i wonder if it's dubbed or subbed. I suspect subbed

Bravely Default: Flying Fairy heading to the 3ds.
Could be interesting.
-
It'll be subbed. Funi don't have the lisence to dub here (for some reason) so unless a new company has taken it up for the UK alone…
-
thats what i thouht but if one piece becomes popular enough over here do you think funi would spring to get the rights in the uk much like with dragonball z
-

No, but a UK-based company like Manga UK or Kaze could
-
I suspect it'll never happen. DB was the hottest cartoon going in the uk for a couple of years but there were never dvds released, save for the terrible movies. Given that OP has nowhere near the exposure or popularity here that DB did, it seems rather unlikely.
-
I reveived today via SpotPass a new puzzle part. Is Nintendo starting to sending those now via SpotPass as well?
It's Kid Ikarus: Uprising btw -
i got that like last friday. I wasn't sure if people could get that one before or not. I was bummed it wasn't a purple piece though. I only need 1 and my ocarina of time puzzle is complete

Supposedly an image from a convention flyer showed that Manga UK is in the works to bring "DBZ", but that was months ago so I don't know what's going on with that. Toei Animation properties just have a low chance of coming out in the U.K. due to Toei Animation Europe's high licensing prices.

I still not got one :/
-
How many are there? So far i've done all the originals and DKCR. I need to finish ocarina of time, Mario 3d Land, Mario KArt 7, Starfox, Rhythm Paradise and Kid icarus. Am i missing any?
-
Animal Crossing one? I got a Donkey Kong Country Returns too
-
I've done all the originals, and Ocarina. I'm nearly done with DKCR and SML3D.
Overall, that's 205/345 pieces, with 16 pink pieces left. Of course, 40 of those pieces and 8 of those pink ones are from the new Kid Icarus…
I'm glad that enough people have 3DS's now to make collecting puzzle pieces possible, and I'm actually having a lot of fun with this stupid little thing.
edit: @cyberRobin - what? animal crossing? WHERE
-
I thought somebody mentioned Animal Crossing and an Elite Beat Agents one here from a while back. BUt maybe I'm thinking of something else.
And just got the Kid Icarus one. Did a quick coin and then got the Kirby one completed. Huzzah!
-
I have no chance of finishing the puzzles, this town is too small and I have the impression that I am the only one who owns a 3DS … well, to be honest I've met yesterday someone via StreetPass but he hadn't any part I needed ... bummer.
-
You should just buy pieces by using two coins (I think you collect them by walking around or something) and hope that you strike luck.
So far I've finished: Other M, Mario and Bowser, Super mario Galaxy 2, The Legend of Zelda, Kirby
And I still need to finish: Pikmin, NSMBW, OoT, Star Fox, SM3D, MK7, Rythem Heaven, DKCR, Pilotwings resort, and KI:UI'm hoping for a cool Fire Emblem one or even a Xenoblade one.
Heck even a Skyward Sword one would be nice. I mean we did get a Mario Galaxy panal, so why not? -
Yeah I am buying parts via coins and I already finished the old puzzles but I mean I am not able to finish the new puzzles since you can't buy the pink parts (I guess there are 8 pieces per puzzle). And since I've read that here are different new puzzles available I won't get more new puzzles as well. I just have Mario Kart 7 and since some days Kid Ikarus: Uprising.
I wish you could collect and trade puzzle parts via SpotPass and your friends in the friends list.
-
Yeah I think you gotta trade to get the first piece and then trade for the Pink ones. I got lucky and got the last DKC Pink one recently so that's nearly done
-

same..I travel with my 3Ds and only got 1 Spotpass person in the last 5 months
-
it is random. Luckily i can pick them up around my college and i find usually in one lesson people seem to walk past with it all the time. Problem is only 1 guy seems to have a lot of pieces. So there's a pilotwings one then. I imagine they may just realese new ones like the icarus ones when there major games start getting near release. So when animal crossing or fire emblem is nearly released we'll get a new one
-
I get a surprising amount of streetpasses at my college. I'd say at worst, I get at least one every M/W/F, but getting one on off days has happened before. Plus each time I hang out with my friend he brings his 3DS so we can streetpass.
I'm done with all of the original puzzles save for Pikmin which is nearly done. I'm also finished with Legend of Zelda: OoT 3D and the Star Fox 64 3D puzzles. Puzzle Swap really is a lot of fun.
-
We might have a price of the Wii U and I want to say this is a pretty good price if it's true.
-
An excellent price. I was hoping it would be $399 or up because that'd throw some customers off.
-
Day 1 purchase, if this is the real thing.

A new scan of Fire Emblem shows the choices in class change are back. This game seems to take a lot from sacred stones. Here's hoping it's longer.

That was quite honestly my favourite thing about Sacred Stones, and why its one of my favourite FE games.
Therefore, Im so happy to see it make a comeback. I
m hoping they still have the support system which the last release was missing and I hope its as good as Sacred Stones and PoR and not like Radiant Dawn where it didn't go in-depth into the characters.
I seriously hope this game makes here! -
Got my system repaired and seems now my wiimote wont work
how do you resync a wiimote to a system?

If you look where the batteries go on the Wii Remote there is a little red button. On the Wii there is a button next to the SD card slot. Press both simultaniously. I think.

The original Punch-Out!! got released on the eShop today, and I snatched that mofo up in a heartbeat. I've never played it before, it being one of the few classic titles which were NOT among the gigantic NES library at my grandparents' house in my younger years, so I was really excited when it was announced just last week or so.
I suck at it.

Well if anyone remembers that the "King of Pirates" game that Inafune announced awhile ago, he says this:

Oh hell yes. Can't wait for this to come out here.
(Though it reminds me still no word of Slime Mori Mori 3)

I seriously hope this game makes here!It has been announced for other regions but it's just 2012 atm. I love the support system in every fire emblem game, in sacred stones i have them all, so i was really bummed out when radiant dawn didn't have it. I wonder if you can get support for your custom character. Probably not

Epic has UE4 running on Wii U. Source, just me.
I was told Nintendo tweaked the Wii U to make sure it can run UE4, which would explain the recent bump in specs… and apparently Nintendo is still tweaking the hardware.
I sent this exact message to one friend, so it should be on a few message boards by now.

Donkey Kong 3D?
I hope there is one but should it be country or like 64 cause either would be fineholy fucking shit please let this be real, please let this be a DKC64 sequel. Please let Retro be making it. No wait, Retro should be making something badass for the WiiU's launch. I don't know who else to trust to make good DK games. I guess Nintendo's EAD Tokyo Development Group, they made Jungle Beat, both Mario Galaxies, and SM3DL. Actually, I would be more than happy to see them making another DK game.
but if this was a 3D remake of DKC64, then I am also super-excited.
but sadly, this is most likely a mistake or something lame like that, and I will end up super-disappointed. :(

Do you guys know what this means!? This is amazing news for Nintendo! Who for every single generation was left out of the Unreal Engine circle! But more importantly Nintendo is future proofing the Wii U! I have no doubt the PS4 and 720 will be more powerful, but with this engine running, 90% of next gen games will be able to run on Wii U. The fear that Wii U will only be on par with 360 and PS3 is completely gone and not compare at all to their successors is gone! Nintendo is actually making beefy hardware again!
http://mynintendonews.com/2012/03/11/epic-says-samaritan-looks-like-crap-compared-to-unreal-engine-4/ This year’s Samaritan demo, however, was highly optimized and according to Epic’s Mark Rein, it could be running on a laptop next year or a smartphone the year after. This is where Rein pointed out that the UE4 demo will make the Samaritan look feeble by comparison and will generally be crap next to what they show off for the next generation engine, saying “Imagine if that were a piece of crap, what would the next thing look like?”
-
We've known for months that it's going to be much more powerful then the 360. The early mixed messages were because some third party devs had outdated devkits.
-
I still think no one really understands how great this is for Nintendo! All we've had is just rumor and such, and it would be so like Nintendo to just make hardware that is good enough for games now. Not having access to the Unreal Engines since they started so long ago has affected Nintendo quite a bit with 3rd parties. And to finally know that the UE4 that is only for "next gen" consoles will undoubtedly be utilized on Wii U has me extremely relieved. It means Nintendo is really listening to the demands of 3rd parties and are catering to them. It means that power wise Nintendo won't be far behind. But for the first time ever Nintendo can get those multiplatform games that all look like Gears of War.
The Unreal Engine is the hottest engine in video games, check message boards everywhere, the biggest concern with Nintendo is, can Wii U run the UE4? When it is formally announced it is going to be huge Nintendo news!
-
But for the first time ever Nintendo can get those multiplatform games that all look like Gears of War.
The WiiU will be able to process and display thousands of different shades of gray and brown just like its powerful competitors? Yes! This is truly a great step forward for Nintendo. [/sarcasm]
But to be more serious, I hope the powerful system won't cause Nintendo to backslide when it comes to being creative with the look and feel of its games. I don't want the visual hooks of these games to devolve to nothing but, "look how many individual hairs you can see on Donkey Kong!"
Skyward Sword was a shining example of how a game can look downright amazing despite being on "inferior" hardware, and I hope Nintendo retains that level of ingenuity even after they've got a more powerful system to work with.

You know for Nintendo themselves I doubt they would use the UE unless it was for something totally brand new, maybe Retro would. But I understand your point and I think for Nintendo it is a non-issue. What I love about Nintendo's franchises is that when you look at them you can tell the difference. Despite this being a huge deal I was poking fun at how so many games this gen look so incredibly similar. But it is important that Nintendo's hardware is seen as being relevant with making these games, other wise 3rd party support wouldn't be ideal. Not that it will be for sure, but this is major step up from previous gens.
Also it just means Nintendo's own games are going to look even more phenomenal than they do now on such dated hardware!
