hi all, this weekend took place the 37 convention of games and comics in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon. Went yesterday and today, I saw some interesting things from One Piece. this is what I purchased:
I got two WCFs from toyslogic from set 6 and they both had stickers, and so did my monster chopper.

WCF set 6, NOT SW. I actually preordered the impel down set with them, since everything was kosher with the 2 WCFs I got with part 6. Here's hoping it turns out OK. They seem to get the figures on time enough. Plus it's a bit cheaper than buying it from Japan because of the exchange rate and shipping.
I also got a monster chopper from them and it was amazing, with sticker and the box was perfect. Same with the WCFs. All with stickers.

that what im saying. anythinig they had WCF before the latest volumes (halloween, 6,7) have NO sticker.. according to them. they usually tell the customers that they will get the stickers later on a TBA shipment date

Maybe you can try figuarts zero, although I don't really like the overall look of it much… they're releasing luffy, chopper and robin so far (prototypes shown) and I don't think the others are too far away...
Or you can try GLM, which would also be my choice if I were you (besides WCF, which I don't collect) This line already has tons of luffys in different outfits, and they are releasing sanji soon. You'll be able to get vivi and nami arabasta edition too, if you consider vivi as part of the crew of course...
I think I saw an ebay seller by the nickname of Angela-"something" who is selling her entire POP SW collection, around 1300SGD or something, you may want to go check that out... but POPs are expensive to collect so be warned...

If you just want the Straw Hats GLM isn't a great choice, there's only Luffy (already released, multiple versions) and Sanji (not out yet).
But, there are two Luffy GLM's still in stock at HLJ.

Other than that his legs are too fat, face too wide and afro too controlled. It needs to be more wild, rawr! xD
Everything about that iva is just wrong. Not just the shape of his body.
Its like unfinished sculpt, and the color is just not GLM level.

_So agree. I actually rather like the character but he's more like orange along with the other things wrong with him. I wonder why anyone wouldn't notice something that obvious and change it before it goes to exhibition like that.

I had this idea of getting Kuma Shichibukai Dx and the wcf to go along to create this scene. I don't currently own any of the shichibukai but I think the scale might work since the WCFs are pretty small in scale: (I think the hardest thing for me is getting the wcf)

So happy!!! I just ordered my Kurasaki Ichigo Playarts Kai from Square Enix. I was so excited to find out he has his hollow mask too. He's also cheaper than what HS has him for at $72 when I can get him straight from SQ-Enix for $42. That's a first!

Not expensive at all.. Their shipping price is better than most sites overall so it evens out. Plus, we can rely on Otacute more than most sites to get our orders fulfilled.

Yeah, the paintjob on the Shichibukai DX figures is definitely not the best and it's more inaccurate than on GLM figures (Kidd and Law I got today are perfect).
And I have serious doubts about Banpresto releasing the Shichibukai in the GLM line (as a matter of fact, Mihawk was released before the Shichibukai DX line started).
For what concerns the recently showed GLM figures, I'm very happy they're gonna make a new Shanks (amazing!) and Beckman, and I don't dislike Iva and Mr. 2 at all, but I'd have preferred more Zoro and Usopp… they are the characters I want the more actually, and it's a bit weird they're waiting this much for making them (they would sell more than Beckman or Iva, this is sure).
Paint job on IVA is just not GLM. Its flat n its way too yellow. And Iva's proportion is just horrible to me. But yeah, the rest of GLM is great….oh well, except the first shanks. But I'm so happy they decide releasing more shanks...........and NO more luffy!!! YAY!! (tho I don't mind time skip luffy).
With DX shichibukai, i know they are not the greatest. But I'm so happy they release the complete set with short time periods. And once you put them together, they even become more awesome, and you don't really pay attention to the small flaws.
I think the reason why banpresto didn't choose the whole crew first, cos they wanna keep HIGH spec figure alive. IF GLM decide to release all the crew first, most ppl don't even wanna look HIGH SPEC. I think that's also the reason why GLM and HIGH spec choose different characters.
Well that Boa looked really short on quality for a character of that stature… I thought Kuma and Jinbei looked rather off from the prototype pictures as well, and the only ones I was honestly satisfied/happy with were Moria(h), Blackbeard and Mihawk
