Had a chat with with a friend. She got upset when I said that I didn't care enough about FF13 to listen to anything related to the music of the game. She took an offensive and it turned into a mild argument. Apparently she still refers to me as that guy that use to troll One Piece haters on another forum years ago. It's obvious that I don't anymore, but it really set her off. She said she hated how dismissive I was over things I disliked, but I said that she wasn't any different. I bought up a conversation we once had when I told her why I liked OP so much, but she didn't seem to care and treated me like I was some fanboy that was shoving my fandom down people's throats, when I wasn't. I mean… she did ask me personally even though she does not recall the convo at all.

Now she feels bad and I know this because she was quick to go offline within the IM convo. Now I'm in a crummy mood too. I can't go back to work on my projects in full focus with this mindset. It just sucks.

in other news, like I said earlier, I got my Lit folder back, which also includes the One Piece poem I had written. Wally called it "very R+G-ish" :D I loved reading their comments (or in most cases trying to figure out what they wrote).

@ Mette, guess what? Remember the mafia story I wrote? Not the waffle house one but the other one? I got an A on it. Ole said he loved the suspense building. He gave me a 6/7 for characterizing your persona, though. It was probably cuz there's not a whole lot of depth to:

But the truth is too obvious for me to deny it any longer.

Wicked isn't coming here. I don't know whether it was and got cancelled, but I checked the event calendar and Wicked is nowhere on it. There's Westlife and random overhyped Korean band and other titles I've never heard of but NO. WICKED.

And I am seriously losing faith in my fellow citizens. The website in charge of all these events has a poll asking people what they want to see. The results make me sad. Sad sad sad. Link here.

My aunt is still keeping an eye on him but maybe he just got lucky and will only have the ugly bruise…...

Don't worry, everyone. Myself, my family, and our own house is perfectly fine, just smells like smoke.

From what I could see, the fire next door must've started in the basement, smoldered for a while before smoke started to truly billow, and by the time the fire department got there ('bout five minutes after my sister called 911) flames were starting to creep up the back of the house towards the second floor. But fortunately, the fire department took control of it pretty quickly. They didn't mess around; they went in and smashed the windows, cut a hole in the roof with saws to let the smoke out, the works. So, everything's fine on my part, and I don't think anyone's hurt at all.

The man who owns the building is one of the nicest folks around, so I feel bad for him, but the people actually living in there are loud, obnoxious white trash, so I have zero sympathy for them.

Oh man, I hate when shit like that happens. Used to happen a hell of a lot on my old computer. If I hadn't just finished my own Dr. Pepper, I'd beam some to you via internet ~~and subsequently destroy the electric workings of everything~~ to make you feel better.

What's worse is that, it was a pic of Danny Phantom I was planning on using as a sig once I finished it. ghkslad;gha;l Plus, that particular pose took me forever to get right. orz But luckily, it it takes a lot to piss me off, and even when I do, it wears off after a little bit. So I'm a lot calmer now. And I've stopped involuntarily growling. I just hope I can remember what exactly I drew.

That used to be my problem about two years ago when I still drew in shoujo. lol But once I switched to shounen that didn't happen so often.

Truthfully, I can bark, cluck, meow, hiss and growl. It's funny, because I've meowed at school before, and a lot of the time, the kids (and sometimes the teachers) thought that there was a cat in the classroom. My mom even thought I was our cat once. Though the only reason I do that is because I loved to imitated animals when I was little (and somewhere along the line I became rather good at it too) and it just followed me. Plus it's fun to confuse people.

Before the file closed, the internet window I had open to grab the oumaga link froze, so I had to open another, but somehow two opened, and then the one I chose to use was acting weird, and I kept having to refresh the page before I got the link. So yeah. lol Considering all that, I'm pretty calm right now.

I'm gonna start my redrawing of it right now~

Oh God no.
When I was still a sorta active artist a few years back, GIMP used to crash on me and freeze from time to time. I was saving while drawing so damn often, but GIMP still managed to find times when I forgot to save for a long period of time and froze.
I always had to close GIMP myself (which was even more painful) without any chance to get back what I had drawn since the last safe.
Horrible horrible HORRIBLE.
But I'm glad you managed to redraw it and-

Seconded! At my old school the computers were rubbish, so I learnt to save every few minutes to prevent losing work.
Glad you've been able to redraw it though, Sai :)

As for me, I finally got into the mood to write again, goodness knows how xD For months nothing seemed right but now ideas are flowing and I've got a few paragraphs written up :) I think it might be becuase this is a project I'm working on with a friend, and she's my motivation ^^

House 2: kitchen is one story away from me
