I've never had a sex dream.
Is it odd that my dreams, if they involve me, are always in the first person? If the dream is about someone else I see everything from a third person view. I've literally never seen myself in my own dreams.

I don't know if it's odd or anything, but I tend to see myself from the outside about 7 times out of 10 while dreaming. Unless it's a nightmare, those I usually get the pleasure of having to deal with in first person mode… shudder
Now I feel weird for not having these kind of dreams.
Never had something this explicit. But I once had a dream of me battling an enormous orange snake in my living room, and winning like a boss.
A friend of mine tried to analyze it with her funny dream book. I thought she'd tell me that I subconsciously feel very protective of my home and family or something.
Wrong. Snakes mean I have repressed sexy urges. And it was orange, too? OH BOY, you need to get laid NOW! And try something new while you're at it!
I don't understand this dream analyzing stuff, it's confusing as fuck.
Did anyone of you ever dream of shoes? Well it means you're a total perv. It's all Freud's fault.
I confess that whenever I'm carrying an umbrella and it's not raining, I use it as a walking stick and if there aren't many people around, I start doing a House impression. I limp slightly, put on a grumpy face and imagine giving orders/insulting people as I past them. If I'm walking with my friends, I do it out loud.
Hey LaCaSina, I was cleaning out my room and found 100 Coolpoints under my bed. How about you take them right the hell now!?
Talking of nightmares, I also tend to enjoy them quite too much. I'm probably morbid, but I often induce them by watching horror movies in half sleep when I feel like it. It's better when I'm too tired to follow the movie's plot and just suck in the atmosphere.
I kinda wish I have a dream with sexual content. The only time I had one was at least 5 years ago. Most of the time I dream about a manga-like adventure or drama.
@Holy:
Anyways, it's a shame that only the tiniest minority of Final Fantasy fans will ever play FFXI. Because for a series where its fandom cares heavily about its storytelling and narrative, FFXI has by far one of the strongest stories in the series. It also has really, really well done lore.
Amen, sister. I'm considering getting back into the game once I get a steady income.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
@marimo: FFV or FFVI are really good starter FFs because they're both polar opposites, yet they're both exquisite examples of two of the primary gameplay styles of the series. If you want fun gameplay and mountains of customization, FF5 is for you. If you want a rich story with memorable characters, FF6 is for you. Both are very good in their own right, and are my three favorite FFs with FFIX.
My biggest confession ever.
! >! >! >! I am obsessed (like REALLY obsessed) with old school Beyblade. :ninja:
absolutely nothing wrong with that at all.
LET IT RIP~!
@the dream talk:
i dreamt last night that i was running along with negi (negima) and trying to get to school, leaping over whole flights of steps and not feeling any pain. pretty cool.
then i had another which involved one of my old teachers coming over for dinner. a lot of yugioh card decks started appearing everywhere, which was weird.
Most of the dreams I have are the usual: deja vu dreams where something I dream about happens in my life days or weeks later and the occasional zombie apocalypse where I go out by pulling the pin on a grenade as the zombies are gnawing on my flesh.
@Nia:
I've dreamt I was having sex as a man (with a woman). Twice.
I've had that too! It was… actually all I could think of after I woke up from it was: "Is that how it really feels? ... If only Ivankov was real."
So basically very weird. The best dreams are usually when you get seduced by a celebrity you fancy :D
Haha glad I'm not the only one that's had this despite the other two being women :ninja: .
At this point I kind of just want a sex dream so I feel like I can join the rest of the human race.
Really hate feeling abnormal all the dang time.
Haha don't worry I haven't had one in quite a long time. Must have grown out of it or something.
80% of my dreams are ones involving sex. either with people i know, strangers, different scenarios - all that shit.
another 10% usually deal with me being somehow incredibly rich and blowing money like crazy - these dreams usually end in sex too.
the last 10% of dreams i get would be the random running through the forest type shit. i once committed suicide in a dream and it was teh craziest shit ever. i consider myself to be the most sane person i know ( but who doesnt think that right?) woke up in a cold sweat, crying all that shit. i might expand on it later.
i am not black.
i am not black.
I thought so when I reached confessions part 3 lol
Also reading this thread is getting to me. Tonight I was dreaming I was locked in a stripclub.
I just had a dream about an ugly guy with a face full of freckle who holds a hammer going through a forest with tons of outrageous obstacles to date a pretty girl. When he reached the point it's too late and they had to go home. He accompanied the girl against some mad dogs and cats and whatnot and reached home, only to figure out a pretty guy is waiting to propose to her, and etc.
Is hammer a phallic symbol, I wonder.
I've had sex dreams, but never with anyone I know and/or am attracted toward. It's generally some random, made up person. Never makes sense.
I mean, even Stryker. Amazing wet dream with me and him making love on the beach? No. Random dream of him dancing to "The Way You Make Me Feel" by Michael Jackson and actually dancing like Michael Jackson, by throwing his hat, giving pelvic thrusts, and moonwalking? YES!
I get the same shit Insider does. My first sex dream was with a non-existent, less than attractive girl. Subsequent sex dreams after that were all me going "fuck it" and tossing out the romantic process to just give into base instincts. It used to be that I never had sex dreams but now it seems like it's one of my more reoccurring ones. And actually, it pisses me off too because before I had all these sex dreams, I used to dream about me in the middle of the apocalypse or fighting one-on-one with serial killers and shit. That stuff is so freaking exciting, it's awesome.
And I've never died in my dreams. I always survive no matter how insane the odds are. After I heard from a few people that they've died in their dreams regularly, I kinda just made the theory that (based on who they are and who I am) dying in your dreams is the same as having no self-confidence. If you survive them then you are confident. But hey, I might die in one someday. You can't be entirely confident 24/7.
I never had sex dreams. Just torture dreams.
so if you die it means you have low self confidence?
my self confidence is low, yet i don't die in my dreams. perhaps it needs to be on a more extreme level.
What i WOULD like to know is why every now and then i have a dream about hanging out with a random girl, and she kisses me just before i wake up.
The location changes in every dream. (in one, we were stargazing. in another, we were browsing in a shopping mall. etc etc)
I thiiiink I had like… three sex dreams like now? One was with a guy I disliked like fuck and it was basically him humping me out of nowhere while we both were dressed, with a monkey like expression on his face or something. I woke up that night with a disgusted look on my face. Second one was with this guy friend of mine who I used to give shoulder massages to and from what I remember we both were dressed again and he was making aroused noises or something. Third one I don't remember much other than who it was with (a crush of mine) and it was.. quite tender.
I dreamed of being pregnant by a crush before but it wasn't a nice dream since he didn't want the baby and wanted me to abort it... It made me sad :c I wouldn't want to abort a baby I made with a guy I liked... Meuh.
90% of my dreams end with me getting killed in pretty gruesome ways. My subconscious is very creative with the killing methods it chooses.
Sometimes I switch position to watch myself die, sometimes it remains in first person view until I'm dead for good. I never wake up before I die. For example: If I were to fall from a great height, I would only wake up after the impact.
Also, sometimes I can somehow "feel" pain in my dreams really well. It even lasts a minute or two after I've already woken up, like the one time I burned to death. That one was, uh, especially painful.
And before you ask: Yes, I have a very low level of self-confidence. It would make sense to connect this with the dying issue, but I somehow think that dreams don't work that way. Just my personal feeling.
Only … about 4 dreams I can remember had sexual content. And three of those were weird as hell.
/EDIT: By the way, do you guys have a "dream land" you go to? I always visit the same places in my dreams, it's like its own little world. Everything is connected and changes from time to time, but when it does, the changes stay permanently.
Nia has low self-confidence?? O3O B-but you are pretty, funny, creative and talented! What the?!
As for a dream land, that I don't have. I've dreamed of certain places more than once but otherwise I get sent by my subconscious in random places.
Death is a rare occurrence in dreams for me. If I die, it's generally a fall dream where I might fall down the stairs, and I wake up once I hit the ground.
Beyond that? I never die in my dreams. Even in nightmares. I'll be chased relentlessly by a psycho killer, but if he catches me, one of two things happen:
a) A brief flash happens and the same exact chase OR a new chase takes place.
b) I pan out from the scene, and watch that I was watching the chase from the eyes of someone else. Meaning, someone ELSE was being chased and was horribly killed by a killer, and I was watching from their eyes.
B) happens to me a lot in nightmares. I'll have dreams where I'm watching a horror movie, and randomly, I'll jump into the mind of the next victim. And for some reason, the victims are always someone I know. RARELY is it someone I love. But someone I know….like a celebrity, or an Internet person, or even an obscure fictional character.
I'll just watch the movie. Experience the death scenes of the movie. And when the death ends, it returns view to me watching the horror with other people (more than often, my sisters).
You know. That would make a cool movie or game.
And if anything....I guess I'm more afraid of the EXPERIENCE of being murdered than death itself.
@Uncle:
I get the same shit Insider does.
Your latest crush dances like Michael Jackson in your dreams too?
@Nia:
EDIT: By the way, do you guys have a "dream land" you go to? I always visit the same places in my dreams, it's like its own little world. Everything is connected and changes from time to time, but when it does, the changes stay permanently.
Yeah, I think I do. I always end up in this one really huge college. Sometimes I have the feeling it's a high school and other times I have the feeling it's a college (like it is). It has a design unlike anything I've actually seen in life. Stuff like, marble pillars and tiled floors. It seems kind of rustic and a mixture of new and old age architecture. It almost feels like it should be a mall rather than a college. They have a food court and fountains and a pool and tons of stairways. It's a pretty interesting place.

But yeah, the closest I ever came to dying in my dreams was when this one serial killer slipped me a sleeping drug and then started choking me with a piano wire. I just barely caught the wire so I was able to struggle but then he also electrocuted me directly in the chest. At the first shock I remember vividly thinking that, "Oh shit, I'm going to die!" which I've never actually thought in my dreams or reality before. I could actually feel my life fading away after the first shock.
So then I started choking him with one of my hands and we started struggling back and forth. I woke up before I could see the result of whether or not I'd live.
I generally have three common plains:
a) I'm home, whether it be my current home or one of my old (though most of my dreams have been in my current home).
b) I'm at a school. It doesn't have to be my current University, it could be a completely made up school. Hell, I've had a nightmare where I was lost in a school, looking for a class that I was already late for and had a test in, and the weirdest thing? The school was the exact school I went to for two weeks to get my driver's permit in Florida. I knew like…..TWO PLACES in that entire school, and yet somehow, I made up the rest.
c) Boxed rooms. Nothing special. Just a room with dark walls. Things happen inside, of course. I've had good dreams of playing video games with a mentor of mine when I was kid, and I've had bad dreams of giant roaches latching onto my leg and eating my shin. Just.....walls.
I'm hardly ever outside, really.
I rarely dream, but when it does happen, my mind always puts me in a familiar place, just disorted. Blue buildings I would recognize from real life would turn out red, the average person is either very small or very big, roots of trees would be up in the air while the leaves are stuck in the ground, stuff like that.
Its like a hallucination, just without lizardmen who try to eat my face.
None of the sex dreams I've had have involved women I am attracted to. Seems to be fairly commonly like that judging by a few of the posts in here.
LOL sex dreams. I had like three sex dreams as far as I can remember.
Two of them involves my favorite pairings. <3 (Yeah, not me :D)
The other one is weird as sh*t. I'm not even attracted to that person in the slightest, at all. In didn't feel like sex too. Just naked on top of each other. In fact, I think I was actually just peeping at those two having sex. Dunno. That's why it's weird.
I may have less sex dreams, but I actually have plenty of dating and kissing dreams. I guess I'm a innocent romantic kind of person.
But what I like aboutmy dreams is that most of the time, it involves adventure and survival! I have dreamed One Piece three times since I have became a fan of it. The first anime dream that I have is Yugi-oh, where Yugi and company went back to Atem's time. It was such a beautiful dream, which ended up Tristan Taylor being my first favorite anime character. I can also remember that the next day, after dreaming that dream, I keep singing "A dream is a wish your heart makes". Yeah!
I have sex dreams frequently, but that's probably because I'm such a pervert. Some of them are very pleasant, some are extremely fucked up and some are just cute and cuddly.
I also die frequently in my nightmares or wake up when I'm in the middle of being attacked by monsters and such. I remember one nightmare where I was a Straight Jacket monster from Silent Hill 2 and I was crawling everywhere in panic, because I knew Pyramid Head was out to kill me. This was in first person too, so I was slithering on floors. O__o One other was Project Zero-related and in it I was assaulted by a violent ghost. The attack was painful and when I woke up I was hitting my hands on the wall, the struggle to get away following me to reality. That was disturbing and needless to say it took some time to calm down…

Me me me, I do! I have multiple locations of which some are replicas from places I used to visit as a child and some exist just in my dreams. Even if I visit a dream land I haven't dreamt about in years, I instantly recognise every single one of them. It's odd, but fun in its own way. ^^
I have sex dreams frequently, but that's probably because I'm such a pervert.
Doesn't help me any :sad: .
Doesn't help me any :sad: .
I'm going to give you such obvious advice that you should realize it on your own without me even saying it.
Oh yeah almost forgot about this!
Hey LaCaSina, I was cleaning out my room and found 100 Coolpoints under my bed. How about you take them right the hell now!?
Oh wow, thank you very much! I feel very honoured! I'm not sure whether I deserve these points since my impression isn't that acurate, but then again the intention is to just have fun with it. Also thanks to MDL who complimented me on my "awesome" habit :D
I've only had two dreams where I died. The rest, no matter what kind of danger I was in, always either changed due to my sub conscience or I managed to get bailed out.
My sex dreams are almost similar. Not only are they rare, but they never actually get to where they're going, because I either wake up, or something in the dream gets in the way.
Seriously, they're sex dreams in name only because my psyche doesn't think I deserve even that. The funny thing is, the only two successful times I had a sex dream was when I was in middle school. The rest of the time, however, I was pretty much doomed.
I'm going to give you such obvious advice that you should realize it on your own without me even saying it.
You really underestimate me LaCa .
Guys never listen to obvious advice that involves sex in some form.
Speaking of dreams, mine are always uninteresting. I've never had sex dreams, I've never died or anything. Most of the times I just sit in a car, or I'm riding a bike or something. Nothing usually happens.
I did have one dream though where I was in a library. Next to one of the shelves two guys stood and kissed. Take that as you want…
How does it feel to die in dreams? I always wake up or reverse time before it happens.
You really underestimate me LaCa .
Well, then… I got nothin'. You're on your own from here on! I just know what works for me. :P
Like always :ninja: .
Forever alone without sex dreams?
I don't really know why it would help though. Since you're releasing all of it you'd think it'd stop sex dreams.
Hmmm, I never thought of it that way. That's clearly not a problem for me at all then~ But then again, it's different for men. Uh, I don't know, I'm not an expert; just your average perverted young woman.
I mean I suppose I can't say I don't have sex dreams. But the majority of the time it's not sex per se. [hide]It's more me… and my traveling hands :ninja: .[/hide]
Edit: Maybe it's the frequency of the hands on time. I'm not going to ask though .
I would tell you two to keep your hands to yourself, but I feel that would just make things worse.
I'm fairly certain we both already have that covered Bob.
Sakie & LaCa And The Likelihood Of The Traveling Hands, right after these messages.
Hahahahahahahaha
Only in this thread could I feel weird for not having sex dreams.
@Uncle:

My self-confidence is 0 and I've never died in my dreams.
And I've never had sex dreams.
So you quoted my entire post just to say I was wrong?
I doubt you're hopelessly lacking in confidence. The people I know that have died in their dreams were all extremely over dramatic and had no confidence what-so-ever. You're too cocky to be saying you have 0 confidence.
And even if I'm wrong, it's just an observation. It may be nothing at all but I do believe my irrational level of high self-confidence is what allows me to not die in my dreams.
@Chucklepants:
My self-confidence is 0 and I've never died in my dreams.
If you have enough confidence to say that you have no confidence, then you have confidence.
Now accept your existence of confidence before slap you silly!
I think I am probably a genius or at least a rare talent. Due to misfortune and lack of self-restraint that the world has not acknowledged my genius yet. Yeah, that must be it.
Anyway, isn't this thread about me?
