You have to unlock all of the hats in Find Mii 1. Then you unlock Find Mii 2 via spotpass.
Find Mii 2 is unlocked after beating the second runthrough of Find Mii. And I thought it just came in the last update, not Spotpass.

Now, I'm not a big Mickey, or even Disney fan, nor have I played the Snes/GBA mickey games that were apparently all sorts of great. But I really dig spritework, and this game looks neat enough.
But I'm nearly foaming at the mouth over here at people on a certain news site complaining about "dis looks like gba graphix i bought 3ds not gba y they make dis" and "y it no an eshop game wii version look so much better y dis one b so bad" and I want to rip their fingers off so they can't type anymore. Do people actually WANT them to make a hamstrung version of Epic Mickey 2 for the 3DS? I much prefer it when games that are released on both console and handheld are, you know, actually different games. Especially so obvious a retro-throwback as this one. The parallax is probably crazy-go-nuts, not to mention the pixel count is obviously much higher than the snes, gba, or ds. So things DO look better.
urg, I'm literally getting so pissed about a game I only feel vaguely positive about. People are the worst.

yeah, I know. I've commented before about the constant whining over the graphics. The point is that it's supposed to be a retro throwback to a game with 16 bit graphics and people can't get it through their thick skulls. I'm positively livid about the reaction to the graphics and people wondering why it's a full retail game instead of a eShop without knowing the story, the amount of levels, if there's any multiplayer and whatnot. I'd rather want a brand new game than getting a water downed console game made for a portable. I personally think the screenshots are good but are lower quality due to being blown up to sizes not of the 3DS' screen size.

When I saw people posting that they "wouldn't pay 60 dollars for a 2D platformer in this day and age", referring to Rayman Origins, I was ready to slit some wrists.

That's something I don't get with this gaming generation; 3D is supposed to be all the rage, yet we can't go back and enjoy new titles in the classic style of 2D gaming!? Come on man…
Games like Rayman Origins, Donkey Kong Country Returns and New Super Mario Bros. Wii**( Graphics for both DKCR and NSMB Wii are in 3D, but it's classic 2D just like Super Mario Bros. & Donkey Kong Country was in the good ol' days.)** are reason enough to continue enjoying the classic times of gaming as much as the gaming in 3D.

The amount of butthurt from these idiots is amazing. This Generation is a terrible one honestly.

Unfortunately, agreed.
-
Rayman Origins is one of greatest looking games I've played this gen. Those kids don't recognize a gem even when they get hit by it on the head.
-
i need to get me rayman origins. It's on the list of games for when i have money along with last story and pandoras tower. Quick question: what is rayman best for? Xbox, ps3 or wii?
-
Well, I have the Wii version and it already looks awesome but I guess an actual HD version would look even better. A friend of mine got the PS3 version and even though he don't like Jump'n'Runs he said it's one of the most beautiful games he saw.

Nintendo launches the official Mario website that fits any of you guys' Mario needs or wants. mario.nintendo.comWe've been seeing various rumors from trustworthy and untrustworthy sources about how powerful the WiiU is either less powerful, more powerful or just as powerful as the PS3 and 360. What does Nintendo have to say about all this? They say focus less on the numbers of specs and more on the experience of the games on the console. http://mynintendonews.com/2012/04/05/nintendo-says-dont-focus-on-technology-specs-just-enjoy-the-games/

Typical Nintendo answer, and after the many Nintendo titles on the Wii that greatly disappointed me (for non-graphics reasons, in fact) I just can't take their word for it this time around.

Aww, which ones? Aside from Other M and arguably Twilight Princess, everything actually Nintendo has been pretty good. Well, there's the "Wii____" series, but I can't say I was disappointed by them, because I never expected anything of them.

Twilight Princess which I consider a GCN game, is actually the best console Zelda to have come out since 2000, if you ask me.
tl;dr version:
Animal Crossing City Folk - Very disappointing. A game Nintendo should be ashamed of.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Quite disappointing.
Super Mario Galaxy 1/2 - Disappointing and make me worry for the future.
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword - Slightly disappointing, also makes me worry for the future.I have not played a single Wii game that hasn't disappointed me to some extent. The closest to not disappointing me is Mario Kart Wii, but come on, that's a Mario Kart game. It's not too hard to make games in that series fun. Plus it had the advantage of being played back when I had an wireless connection for playing games. So it was my most fun time playing online.
Not to go off on that, though. My two favorite GCN titles were Animal Crossing and Super Smash Bros. Melee. Those two titles kept me playing my GCN consistently for all of its lifetime. When the Wii has announced and had a new Animal Crossing and Super Smash Bros. coming out for it, I was thrilled. I thought that the Wii's games would be better than their predecessors. Instead we got City Folk and Brawl. Animal Crossing City Folk is the laziest excuse for a sequel I have ever seen in my entire life. The laziness was so obvious that it ran into the quality of the game. So not only was it very similar to its predecessor but it was of noticeably less quality. Features went missing for no reason, animal villager interaction was taken down a huge notch and became a lot more repetitive, etc.
City Folk completely killed my enthusiasm for the Wii. However, Brawl had already taken my enthusiasm down a great bit. Compared to City Folk it was a minor disappointment - It's obvious that the developers of Brawl actually worked hard on the game. However, it still disappointed me and it only lasted me a few weeks or so.
With the two series that kept the GCN alive for me lacking that greatness they had before my Wii was just a dust collector. But they weren't the only games that I played and was disappointed with. Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 were fun games, but they began a trend in 3D Mario platformers that I hate and am now very worried about the future of the series after Super Mario 3D Land - the levels are no longer open levels, they're linear. They feel too much like playing a 2D Mario with a slight bit of running room.
Finally, Skyward Sword came out. The game was very successful in ending an complaint I had about the system from the beginning - the fact that the motion controls were just a gimmick that did nothing for the games exact add extra annoyances. Skyward Sword made it fun. However, it shouldn't have taken an add-on and several years to get there. Either way, I was open to the game, and I had enjoyed playing through all of the past 3D Zelda's without any explainable complaints on the first runthrough. Skyward Sword unfortunately changed that. It certainly had many strong points, but the game just felt short, small, repetitive and annoying. I don't know if I'd enjoy playing it again, actually, which I'm sad to say.
After all of that, I'm not just going to give Nintendo the free pass I did when I heard that the Wii's power wasn't going to be up to par with its competition. They can't just say the quality of their games will completely make for up it anymore. They have to prove it. When they so lazily pushed out games like Animal Crossing City Folk I can't even begin to take them seriously. Even though I am pretty loyal to Nintendo in that other companies just don't typically have the kind of franchises I'm interested in (I really don't like violence), they're not perfect, and they can't get by me with saying crap like that anymore.
-
To be honest, I enjoy many of the first party games for the Wii that came out like Skyward Sword, Galaxy 2(Don't really like Galaxy 1 all that much), Other M (was decent imo), Donkey Kong Country Returns, and Brawl. But I agree with Envy. Nintendo can't just say it's not about the power. They need to prove it like they did before and not lazy with their titles. Animal Crossing: City Folk was a huge disappointment and to many other AC fans. Mario Party 8 was hailed the worst console Mario Party by far, at least to me. And although it was great, it took them five years to get a game that effectively uses Wii-Motion Plus and that's just sad in my opinion.
Though I have to disagree on Twilight Princess. While I liked the game, I did not like how Ganondorf was forced into the plot so hard. And the game is pretty unmemorable as I can't remember jack shit about it. And it has nothing to do with my memory, nothing just stuck out to me aside from the major points of the game. I'd put Skyward Sword higher than Twilight Princess.
-
Brawl was an awesome game. Just because it didn't take itself as seriously as melee as a tournament game doesn't make it bad. City folk was admittedly disappointing, but the 3ds animal crossing looks great. Galaxy games were amazing and it seems your complaint is mainly "it isn't the same as other 3d mario games". And how the hell did Skyward Sword feel short? It's considerably longer than Twilight princess. And considering you judge Twilight Princess as superior to wind waker and Majora's mask, I'm guessing you just don't like it when someone does anything different with franchises you like
-

Assuming that's why I was disappointed with it. Think again, I have never even remotely been competitive.
City folk was admittedly disappointing, but the 3ds animal crossing looks great.
The 3DS Animal Crossing does look better. Although we still know so little about it, and it really could have the same shortcomings that CF did, sadly. I want to assume it won't. I think that the at least having outdoor furniture will freshen it up a bit… But still, I was speaking of the Wii. The 3DS version is not relevant here.
Galaxy games were amazing and it seems your complaint is mainly "it isn't the same as other 3d mario games".
If I perceive a change to be negative, then of course I'll complain about it.
And how the hell did Skyward Sword feel short? It's considerably longer than Twilight princess.
I don't know, maybe 'short' wasn't the right word, but it seemed short to me. I think it was just because the game felt so small.
And considering you judge Twilight Princess as superior to wind waker and Majora's mask, I'm guessing you just don't like it when someone does anything different with franchises you like
I said "since 2000", I wasn't including Majora's Mask. Majora's Mask is my favorite Zelda game.
And again, if I see a game change in a way that makes the game less fun then I will complain about it. Change can be good or bad.
-
Well, I guess we just fundamentally disagree on a few levels. Galaxy 1 (and 2) was pure enjoyment to me, in a way that few other games have ever been. It's definitely in my top 5 games of all time. And while I do really like the open-world style 3D platformer, those have all disappeared, and I don't expect them anymore.
Then Skyward Sword is maybe my favorite Zelda, after Wind Waker. I loved the motion controls, the characters, and I actually didn't miss the lack of a (usually empty and pointless) overworld to run around in. I racked up over 50 hours in it, which is my usual Zelda game time.
As for City Folk, while I do love me some animal crossing, I play each game for maybe a year and then get bored, and that one was no exception. The only thing I can recall that I didn't enjoy was that the grass wore down, a retarded feature in my opinion.
Brawl… man, I wanted to love this game. I was beyond hype for it, and it ended up not being quite the game Melee was. And I feel like it could've easily been, if Sakurai hadn't been so determined to casual up everything. The beauty of Melee was that it could be played all items, giant melee, 1 vs 3, coin melee, on Pokefloats, or if you wanted, 1 v 1, no items, 3 stock, final destination. And in Brawl, the former was very possible, but the latter became kinda gimped. Everything is slower and floatier, recovery is much easier, huge balance issues, removal of advanced tech (why remove something like L canceling?), reduced hit stun, an overall forced defensive (read: turtling) focus, etc. I still have fun when I play it, but I certainly felt let down.
I guess I never suspected there would be a person who didn't like Galaxy, Skyward Sword, OR Brawl, but you are entirely entitled to your opinion. I'm not going to argue with you about whether you had fun or not. Now, you say you haven't played a wii game that hasn't disappointed you in some way, but have you played Punch-out, Muramasa, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Metroid Prime 3, Kirby's Epic Yarn, Kirby's Return to Dreamland, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, Zak and Wiki, or A Boy and his Blob? Because those I felt were all very strong games, though I don't have a good idea on what your tastes are.

Well, the only game I actually dislike is Animal Crossing City Folk. The rest of them are games I enjoyed that just had flaws I just can't overlook in the end.
Out of the games you listed the only ones I'm really interested in are the two Kirbys, mostly Return to Dreamland. But even so, sadly no matter how good that game might be it can not possibly make up for the rest of the games on the system.
I suppose the thing is that sadly not a single Wii game could leave an lasting impression on me that wasn't disappointing.

I'm sorry to hear that. But I highly recommend DKC:R, it's a great addition to the classic DKC series, with great platforming moments, and the difficulty spikes all the way up to "oh god fuck everything" near the end, which is a very good thing. And then there's all those puzzle pieces, which I still need to go back and find.
-
That sucks. I think overall I've played on my PS3 more than the Wii but the Wii had more memorable and fun games. Twilight Princess, Okami, Metroid Prime Collection, Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, NSMB, Epic Mickey (I liked it), Unlimited Cruise, Xenoblade Chronicles, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Mairo Kart and Skyward Sword seemed to stick out a helluva lot more in my memory than the other consoles'
Gotta agree tho. Animal Crossing on the Wii was dire compared to the DS one. But compared to the cube one….hmmmmm I dunno. I think the problem was that it didn't change much compared to the DS one so felt like a retread. Maybe its just because I think Animal Crossing suits the handhelds more than big consoles.
-
i agree with everyone about city folk being bad. I loved the DS one but there was nothing new in city folk to keep me interested. As for the other games i see were some opinions are coming from. I disliked brawl compared to melee for how easy a game it was I had no challenge except for maybe boss mode on very hard but i still managed to do it. I loved the galaxy games and while they are different from 64 and sunshine by focusing on more traditional mario gameplay that wasn't bad. I loved super mario 3d land which is like the fusion between galaxy and NSMB. NSMBWii wasn't as good as the ds title. I found it why to easy with no motivation to go collect everything.
As for skyward sword i also found it shorter than i expected, managing to do everything in 40 hours which is 2 hours less than my twilight princess time however the motion controls were amazing and so was the story which is why i loved this game more than wind waker and twilight princess [which i consider a GC title as well] (majora is still my fav though).
DKC:R was great fun if not brutal in the later stages and i'm one of the minority who enjoyed other:M. Xenoblade as well was easily one of the best games this generation though and epic mickey wasn't bad and neither was zak & wiki. Dissapointed with okami though. -
Disappointed with Okami? Wow. Never heard someone say that XD
To be honest. Despite the plot I quite enjoyed Other M's gameplay too. It felt like Classic troid.
Trying to think of others. Brawl was ok. Shame cus online wasn't great and not as many local people to play as I did with Melee. Fire Emblem was enjoyable too but not as great as the Cube or GBA ones (again a series that works better on handhelds) aint played Batallion Wars 2 despite owning it and hearing pretty much great things.
-
Batallion Wars 2 was alright. It reminded me a lot of Starwars battlefront and quake wars. It was hard at some points though.
Fire Emblem was good but not as good as the GBA and Cube titles. It did have an really good story though.
Warioware was great. Wario Land Shake it was also good.
Super Paper Mario wasn't as good as the others but the story was darker which i liked
Mario Party 8 was the worst mario party but 9 supposedly better. I've head mixed opinions.
Sin & punishment 2 was good but ridiculously hard.
No More Heroes 1 & 2 = Awesome
Another Code R was good. Disaster was alright but repetitive.
Prime 3 and Kart Wii were really good.
Madworld was fun but also got repetitive.
Pokemon Battle Rev was alright at first but got boring the more you played it which is a shame cause stadium was awesome
Got bored of the Conduit really quickly but some people like it -
And what does this teach us?
Everyone has there own taste in games.Skyward Sword, Brawl and Xenoblade were the only WII games that i really liked.
But they were enough to warrant my WII purchase.
-Mario Galaxy/NSMB didn't do anything for me.I think i'm simply done with Mario Platformers, they're all starting to feel the same.
-Super Paper Mario got really boring after a while. Thousand Year Door was soooooo much better.
-Fire Emblem - It really felt like "more of the same" to me. The 3ds one seem to be shaping up nice. Might get it.
-Metroid Prime 3/Other M - Never liked Metroid
-Animal Crossing - Same
-Unlimited Cruise - Became boring really quick
-Kirby Return to Dreamland. WAAAAY to easyDonkey Country Return was good, and i really get why people like it. But i'm starting to realise i'm just not into platform games that much anymore.
I'd rather wish those games had some slight adventure or rpg element. Like what Ratchet and Clank did with upgradable weapons and secret gadgets. -

That's a complaint of mine as well. I rented New Super Mario Bros. Wii, and I barely ended up playing it during that time at all. There just wasn't anything new to it to make it worth playing through, I suppose.
So you can imagine my enthusiasm when the first footage of anything we saw on the Wii U was a New Super Mario Bros. game.
Like you I'm just not that big on side-scrolling platformers anymore. There are only two I'd ever consider among my favorite games - Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and Kirby 64. Beyond that they all feel like the same to me.
-

But yeah, everyone has their own taste. I liked Galaxy but it was way too easy. Super Paper Mario was fun but like you said, TYD was so much better. Never played FE.
..You don't like Metroid? NOW that's blasphemy. (I kid I kid, but Metroid is probably one of my favorite gaming franchises).
Anyway, the Wii was fun for a short ride, but I ended up selling it in 2010. And you know what? Even with SS out, I don't really regret it.
Besides, I've heard a lot more bad things about SS than good things. People calling it the worst console Zelda, criticizing its dated archaic formula and whatnot, stating that the game really didn't change the series at all, etc. Not saying that I agree with them because I've never played it, obviously, but it makes me feel somewhat less bad for not having played it lol -

Jep, it's not.
proceeds to hide behind the couch..You don't like Metroid? NOW that's blasphemy. (I kid I kid, but Metroid is probably one of my favorite gaming franchises).
I just never liked the setting :P . Kind of the same reason i'll probably never play Mass Effect.
Nothing but Love for the Metroid style Castlevania games though. -
Ah, not a fan of sci-fi space settings in games, then. I for one love that. Metroid, F-zero, Star fox, Halo (except Reach which I got bored of quickly), etc.
The dark, alien-infested, atmospheric settings for most Metroid games is what makes me love them so much. Especially Metroid Prime 1. MP2 not so much because I just think they overdid it with the whole dark theme. There was a nicer balance to that in the first one. MP3 didn't really have such a mood or atmosphere of the sort but I still liked it -
-Super Paper Mario got really boring after a while. Thousand Year Door was soooooo much better.
If you didn't like Super Paper Mario it might have something to do with the fact that it was a platformer unlike the other Paper Mario games.
-

Just look at the 93% on Metacritic. Just look at the thread on this board. Hell, even /v/ liked it, and /v/ hates everything. As far as "stagnant old formula", bullshit, it changed it significantly. There's no open overworld, and the non-dungeon areas are more involved and take some puzzling to figure out how to get around. So in a sense, there are three open-world dungeons that you learn to breeze through after multiple passes, and each one has two regular dungeons inside them. It isn't a gigantic change, but it's enough of a change that the pace feels different than previous Zeldas. But overall, it's still got the zelda tropes and gameplay, because it's a goddamn Zelda and you should expect that.
Not saying you ought to buy a wii for it, but you really shouldn't dismiss it like that. If you ever get the chance, say in a few years you find yourself with a WiiU and see SS in some used-games store, make sure to pick that sucker up.
If you didn't like Super Paper Mario it might have something to do with the fact that it was a platformer unlike the other Paper Mario games.
Yeah, a lot of the "negative feelings" people had with the game was because they expected and wanted another Paper Mario RPG. But, the game never even pretended to be that sort of a game. I personally really liked the villains and the multiple characters you could play as, and the flipping mechanic was a little gimmicky but still cool.
That said, I'm really glad there's another true Paper Mario RPG coming for the 3DS, because those things are the best.
-

More a sidescrolling adventure. Normally i'd love that.
Like i said, i love the (metroidvania) castlevania games. Shantae, Monsterworld (Genesis) and Eternal Daughter (PC) we're also awesome side scrolling adventures.
But for some reason Super Paper Mario wasn't able to keep me hooked. But i really did like the humor.
-
I enjoyed Brawl, and I still do to this day with my roommates whenever we get free time. We still haven't unlocked everything, but that's also probably because we're lazy =P
I still find the competitive Brawl players pretty funny, the game wasn't meant to be taken all that seriously. Slipping was added on purpose! I'm more annoyed with the Melee purists, and I still know a few people who consider the original Smash to be the best in terms of competition, while that one has some balance issues if I recall correctly. Wasn't The Falcon Punch overpowered?Twilight Princess which I consider a GCN game, is actually the best console Zelda to have come out since 2000, if you ask me.
So that leaves us with Wind Waker and Twilight Princess, minus Skyward Sword, but I already know what you think of it.
I had enjoyed playing through all of the past 3D Zelda's without any explainable complaints on the first runthrough.
So you mean to say Twilight Princess is better than Wind Waker? I thought Wind Waker was leagues better, IMO.
I don't know, maybe 'short' wasn't the right word, but it seemed short to me. I think it was just because the game felt so small.
I agree it felt shorter, and I think it's because the story was shorter than previous Zelda installments. The sidequests, however, are what added to the longevity of the game for me.
And the items felt rather limited as well, especially with how the ammo was set up. I don't know if that was because the system was at it's limit, or it was to add to the overall challenge of the game. But even so, sadly no matter how good that game might be it can not possibly make up for the rest of the games on the system.
You can't possibly think 1 game can make up for the rest of the games on a system, especially considering how much shovelware there is on the Wii.
I really had high hopes for the Wii. I really did. It's just too bad that a majority of it's games are rip offs and weird 3rd party games that try (and fail) to take advantage of the motion controls.
Besides, I've heard a lot more bad things about SS than good things. People calling it the worst console Zelda, criticizing its dated archaic formula and whatnot, stating that the game really didn't change the series at all, etc. Not saying that I agree with them because I've never played it, obviously, but it makes me feel somewhat less bad for not having played it lol
People complained about that? That's pretty lolz-worthy. It was by no means the worst Zelda game at all, although I can see where some of them might be trying to say. And why are they complaining about the formula NOW when it's been tried and true so far?

I don't know where you heard all this shit talk about SS, because as far as I can tell, everyone liked it.
No offense but that's not really saying much considering some of you guys worship Nintendo (not saying you do) but I get the 93% on MC. I don't know. I would emulate it if I could but I have no wiimote and I really don't wanna buy another Wii. If anything, I'll wait till the Wii U comes out and then maybe buy SS.

Skyward Sword is the worst Zelda I've ever played. Without a doubt. But I'll admit to not playing any of the DS games which I've been told are rather bad. Although I want to make myself abundantly clear when I say it's the worst Zelda I've played it's not a bad game per se. In fact the game is a lot of fun. I hate the game's overall condescending tone, the dog invisible collar type of linearity, and Fi. But it still has a great visual aesthetic that ensures the game doesn't age (though perhaps not quite to the extent of the fantastic Wind Waker), great music as per Zelda tradition, and I really didn't mind the more cinematic take on the story (even if the dialogue was WAY too wordy and beat around the bush way too damn much).
Otherwise I've enjoyed a good amount of the first or second party titles that have come out on the Wii that isn't Skyward Sword, Sin and Punishment 2, or Other M. The Mario Galaxy games in particular were incredible in my opinion. Donkey Kong Country Returns was also really dang good. Aside from a single level near the end the game was hard but never unreasonable, which is precisely how I like my platformers.

Strictly rumor for now but WiiU seems to be a 11/2012 release date according to a Article on Yahoo

phantom hourglass is the worst official zelda game. Spirit tracks is much better but still not as good as the others (except four swords. I preferred spirit tracks)
For me in worse to best it has to be:
Phantom Hourglass
Four Swords/Fours Swords Adventure
Spirit Tracks
Oracle games
Legend of Zelda
Awakening
Zelda II
Minish Cap
Wind Waker
Skyward Sword
Twilight Princess
Link to the Past
Ocarina of Time
Majora's Mask -
So, apparently there's some rumor about this company called ViviTouch or something, that makes haptic touchscreen technology. And they're gonna be at E3, and somehow they are connected with Nintendo. Thus making people believe the WiiU will have that Haptic capacity that was rumored about nearly a year ago.
P](http://mynintendonews.com/2012/04/06/is-haptic-screen-touch-technology-nintendos-secret-weapon-for-wii-u-e3-booth-suggests-so/)ersonally, I don't buy it. That would make the tablet even more expensive, and jack up the price even further. It's also an example of the completely superfluous thing that casual gamers love, but core gamers despise. And since Nintendo has said they want that core audience, them investing in such a thing doesn't make much sense.
But mainly, I wouldn't want it, really. It would be cool, but… when I'm playing mario, I don't need or want to be able to feel the texture of the bricks before I smash them. I also have no idea what the capacity of these things are, either. Can they create the illusion of heat? How detailed a texture can they replicate? Will the tablet be multi-touch? I kinda feel like people going "this way we could run our fingers through the waters of Lake Hylia and feel the heat from a Dodongo's fire" are greatly overestimating the technology.

Actually, I am keeping an eye on haptic technology and the WiiU for one reason. Virtual conrollers. If the screen on the WiiU's controller could simulate the positions of buttons on a controller, it could really become interesting. Games could have a a sort of 'secondary controller' on the touch screen more suited for that particular game, not to mention the possibilities of simulating controllers from older consoles if the WiiU would have a virtual console like that.

If only the rumor of dynamyc textures on that tablet was true.
Control on touch screens work because you have visual feedback, controls on your hands work because you have tactile feedback, trying to work a touch screen controller with a tablet and a tv would require very simple commands.

Interesting read. Nintendo's not too happy about the so-called analysts and dev employees spreading false rumors. The rumors have scared away potential investors.

It's amazing how brainless people can be.
There are a few anonymous rumors about the Wii U not matching PS360 in terms of power.
Then you have actual developers showing Aliens, Darksiders, and Ghost Recon? With the developer saying the Dark Siders Wii U version will be the definitive version. Man people are dumb, that was just some April Fools hooplah.
I understand barely anyone on these forums realizes how big the Unreal Engine 4 running on Wii U hardware is. But in terms of future proofing for the other next gen systems that is HUGE! I've got my own sources who went to GDC and confirmed it. There are absolutely no worries for me as far as hardware is concerned.

Ditto with me. Just wait till E3 this year; The gauntlet is gonna be thrown, just as Nintendo always does.

Ehh.. 2011 was weak.. 2009 sucked too.. They're not gods, you know.

I never said Nintendo is perfect. Heck, no one in the gaming industry is perfect, but I'm expecting some good stuff this year.

Zelda and Xenoblade on the Wii (easily two of the best games ever made), Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7, remakes of Ocarina and Star Fox
Nintendo had a pretty decent year as far as I'm concerned.
-
I meant their E3 presentations.
Skyward Sword one of the best games ever made? Umm ok, Local. Think you're kind of pushing it there. I guess to each their own but personally I don't feel that any game this gen deserves that status save for Galaxy MAYBE.
Unless your idea of the best games ever made consists of a long list then by all means lolDecent year but I really hope Nintendo surprises us with the Wii U in terms of first party titles. What I mean is slow down on the Mario and Zelda milkage for a while and focus on new IPs and bringing back classic IPs, if the console is meant to draw in the hardcores again. There's nothing wrong with milking something if it's still good obviously but I'd like to see more of F-Zero, Star Fox, Metroid, Pikmin (though that's confirmed so that's good), and less of Mario and Zelda.
