Had a great day today, I found a cheap shirt I've been wanting to have for ages and I visited a friend. :) It certainly gave me something else to think about while I was having a migraine, though luckily the meds have now somewhat kicked in and I feel relatively normal. Tomorrow I'm going to a ramen restaurant with two friends, I'll bring a camera to take pictures of the food~ :P

I've been feeling so feverish all day that all I could do was just sit in front of my computer, trying not to fall off the chair. I couldn't even chat with my friends or do anything constructive because of this. I hope this passes before my school starts on Monday.

At least I finished reading Hajime no Ippo, which was the "project" I chose to complete this summer. I loved the series and all, but I'm still a bit disappointed with myself. I mean, nineteen thousand pages in seven days. That's only like 2700 pages a day. I should've been able to do better. Tsk..

Awesome, I guess we'll be seeing you over in the Hajime No Ippo section come next chapter. Hope you feel better.

My day was mostly boring, fiddling around with my camera, buying some volumes of Hunter X Hunter, not too much happened. That is, until I talked to my best friend on Facebook just now. He just got out of basic training for the Air Force. This happened in our conversation:

Me: I laugh at my own jokes because I am lame.

Nick: Yes you are. Which is why we are going to running bro fist next time we see eachother XD.

I am still at home. Because I decided not to go for my 8am lecture. Partly because it's the introductory lecture and is thus less important. Partly because it's at 8am. And partly because I tried to sleep before 2am last night and just could not get to sleep for what felt like hours.

The opening hours of our law library have changed. It's now open from 8am-2am during workdays.
Just for the heck of it we decided to stay until 2am. Sooo, I've been there from 5pm to 2am now. I actually got some shit done, too, even though we spent about one hour just chatting and eating chips. Also, some random dude started talking to us and we spent like an hour talking about stupid stuff, not at all related to law. XD

The only thing I was terribly missing was actual food, not just chips and cake and stuff. :| I was already starting to get shaky and felt slightly sick.
But now I've ate a fat piece of meat and salat, so all is well again~

In other news, I'm getting increasingly stressed and frustrated. I got a reply about my appeal yesterday, it wasn't approved. It just said that. Not approved not approved not approved. Without a reason :( So I re-ordered my choices and sent it in again. Still waiting for a reply.

I don't know what to do if I don't get it I don't wanna do a special teeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerm

I'm currently typing on my new Dell laptop. Sooooooooooooooooo fast!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amazing! There's no lag! It's almost… too fast! Someone slow me down before I crash into the wall. damn, this is nice. Still feels weird to type, though. I'm sure there's bound to be some sort of drawback, but I have yet to discover it quite yet.

I'm watching documentaries on NatGeo. The one comming up next is on the massive culderia of lava in the supervolcano underneath Yellowstone National Park. This amuses me slightly, only because I did a reaserch report on it.

Went to the Dodgers/Phillies game today with a bunch of friends (Including my friend Mark, who has never seen a baseball game live despite living in the U.S. for a year now), which went from great when the Dodgers were up 6-0 to furious when the Phillis tied it up to apathy at how the Dodgers fucking suck. But we still love them.

Later on, we got drunk and watched the USA/Mexico "friendly" at a sports bar mostly full of Mexico fans. Actually got tense when Rogers was thrown to the ground by a Mexico player grabbing onto Roger's jersey and threw him to the ground which only got a fucking yellow, to which my friend says a rather racist thing about Mexicans and almost started a fight with some men cheering for Mexico if it wasn't for Mark telling them to calm the fuck down because he would take it to the streets (considering he's from Tottenham and has probably been in a couple of skirmishes with rival soccer fans).

Nothing else happened and right now (considering it's 1 am here) I am watching Craig Ferguson

Just really bad gastric, I think. It's 5pm and I've eaten nothing but half a cup of instant noodles, one sausage that I literally forced down my throat, two bites of a muesli bar my friend forced me to take, and biscuits. And this really weird bitter Milo (google it) that I threw away after four sips (and which made me feel even worse). And then I ate a few artificially sweets that also made it worse. I've been retching all day long. I'm fantastic at taking care of my body. \o/

Okay, so anyway. Today I went to my ~~second~~ first lecture! (I missed the actual first one due to… unforeseeable circumstances. :ninja:)

It was for this course called Einstein's Universe and Quantum Weirdness. Basically it covers two main components, relativity and quantum mechanics. Now why, you may be asking, would an Arts student such as myself be taking such a complicated-sounding module? It even has two lectures a week instead of the usual one!

Because

a) No final exam (huge plus)
b) The only tests are MCQ and open-book style - the prof called it 'impossible to fail'
c) Term paper: write a short fictional story related to the theories learnt. One of the best projects I've ever heard of. Recommended readings? H.G. Wells' The Time Machine, The Invisible Man, and others. (The alternative option is to do a book review, but come on.)
d) Star-gazing sessions. Yes, star-gazing sessions. With telescopes taller than me. And you get marks for attending.

So going for the lecture and hearing about all this made me feel a little better about the semester starting. Tomorrow's my lab module, which I fully expect to be the most intensive course I've ever had. Let's see how that goes.

Hrm, DLS, Animation, Yukino, Bound….yeah, I think I'm having trouble prioritizing.
