Yeah guys, let's take a real element such as TIME in a manga/anime where almost anything can last as fucking long as they want to. Anyways, I liked this episode and I don't see how Toei is twisting this arc into a unbelievable and unredeemable mess but whatever.
476: ''Luffy's Limit! All-Out War in the Oris Plaza!!''

Honestly, I think they're just saving up for seven episode from now.
The moment we've all been waiting for.
-
I am contemplating just waiting a couple weeks and not watch OP.
And then watch 5+ episodes in a bulk. I didn't care for the war.
I wasn't crazy for Impel Down, I just want the crew together. I will continue reading the Manga and then come back and watch these episodes in a bulk. -
Didn't Chopper's Rumble Ball last like three episodes against Kumadori?
No. The whole Chopper vs Kumadori lasted for 1 episode and a half.
Also people, please stop feeding the obvious Nov 2010 Bleach troll.
-
I remember too the first time Luffy shrunk after using Gear Third and he said that he'll be tiny for about a minute because that's how long he used Gear Third for. Yeah right.

Wars can't be one-sided?
Not when one guys taking down the top elites in the world all by himself with literally no help, this war is far more realistic, there was the numbers game, it wasn't just who had a few more powerful guys then the other, not all battles are finished and we don't spend hours on one battle just to go to another one and keep going down the line, there's stuff happening at all times during the war, there was strategy, even the strongest man had difficulties fighting, the protagonist ah help and wasn't just randomly the turning point in the war by himself alone… there's lots more that could be said but this war although not realistic was far better than what shit bleach put out

Well like I said, I don't care if you call the Bleach war a war or not. Maybe it was a one-sided massacre. But it was entertaining. I'm not saying that you SHOULDN'T be entertained, by all means I'm happy for you. But it's been three months since the start of this war and I really want some exposition, not asking for climax, but just some exposition. I'm not looking for THAT much realism in an anime where Nico Robin can be impaled by Crocodile and then be fine a few hours later without any healing, or an old man can survive Enel's Mantra that destroyed a portion of the land. I just want to be entertained.
And to whoever said that the Bleach war was unrealistic because one side kept winning over the other… isn't that what the Straw hats do all the time? The only person that was defeated during the CP9 arc was Sanji, and that's because he refused to fight Kalifa.
-
A few hours? What?
Your posts make absolutely no sense. That's because you're not considering what I'm saying.
Take the past 12 episodes, take all the scenes where Luffy is running, combine them, and check the total amount of screen time. I'm saying it's probably around 30 minutes.

Trust me the war is the Shit, you'll love it, you should really read the anime, and it makes it better that it's more realistic like you said Bleach wasn't really a war but a gang fight between two small groups
and as to your second paragraph I've gone over this many times with friends but there's a difference in a one sided match between the main character and his crew he hangs with
EX:
One Piece:SH"s
Bleach:Ichigo, chad, uryu, orihime, rukia, renji
Naruto:kohna 11 sasuke and NarutoThen having the elites of the world get owned as if they were nothing
One piece: Shichibukai, admirals, yonkou
Bleach: SOUL SOCIETY!!!!!! and Vizards
Naruto: kages, akatsukiI capped Bleach for you to better understand
-
@Chopperman Forget it, if he thinks Bleach war was entertaining, there is nothing you can do, that soul is already lost.
If someone finds some one getting owned over and over without offering any resistance entertaining, I can understand it… But when a few chapter later, that same over the top guy is owned by a rookie who spent some time in the hyperbolic time and space chamber, and dies out of a minor attack that was done like 10 chapters back.... I can't understand it at all...
And if he says that a Chaotic war, where everyone is loosing and anyone is winning, like its supposed to be in a WAR, boring.... this guy has already been taken to the image era, the era where plot doesn't matters, only cool lines, and showy attacks...

Nice speech
but yeah It wasn't until aizen coming in and killing everyone By himself that I decided bleach sucks is the worst series I've ever read, what happened after only strengthened my opinion

Whatever man. I'm not criticizing what you find entertaining. I personally don't "get" why people think watching Luffy get knocked around for two months is SO much more interesting than some good close battles that just happen to end in the favor of the good guys more often, but they're entitled to their opinion. You can't criticize the Bleach war arc, when every other One Piece arc was similar. This arc isn't as entertaining as I thought it would be, the crew is missing, and Luffy is a little fish in a big pond. I understand it's necessary for him to know how out of his league he is, but when it's stretched out this long the point wears thin. CP9, is the best arc IMO in One Piece for very good reason. One Piece does a lot of things really well and is a much better anime than Bleach, but this part of the war isn't one of them.
Oh and the reason why the Bleach War was one sided is because Aizen is an arrogant jerk who didn't care about his men and his side was terribly outnumbered almost 2 to 1. His side lost so often because it was rarely a 1 on 1 fight. Stark lost to Shunsui and two vizards with a little help from Ukitake, Halibel was triple teamed at one point, Barragan had to fight 2 enemies. So it's not that odd they kept dying off.

@I:
! maybe in part because it has more layers of meaning now that I know the truth behind it. Bravo Oda, again, for such fine writing.
You confused me there at first and I had to read through it a couple times, but I eventually understood what you mean, and I was like, "Whooa! Did not notice that!", lol. Looking at it from that perspective, it really does add a lot or more emotion into that one line…damn, that is pretty sad, lol...:P
'Nyways, yeah, nice eye. ;) Or rather, mind...O_o
Anyways, I liked this episode and I don't see how Toei is twisting this arc into a unbelievable and unredeemable mess but whatever.
Rofl, my thoughts exactly; but either way, I must say that Toei is making up for it with their surprisingly fine animation sequences recently, somewhat.
I still think they should remake this arc into a movie, though, clearing out any irritating flaws and fillers that they implemented into the shows into a nice, clean movie that would reach the initial expectations I had on this arc, lol. :P (Not only that, but the pace would feel a lot smoother now that they wouldn't be restricted by dangers to catching up to the manga and whatnot. )
The arc's getting slightly better as it's reaching the end/climax, however; definitely a lot better than how it started, lol. :P Whatever the case, it's still OP, and because of that, the series of episodes themselves remain to be an awesome package, hehe.

unbelievable .

unbelievable .
The guy said that the Bleach War arc was a one sided beat down, is that or is that not how the Straw hat fights turn out in every arc? Did Zoro not beat Ryuuma? Did Usopp not beat Perona? Chopper and Robin vs. the Zombie Zoro and Zombie Sanji? Luffy vs. Moria? Sanji vs. Absalom?
Chopper and Franky vs. Fukurou and Kumadori, Sanji vs. Jyabura, Zoro vs. Kaku, Luffy vs. Blueno, Luffy vs. Lucci, Nami vs. Kalifa?
Zoro vs. Mr. 1, Sanji vs. Mr. 2, Nami vs. Ms. Doublefinger, Chopper and Usopp vs. Ms. Merry Christmas and Mr. 4, Luffy vs. Crocodile?
If you're going to criticize the Bleach arc that's fine, but saying that it's bad because it was one-sided makes it seem like you're going out of your way to be hypocritical. Most Straw hat arc fights end with one of the crew getting a win. It's not realistic, but that's not a fault to the arcs.
-
bleach has no war arcs like this one, so you can't compare it with an 11 vs 11 fights like bleach
or the strawhats vs other crews.what you're seeing here is what wars are all about, everyone is fighting everyone. there is no set matches
there is only randomness, fight any one in your way with no regard to human life. -
I have to agree with this. The war is all out and random. It is how a war should be.

They are talking about about the ELITE of each manga. All the arcs so far the SH's have faced enemies that have been more or less on there level, however when they meet an enemy that is clearly stronger (Mihawk, Kuma, all 3 Admirals) they get their ass whooped. In Bleach Ichigo has beaten everyone, almost all of the supposed "strongest people in SS" the Captains and then he just shonens his way through anyone he wants, elite or not.
You will see as the war goes on how Luffy just keeps getting his ass kicked repeatedly and the War is a good example to how far Luffy needs to go to compete in the New World.
The Bleach "War" in the anime has actually been much better than it was in the Manga. If you go back and read the chapters the anime has covered so far you will see why so much hate is directed at them. Giant panel-filling shocked faces and cocky smirks with an all white background is about all you will see over and over again. The anime is better mostly because its going at about a 2.5 chapters per episode pace…but just wait, the worst in that "war" has yet to come...
And as for One Piece's war, either read the manga or wait it out for about 2 more months when it concludes and I guarantee that you will be singing a MUCH different tune...
-
I like how after Garp punches Marco, the camera pans to the word justice on his coat. It's funny to see these kinds of things you didn't notice on the first watch.

I believe you. I'm not in the business of defending Bleach over One Piece. But he criticized the Bleach arc for only having the good guys win, when One Piece does it as well, he wasn't talking about the Elites, he said that it's boring that one side was winning so often, I thought that was hypocritical.
I also believe that this conclusion of this arc will be amazing, but if you compare everything that we've seen up until now, and then compare that with the Alabaster, CP9, Skypeia, and Thriller Bark arcs, I would find the other four to be more entertaining. Maybe it's because of the crew not being missing and Luffy being the main focus, maybe it's because of the fights, whatever it is, I miss it.
-
I really miss the Romance Dawn arc….You know, when One Piece was so innocent and seemed to be filled with simple, entertaining doses of adventure and pirate romance…(sigh) That definitely brings back in so much nostalgia. :P It's a satisfyingly bittersweet feeling to know that the world of OP has seemed to change from how we thought of it earlier in the story to the insane world of chaos we see it as now...
-
I usually grade these episode on if they are good enough to watch twice or more and after my third viewing….it still kicks ass.
-
I really wasn't a fan of the whole scene with Iva and Jinbe. To me at least, these two (especially Ivankov) are very much larger-than-life, and the fact that Iva was dancing around floating blocks of ice and listening for sounds seemed a little degrading to his divine status.
The rest was insane though, I am still eagerly awaiting to see Sengoku's power brought to life.

Yea you definitely can't tell he was a General of the Revolutionary Army headed by the man who is the most wanted person on the planet, nor can you tell Jinbei is a Shichibukai.

The thing everyone needs to understand is that with the small skirmishes starting up and us never getting a resolution, well we dot need to. I imagine that in each case someone sneaks up behind each of the fighters and tries to take them out and each is forced to turn and deal with the new opponent. The PROBLEM is that since each episode is only covering 1 chap, everything moves slow as hell and in order for the interrupted fight theory to work things needs to have a sense of hurry or rush to them. The freeze frame imagines are NOT helping either.

Oh hey let me critisize fucking anything in favorable comparison to one of the absolute worst stretches of comic book ever made in an already ironically titled sea of immense blandness. -a goddamned fool

Is RedRing Zoom?

Zoom is the symbol of Bleachfan in general.

is RedRing Serious ?

Zoom got banned? I guess it was inevitable since he's a textbook fish out of water.

people care about bleach?

They're not people.
