I watched the first five episodes with Holy earlier and it's really fun. I haven't watched something like this in ages
the mlp craze started in the mid 80's. that's when the original stuff came about. it died off in the 90's, but they did make a cartoon "my little pony tales"

Just saw Bridle Gossip. Fluttershy with a deep James Earl Jones voice has got to be one of the most hilarious things ever. And she even sang!!!

The first 2 eps are just set up and introduction. After that they're pretty much never mentioned again and allowed to go full out crazy with character driven wackiness.
The ones to watch are apparently Applebuck Season (episode 4) and Bridle Gossip, and Dog and Pony Show, which I haven't gotten to yet.
Okay, I figured that could be the case, so I'll definitely watch one or two of those episodes before making a real judgment.

Btw. you might have figured out the plot twists and such, but the road there is what is best. Y'know…
Well, on second review it is definitely better than I thought. Gotta love a show that can put so many things through from racism and drugs to erectile dysfunction. The only thing that really annoys me is the morals, though I guess it is geared to a younger audience than even Adventure Time and its ilk.

I LOVE this song. I think it is on par with the music from the Disney classics of the 90's.
The song was great, but i found the plot twist where it turns out that the entire town of Ponyville is populated by complete morons who can't do anything without being micromanaged a bit weird.
