Right? I'll never understand people's desire to be 'normal.' Be like everyone else? How mind numbingly boring. D:
I agree with you completely!
Let's be extraordinary!

Well, as extrodinary as one can get while sitting at home being on the computer all day, lol.
But then again… /looks at L
I've been procrastinating on my damn philosophy presentation for goodness knows how many times, and it's (most likely) due tomorrow.
Also, stupid me leaving my dang umbrella in school. Had to use my maths book to cover myself from the rain.
I can't believe I start school tomorrow. O____o I'm going to be a first year student AGAIN, yippee! The first week is all spent on orientation and events organized by our tutors, such as a picnic on the first day. (I highly doubt we'll be able to have it though, since tomorrow is supposed to be flooded with rain) I also need to move all my stuff away and clean this summer apartment at the same time, so expect me to be extremely tired by the time weekend rolls around __
Which reminds me, I'm going to establish myself as a crappy student right off the bat since on Saturday I'm going to Helsinki and will stay there until Wednesday the 24th. I'm going to see Dir en Grey's concert on Tuesday and I haven't spent time in Helsinki in a long while, so I made myself a mini vacation~ Too bad I'm having it right when the ACTUAL classes start! Oh well, technically I already know the beginner's stuff so my presense isn't completely necessary… right? Right?
i agree about regular golf being boring, but "crazy golf" fun courses are the shit.
lol
At about 5am, my mother woke me up to help her pack her bags and put her bags in her car so she can go on her flight. I was asleep on the couch, so I never really took a shower. After actually taking a shower, I decided to goof off on the computer before I went back to bed.
It's like 6:30, and I have to be up at 7. I no longer see any reason to go to bed now. shrug
Now the question is: Do I play I play Starcraft 2 or X-Men Legends 2 while I wait for my ride to pick me up?
I'm buying my textbooks for this semester today, but to make the day better, I'M BUY MYSELF SOME EINSTEIN BAGELS!
Tried to sleep in, succeeded with the aid of a water bottle (idfk why but if I try sleeping in I get an iffy tummy D'X sounds stupid butyeah…)
then the sis is like 'GET UP' and I'm like '...wuh? why?'
turns out we had to put up balloons for my cousin who had a baby yesterday (tis a boy ; u ; called Ted)
so I was like
got dressed and all dat shit (not fast, mind you) and went over.
dern doggies tried to get the balloons o A o
but they didn't. yay.
and now we gotta wait for a text to see when they're coming back to put helium balloons up.
and all I've eaten is a small packet of chocolate fingers.
[/the height of healthiness at mornings]
and now I'm gonna get some lunch
or try and find something… uggghh
Well, I had lunch. And didn't have breakfast. Completely normal in my case.
I so want to read but I can't because I have to write and English letter about how Hungarians care about the environment:/ Well, I still have like 2 hours…
I wanna read! About Dragons. I want to read 4 books before school starts (I have like two weeks at most).
I just had my first (actual) day on the new school and I'm already in love with it, thought the campus is rather large and I already got lost - it took me a while to find the right classroom and I spent almost entire lunch brake trying to find the dressing rooms (you know, to take my working clothes there). Our both teachers seem so nice unlike the hags at high school and I cant wait until the practical stuff starts, thought I do like those long theory-based lectures too.
But while I'm loving school, being at home drives me insane. My both sisters are so damn annoying that I'd just want to beat the hell out of them, especially from my older little sister. This insanity has lasted so long that I cant help but to be amazed that my blood pressure was nearly perfect at schools health check.
finishes playing multiplayer on halo reach
lol, they rage so hard when you teabag them.
Watch someone come in this thread and think Sai-chan eats babies. :ninja:
That would be me o.0
As for my day so far, getting ready to sleepova at my Aunt's for the second night in a row. Tomorrow I go shopping in the city and I need to be at hers to arrive at the bus stop in time in the morning. As for earlier today, did some writing too, spent some time with my little brother (pics to come later) and have been running around between that trying to do a billion things at once~~
I'm looking for a new job. And it's not the easiest task to complete, believe me (especially if you're asfastidious as me).
Anyway, first I went to my favourite magazine store, where a very nice lady work (she also likes to sunbath a lot like me), too bad she said she already had a couple of persons hired so no luck over there, she directed me to a couple of other stores I could check out.
Later on I went to my favourite clothing store, and I think it went better! The owner said they were looking for extras. perfect, I said. I gave him my CV and he said they might call me.
Oh it would be perfect for me dat joab!
And Tomorrow I start at my new art school, gonna be sweet to paint once again.
my friends are watching "the descent" next to me.
i needed to lie down for 10 minutes because one of the scenes gave me a nasty stomach ache and fuzzy head rushes.
is that what you'd call 'feeling faint'? i'm not sure because it's never happened to me before.
it's weird because i can look at pictures of any kind of gore with no trouble at all, but when it comes to moving videos everything suddenly becomes 10x more scary or disgusting.

I can never watch anything like that because I get the images stuck in my head and promptly as a bodily defence end up passing out, and it's bloody annoying when something randomly reminds you of the images and you've gotta try not to think about it D'X
@Mr.333:
First day Back to College tomorrow, arrgh
At least I'll LOVE my classes. They are:
- Freshmen English: Composition & Reading
- Creative Writing
- Introduction to Literature
- World Mythology
Do I see a potential writer? Hmmmm….
lol charmed.
@ MDL yeah I'm pretty sure that's what you call it. happened to me when I watched that one stupid movie that was in camcorder perspective the entire damn time. Cloverfield! fuckin'… worst movie ever made. I got nauseous and sick from watching it. and I think I had food poisoning at the time so it was doubly bad. definitely don't envy the staff who had to clean that mess up. I couldn't even stay until the end. :X for some reason, dizziness while watching a movie at the theater isn't uncommon for me. It didn't really happen the last two times, but somehow I get headaches from it.

my dad wants me to create a packing list for what I need for college. knowing my luck with traveling, I'm gonna pack stuff and realize I forgot something important or useful when I get there. but I'm so antsy about moving in all on my own. has anyone here been to college yet that can advise me what to bring? holy shit though, 15 more days until I leave for my first year of college. :0
I bought a birthday present for my dad. Watched couple of flicks; planning to read a book. I figured out how to finish my college project. Yeah I am having a good day.
I'm back from English class.
There was one task (for starters) where I had to talk about something. Guess what was on the paper I choose.
Nuclear wars.
So I talked about Chernobyl.
Someone here living in London who would like to meet me tuesday to wednesday night?lol
I have to wait alone 5 hours in london for my train to brussel tomorrow. Sucks ass.
if you had packed me in your suitcase…~
nah but really, I'm sorry to hear that love. wish there was something I could do :/ maybe you can find somewhere safe and draw or sth?

Awww ;3; Wish I could hang out with you, even for 5 hours. Be patient love. I quite know the feeling… Oh the days I spent 5 to 9 hours waiting in Athens for my plane to Alexandroupoli. >3< Kinda sad they are over tho!
Been playing Smash again, trying to get some trophies of characters that only appear in the subspace emissary.
I've been trying to get Rayquaza FOREVER. And then it suddenly happened. There were TWO TROPHY STANDS AT ONCE. And I caught it. And I survived the level. AND HOLY SHIT my hands are shaking like MAD right now.
It's Monday, so of course it's a dreary and rainy day.
I hope to get some quality typing time this evening. Just one more chapter to go 'fore I hit my goal and update again. Brainstorming and writing stories can be very fun, but actually typing them up isn't.

Oh hush, I caught Galleom AND Rayquaza in about 15 minutes.
I'm darn proud of myself!
I had this page open as I sat on the phone with a transgender clinic because I planned on writing "hurray I'm going to get hormone therapy"
Except it ended with me getting put on a waiting list in regards to September because something about a new clinic and basically getting no information because the person a the desk was incredibly new.
So now all I have to write about is how I've spent two weeks trying to find any work at all since I've moved in and being depressed and feeling aimless. Which is for par for my occasional posts about myself.

Ah, that's too bad Hell. To say the least. Do they have some way of contacting you until they get their shit together? If not, at least September isn't that far away. You've waited this long after all, what's another couple of weeks?
The job market is tough, and I know you've had some close calls (no pun intended) so I know that makes it all the worse. At the very least, didn't your roommates give you a couple of months to be able to find a job? That at least gives you some time to find a job, and I'm sure your new roomies know you're trying. So it's not like they're gonna throw you out.
Just hang in there Holy.
Actually I may not make it to September because I can't really ask my housemates to try and give me a free month or something for rent. I already had the security deposit for rent covered by one of them (it was the price of one month of rent and I'll have to pay him back some day) and this month's rent I had my dad pitch in half.
But if I don't have a job by the end I may have to cut this whole thing short and just … go home. Like, it's pretty awful and I might be able to squeeze one more month in, but without a job, this is becoming a money sink that we can't really afford. So everything might end up rubber banding and everything becomes a joke again as I leave
lol

Oh Holy dear it sounds like things are rough. I know it might seem unreasonable to try and ask your housemates for another month but it might be the only option if you can't get a job by then. I can't really offer any advice on getting a job (other than not punching the employer who asks what your biggest flaw is) and I don't think there is an exact science to getting employed. It just comes down to luck. Some people are lucky bastards who can walk into a building and get a job offer (Note: hate these people), and some people try for months and nothing comes of it.
The only thing I can say is to keep trying and don't let it keep you down. You are a wonderful person ma'am. Just apply everywhere and ask your roommies for a little more time if it comes to that.
Did some driving practice. Nothing much, just practicing accelerating and stuff. Nearly missed the turn the first time drove over the lawn of the soccer field. I'm blind as a bat and don't pay attention to my surroundings. Yeah, I'll make a fantastic driver. :P We did hardly any work at the house. there's so much and yet so little to do. It's kind of sad how we mostly sit around when we get there instead of doing stuff. but now every scrap is out of my room.
I also saw Kitsune again today. He was crossing the road in front of the car, and as he did so, turned and stared right at me. After returning from the house, we saw a shady black guy with a doo-rag. Now before you call me racist, what is he even doing in a mostly white neighborhood, walking around like he's looking for something without a car, coming from the direction of the road? People don't do that. He was scoping shit out I tell you. then I had to be paranoid and envision everyone getting shot like swiss cheese. I thought I'd gotten over obsession with death thanks to Kenny. I've barely thought about it at all. So what's with my stupid imagination? and why are these townhouses so easy to break into? There's a giant freaking sliding door and window in the basement. None of the doors except bathrooms and the master bedroom have locks. Not that this is exactly a crime-filled neighborhood, but come on, locks should be standard. I'm tired of always having a bedroom with either no lock or no working lock.
Dammit all, she's on to me..
I just took a look at what my class schedule is going to look like this Fall. Not too bad. Three on Monday in the morning (but no eight o'clocks this time), four on Wednesday (the aforementioned three and a video class in the library in the early evening), two on Friday morning, and only one in the afternoon on Tuesday and Thursday.
Seems to work out pretty well.
Dammit all, she's on to me..
Kitsune, you have got to work on your stalking techniques. I am disappoint. Wait what am I saying? The only way you could be more obvious is if you came in through my window and– dammit why does this mouse cursor keep moving randomly? Meanwhile I've got to barricade my door that doesn't have a lock.
Summerslam was great… and LA was too..
seeing Hollywood and downtown LA near LA live and staples center was cool too
Pheeeeee-yeeeew.
Back from an extremely eventful vacation. Long story short I went back up to my grandparents cottage for the weekend. Then my parents, sister, cousin, and uncle, all met up on a ferry and went to Mackinac Island for a day. Rode bikes, watched guns fire, ate pizza, really a nice day. And a nice time away from all my troubles.
And to celebrate my return, I present to you all a brand new avatar.
Now I'm gonna go back a few pages and read about what I missed!
@marimo: I remember when I was first learning how to drive. I gets easier with practice (Advice from the man who's been pulled over 4 times on a major highway for speeding over 15mph).
(P.S. On the final test for your license if you go over 10mph it's an automatic fail)
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
@Crossword: Haven't received my schedule yet. Hopin' it's good though.

That reminds me, I should check if mine is already online … which it is, holy crap!
!
This doesn't include about 10 individual block courses, most of them on Saturday (which is why I included Saturday on that chart in the first place), and a lecture that isn't online yet.
Also, I have to be there at 8am at all times, otherwise I will NEVER get a parking space. It was ok during summer with a lot of people using their bikes, but it's really bad during winter.
Still, it's way, waaaay better than this semester's, which was a little something like this:
!
Again, plus various block courses, most of which were on Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday night.
why u no work IRC?? for some reason it stopped working for me just now. now what the hell am I supposed to do? I can't sleep at all…
Oh, we're comparing class schedules? Count me in! … as soon as my upcoming schedules hit the web. For now it's just school orientation.
I didn't sleep very well thanks to noisy neighbours, but luckily I don't feel tired! In fact I'm super excited! Gotta start curling my hair soon so I'll have my look ready before walking out the door. Yes, I have thought out everything from hair to clothes on my first day of school. No, I am not overthinking it. What made you consider that?
I haven't been talking to everyone on this site for a while, so I decided to VM 11 different people who I haven't really talked to a lot in ages.
Of course now I look like I'm trying to grab attention from everyone when I'm just trying to be friendly, but eh. :ninja:
Out of sheer lack of anything better to do right now, I'll share my schedule. :P

That's a lot of Japanese.
If you really want to learn the language, I'd recommend teaching yourself new things in addition to whatever you learn in class. Especially now where you're in a class where you can get immediate help from the teacher.

I was actually a little surprised when I first saw how much of my schedule was Japanese, but it makes sense because learning languages requires lots of practice and repetition. Since second languages are a requirement, I choose Japanese, mainly because trying to re-learn Spanish was a bitch and I basically quit after one day of class. Well not really. I was interested in learning awhile back but gave up because there was no place that offered courses. I'm not sure exactly how to go about teaching myself. Do you mean things like reading extra books?
Yeah, pretty much. There's online videos and such as well.
It doesn't have to be a lot of self-research but every little bit helps. When you've come to fully understand certain things, you can always move on to the next. Constant exposure helps you to become fluent. That's how it usually is.
Even as someone not intending to learn the language, I know some Japanese just from watching anime. =P
Perfect. Now I can watch One Piece without feeling guilty. It's research. :ninja:
I think most people who watch anime know at least one or two japanese words, intentional or no. lol
I'm taking Japanese 1 this year. I would've taken it last year, but they were doing a practice program for it last year to see how well it got off. Hopefully I'll get to learn more of it in college since this is my senior year.
@piratemarimo: Try watching it without subtitles. I assume you've already read the manga so you should already be aware of what they're talking about. But this will allow your mind to focus on the Japanese.
@Sai-Sai: Yeah, well I know more than two words. >=9
It's gotten to the point where I understand some pretty simple phrases and such so I might be able to understand a casual conversation. I'm just going to get lost if they start getting philosophical on me or something.
As for my classes, I have all of my classes on two days (Tuesdays and Thursdays) Intermediate Japanese from 12 PM to 2PM, Statistics from 2:30 to to 4:30 and Freshman English from 4:30 to 6:45. That and for the first month of school I will be working everyday I am not in school.
@Uncle:

Haha, same here. Though I don't know enough to get me by; just random words (like flower, red, or snake lol) and maybe a phrase or two ('are you alright?' 'I'm alright,' 'thank you,' 'excuse me'). But other than stuff like that, I have no clue about the language. So I'm hoping taking this class will help expand my horrizons~
The only advice I'll impart is that the majority of Anime uses Japanese that you wouldn't use in a polite conversation. However, you can still learn new verb conjugations and words more easily the more advanced your classes become, even if you can't really use them. If you had to take any lessons from anime, just look at it as 'Bonus Content' and stick with your sensei tells you you should use in conversation.
Also, with the exception of French, I've had a lot of fun in language classes. I especially loved learning kanji, like putting words into pictures.
