Ok so I just got home and I had "Those who are given the name of D" Ace waiting for me. And I must say, WOW. This figure is top notch, easily once of the best Ace figures I've ever come across and one of my most favourite One Piece figures. It's actually so well detailed it's unreal. Both of his tattoos are included, even minuscule details like his freckles and a sort of rustic shine to his boot tips (possibly to represent dust etc) are added. I really like the flame element too, a very nice touch. I also enjoy the lack of nipples (lol). I couldn't help myself from stroking his torso (I know how gay that sounds) just to feel the quality. There is seriously not a detail missing from this figure, I am genuinely impressed. I am really pleased I ordered two of these off of Angolz. I want to find a way to cut the pegs off though, and then superglue the pegs to the base so that I can still have the figure stand freely or on the base when needed…

I have a question concerning HLJ. I ordered a Portrait of Pirates Jinbe from them (it was in stock, on sale at the time, the price being 6,400 yen, which was slightly less expensive than at AmiAmi… O_o) last Wednesday, got the order confirmation last Thursday, and they're shipping it out today (EMS), but they haven't taken the payment yet (debit card). When will the amount be taken from my debit card, and when should I be expecting it to arrive?
Update: My mom called me a few minutes ago (stop laughing) and told me that something arrived for me in a big box on Saturday. Jinbe is waiting for me to come home! :-D That is by far the fastest record set by EMS for me: only two days! The bad news is that he's at home… and I'm at college! Same. I NEEEEEEEEEED that Chopper so much (which is why I've asked numerous people to get me one XD I'm gonna have an army of em!) Hiruluk and Kureha I want too. But if I miss I miss. Wapol I can take or leave. I pretty much decided it's too much hassle to worry about these wcf anymore. As long as I get the upcoming ones I need (Chopper, Robin, All-Sunday, Doublefinger) I'll be happy. Everything else is a bonus.

My sister was the one who got it signed for me since I couldn't go, but she says that there was two different autograph signing sessions. One was on friday around 1 pm, the second was on saturday at 10:30 am. But the second one got delayed to 1:30pm, and the people who were waiting there got tickets for a guaranteed signing.
Also it's been 10 days since I last got a tracking update for Marco. Starting to get worried. :/

I think SDX is just too good. Made me exigent :)
But you are right ! It is a very good figure. Sculpt is very good and paint job is too.
Hair isn't the best ever though (compared to SDX, Deep Sea…) and there's something bothering me about his eyes.
The flame is really nice looking and the pose is too.

LOL Rathos! I agree with Elisaheart, we are spoiled little squids who don't appreciate every figure anymore as much as I may have used to ehehe.
Well, the horrible has happened. Something has come up and I probably will have to stop collecting at least one line. I've decided on GLM as I've always had POPs and as much as I'd like to believe, I just can't stop collecting them (at least, the ones I really like). Forget about WCFs, those will be the LAST to go. I'll need to be a lot pickier about stuff, but this is something I knew was coming anyhow. A bit stressed about the whole situation, but, c'est la vie. The best you can do with life is roll with the punches and keep on keepin' on enjoying the little stuff.

They don't really ever have them in stock. Vol 0 was the first time they had any in stock since volume 2 or 3 last year. So theyres a very high chance they'll not get Volume 13

email them about it. I already emailing them about not getting Garp. And casually mentioned in my last email that I was still waiting for the others to be shipped (cus they said they wouldn't be able to dispatch Garp while they were awaiting some of my other stuff or some crap.) and they never replied to my last email (when I mentioned this) however my stuff was shipped yesterday.
Got back from Sakura Con. in Seattle and managed to pick up GLM Law, Kid, and Rayleigh. Glad I picked up Kid on the last day, since Otacute just sent me a email about the backorder being cancelled.

They don't send you payment requests if you have a credit card on file. They just charge your card. I think it's the same if you have a PP agreement with them. Only if you chose to pay with Paypal and actually have to do something for the payment to go through do they contact you.

Finally got my marines today, Akainu is great like I thought he'd be, Aoikiji's face is a bit odd, but still pretty nice.
They look great together with Sengoku and Garp.

Will recieve my Blackbeard this friday (finally!) and it was a bit expensive but can't wait to have him. Missed out on a cheap Whitebeard though (RAGE) but the salesmen did give me Marco for a nice price, now waiting for the second release Whitebeard :(.

Like I said they'll ship it eventually, they're just really slow right now. It took them a week to mail off the three things I bought from them.

Lol! Thank you, both of you. :D, I agree with you on the misses on the figure such as the roughly detailed hair or the shape of the eyes, but I feel that these don't detract too much from the overall styling of the figure. It's very well done, and I feel it's a must get for any fan of Ace. Truth be told this is my first Ace figure so I was incredibly excited to get it. :P
