It's like kishimoto finally realized that he should put some actual fighting in there.
Edit: I think the chapter was actually okay this week. 2 chapters left now. This means, next week the fight ends and the week after we get the epilogue, and done.

They were doing a fist fight at least but then it had come the Uchiha crap and Sasuke saying crap like I'm destined to win because I'm a Uchiha.

The chapter actually started fine, Sasuke finally running out of chakra, Naruto Rendan and some actual fighting rather than jutsu spam.
But then again shitty eye powers to force a cliffhanger shoulda been expected.

Naruto finally forms a Rasengan without the assistance of a clone. Chakra is a limited resource that can be depleted within minutes, not hours, if used flippantly. An actual physical fight instead of jutsu spamming. Naruto Rendan. The flashback was limited to a 1/3 of a full page spread.
I liked the chapter, I'm fearful that Naruto will just use a Shadow Clone to avoid Sasukes last attack. Maybe he tanks it and still wins, then Sakura can be useful and steal Naruto from Hinata during the rehabilitation process which will receive it's own Harem spinoff.

I'm pleasantly surprised that Kishi actually included a more traditional fight. And hell, was that a SHURIKEN?
I also like how Naruto actually tripped.Good chapter. Nothing extraordinary, but its a very welcome sight after this whole damn war to see two ninjas just duke it out with fists and weapons. Mostly.

So… now that both Sasuke and Naruto literally have less chakra than Kakashi or Sakura, why can't they jump in and catch Sasuke and slap some sense into him? Isn't that what "so tired can't literally throw a normal punch" means? That he wouldn't be able to dodge anything even with his oh-so--great eyes?

I assume that is what's going to happen. Sakura should have the most strength left at this point. Net chapter she's probably going to be standing there somehow even though the fight is taking place miles away.

Great chapter. I agree that it was nice to see the fight devolve from their super forms into a regular old fist fight. It really highlights the grit and determination of Sasuke and Naruto. I pray that Sakura or Kakashi don't interfere with them.

A "ninja" fistfight (once again lol) is still better than huge pokemon fighting against each other. Even though I barely knew what was happening in the panels.
That soundtrack cover with Hinata happened after one day Hinata just threw Naruto on his bed and got the job done Hyuga style. He wouldn't get it otherwise.

I thought it was a pretty solid chapter. The drawing was messy though except on those double pages where the art seemed to be nicely touched up.
