, basically. :P

I could never work at an animal shelter place. I love them all so much, I'd just make myself depressed. If i didn't have my current kitty, i'd love to do a foster home thing but all i can do now is just donate money :(
It's really not as bad as you'd think, though part of that may be due to the fact that I volunteer at a No-Kill shelter (save for very extreme circumstances such as if someone is really sick and the medication isn't working).
Besides, and this isn't an ego thing, I live very happily knowing that I've personally saved a few cats' lives (including one to my last roommate and his fiancé) through spreading the word about the shelter, helping take photos for our Petfinder page so they look more "adoptable", and spending a few hours a week just giving the cats love. You'd be surprised how important that last one is because not all the guys we bring in have had much social contact with humans and/or other animals but spend a bit of time with them and they really come out of their shells and become real cuddlebugs.
It's funny really, 2 years ago if I encountered a cat hissing loudly at me I would've backed the hell off. Now I just pick them up by their neck flab without flinching and rub their heads lol
