Really looking forward to Fire Emblem, I never played that one. Good games, good games.

Question!
Those will be Ambasador Exclusives? or Eventualy the lesser mortals will be able to get them?
I've played all of those, but personaly, I'd buy in order of "Fuck yeah!!!" to "Cool game, I'll give it a try"Metroid Fusion - Excelent Adition to the franchise
Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi's Island - Very fun, one of the clasics
Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap - I should have finished this one in english, Don't remember half of the plot (as I didn't understand it), could have used better bosses, but overal nice
Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones - My favorite Fire Emblem, probably because is the most forgiving, the only one of the modern ones that let you grind
Mario vs. Donkey Kong - Didn't give that much attention, I don't think that I finished it, I reggret that
Kirby & The Amazing Mirror - Should be Higher but is going against heavy hitters, standar kirby, easy fun
F-Zero: Maximum Velocity - Should been higher but as I don't remember if this was the one with story mode or the other one, that implies forgetability, that implies not as fun as others
Mario Kart: Super Circuit - Mario Kart is a multiplayer..
Wario Land 4 - Wario Land 3 was better
WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgames - Not my cup of tea, fun for a while, gets old pretty fast. -
Maximum Velocity was the GBA launch one. IIRC it was just set up like Mario Kart is on a track.
There was another one a few years later I believe with some title like 'Legend of Captain Falcon'
Personally I think I'm kinda more excited about the ones that weren't announced since we SHOULD get them at some point too (Link to the Past. Mario Advance 2 + 4, Fire Emblem 7, Advance Wars. I have a GBA SP somewhere but it'll be nice to play these again too on a handheld.)
-
Is minish cap another multiplayer type game? I like zeldas as single player games.
Woot a fire emblem game.
This is same as the 10 other games right. like 5 of them sooner or later become available to public, BUT 5 of them remaind ambasador ONLY "forever"
"forever" being until probably wii u console release and its virtual console comes out or something. Or at worse the next handheld. I'm sure they will be sooner or later, but don't expect them for like 5 years at best i would say.
-
Minish Cap is a 1 player game. I think it's only the Four Swords ones which isn't.
-
Very nice. Glad to see Minish Cap is on the list after all, as now I won't have to expend considerable time, effort, and of course money tracking down a physical copy.
Fire Emblem is a series I've heard lots of good things about but never got around to actually trying. No better time or opportunity than this, I suppose.
Maybe I'll suck at Metroid Fusion less than I do at the original Metroid I've already got via the Ambassador program.
-
Not a bad game on this list although i was expecting mario power tennis and now that it's not there i'm a little dissapointed. I'd rather have had something else instead of wario land 4 because i have that and i'm to lazy to play it again. Glad were getting fire emblem and minish cap though
-
i don't expect nintendo to release all their big games in the first quater. We'll definatley get them this year but i expect animal crossing around e3 time and paper mario in september
-
So those of us with a price-dropped 3DS won't be able to get these for free, right? (that was the deal, right?) Well, thank goodness I already own most of these games or I'd be a little miffed.
Anyway, I can't recommend Fire Emblem enough. As far as Sacred Stones it's a pretty good starting game to the franchise, and I would know since it's the first one I played. The thing is, it's actually a lot easier and lenient than the other games, so don't expect the same if you decide to play more. Also be aware that Fire Emblem games are very very long.
-
I'm happy with Wario Land 4. I never really got the chance to play it the first time around so~
Only ones I don't care about on this is F-Zero, Warioware and Mario Kart (the latter cus I'd rather just see the tracks made on 7 as free DLC)
And yeah. Fire Emblem Stones is great. Not quite as good as the prior one tho (kinda expected that one lol) but still fun. It's a long game. Fun to grind too and getting all of the supports is great fun aswell.

You COULD get them with a price cut 3DS. I think some places sold them a week before the due date or something.
Like the price cut was sept 15 or something and so was teh due date for registering to become a ambassador. But some places sold the 3ds at that price starting sept 7th or something.
don't quote me on dates, just making them up. But its something like that.
-
interesting lineup for the gba games
-
Well it took 'em long enough.
I anxiously await these to hit stateside.
-
Superb list. Looks like it's the 16th for europe too.
-
Since I've never had a GBA I'm fine with that list!
Zelda, Metroid, Fire Emblem… awesome.
(it troubles me though that I'm using my 3DS mostly for playing VC games ... nevermind :D) -
Can't wait for Kirby's Block Ball. I loved that game.
-
Ah I can't wait to get the ones I will play.

your thoughts?I'm always game for another Zelda game no matter who puts it together.
-
Pretty good list. Sacred Stones is the worst of the 3 GBA FE games, but still a good list. If you own a 3DS and haven't played Yoshi's Island, Fusion, or Minish Cap yet, you fuckin' better now.
-
I was under the impression Sacred Stones was pretty good. At least I thought so, but I'm not really a big FE gal.
-
Great list. I'll finally be able to play through Wario Land 4, since I had previously only played it from my cousin. This will also be my first FE, though I dunno how much I'll play it. I'm not the biggest strategy fan.
Minish Cap is probably my favorite GBA game, so nice it there. (Crazy how this is already the 5th Zelda on the 3DS) Fusion and Yoshi's Island are great games, too. And I've been wanting to play the original Mario vs. Donkey Kong.
-
Oh Sacred Stones. How utterly amazed I was when I breezed through you after getting almost everyone killed on my first Radiant Dawn playthrough.
-
And now we in America just have to hope and pray we get them here too…
-

Nintendo has plenty of big games to release outside of Kid Icarus, Animal Crossing, and Paper Mario.
Having one of the last two showing up in the first quarter wouldn't have been bad.

your thoughts?Hmm well I loved Metroid Prime and that was retro right. Just have to wait and see I guess. I hope they don't go Skyrims route in having it be a first person view though
Wonder if this will leave the Zelda team to work on a NEW ICARUS game. Would love to see Icarus get a skyward sword or full 3d adventure game like zelda. I mean they worked on flying some in this game, they could use that in the icarus game.
-
It's not a bad list. At least the games are quality. I'm a little disappointed though. I would have much preferred Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga over a good number of games on there.
I guess I'll just have to be happy it wasn't spammed with Super Mario Advance games and that I'll finally be getting Mario Kart: Super Circuit back.
-
I was under the impression Sacred Stones was pretty good. At least I thought so, but I'm not really a big FE gal.
It's not bad. Just not as good as Blazing Sword ("Fire Emblem" in the US) or Sword of Seals (the sixth FE game, starring Roy).

Slow down mate the newest one hasn't come out yet
-
sacred stones was good it was just to short. However it had joshua in it. Joshua is definitely one of my favourite fire emblem characters
-
New Pokemon game is being announced in next months corocoro
-
Seems club nintendo is offering 3DS Xevious, Wii VC Super mario Kart and more for 100 coins each
in fact the whole sites been revamped with a new layout

I keep trying to get the New LoZ posters, but the site keeps logging me out
-
Pretty good list. Sacred Stones is the worst of the 3 GBA FE games, but still a good list. If you own a 3DS and haven't played Yoshi's Island, Fusion, or Minish Cap yet, you fuckin' better now.
I thought only there were 2 FE gba games? Unless there was a 3rd released in a different region.
I loved Sacred Stones, although it's one of the easiest ones since you could grind in the Tower of Valni (sp?) and that other place, can't remember the name…
I'm excited for the other games I haven't played (Yoshi's Island and Mario vs. Donkey Kong), and I love the other games on that list. I hope it's not too long until an American release.
-
Whoa, now those are some awesome posters… orders
-
Damn you Europeans and you Japaneses… You get the games now but we're gonna have to wait in America... grr...
What with this and those big 3 games not coming out, we don't get Unlimited Cruise either... why does Nintendo suddenly hate America?
-
@Mr.:

The first GBA Fire Emblem that featured Roy never made it out of Japan.

We are getting Xenoblade though… in April

Seems the games have already become available all of a sudden… in Australia.

@Cyan:
Oh Sacred Stones. How utterly amazed I was when I breezed through you after getting almost everyone killed on my first Radiant Dawn playthrough.
Also, the "rookies" you would come across were the strongest characters in probably all of Fire Emblem if you trained them to the maximum level, which was awesome
-
Got an update today for Eurosport. And here I was hoping it was notification for the GBA games. Oh well
-
Also, the "rookies" you would come across were the strongest characters in probably all of Fire Emblem if you trained them to the maximum level, which was awesome
I remember them alright. I had Ross as a Hero, Ameilia as a General, and Ewan as a Sage. I still feel somewhat guilty that I never got all the support conversations of Ross and his dad =(
-
Slow down mate the newest one hasn't come out yet
The 3DS game hasn't come out yet, but why can't the Zelda team, who is done now work on a Icarus game for the Wii or in this case I guess Wii U.
Or what is the Zelda team doing right now, if rumors of Retro doing zelda are true?
-
Grr… Everyone is getting these Ambassador games but America... this is stupid... I WANTS ME SOME YOSHI'S ISLAND NINTENDO!
Don't think you can win me over with your flashy awesoe Zelda 25th Artbook and your Skyward Sword being the best Zelda game I've ever played... I paid $250 for your 3DS, I wants me some GBA games!!
-
ahh sweet, my JP 3DS can grab the GBA games now!
edit: oh THANK JEGUS, the firmware update made it so you can choose to return directly to the previous screen after finishing downloading… no more scrolling through endless menus
-
So Japan and Australia already have the games available for download, but we here in the States haven't gotten so much as a peep about them. No SpotPass announcement or anything. I'm a very patient man, but even I'm getting frustrated.
Also, weren't there supposed to be updates to the NES games around the same time? If I recall, they were supposed to get full VC features like save states and such, like the GB and GBC games on the eShop have.
-
UK has them too. Just woke up and they're up.
-
Hopefully us in NA will be surprised in the morning…
I will definitely be crossing my fingers before I go to bed. -
Had a quick go on most of them. Metroid Fusion feels so much better using the circle stick. Especially for aiming. Mario vs Donkey Kong feels kinda slow. Dunno if that's normal tho.
-
GBA games HOOOOOO~ Thanks to the firmware update, I was able to set up like 6 of them to download all at once. Now I don't know which one to play first.
Home screen is getting quite crowded, too. Some rearranging might be in order.
