Blackbeard's Hilt, you mean?
LOL
i thought it was Marshal D. Teah sword
so this is the REAL Blackbeard
(it´s looks heavy)
I was likely more impressive when it was more than a rusty letter-opener.
As first glance I though "what a coarse sword" as well. But this is not the whole sword. It's the hilt. The small grey part as the top is what's left of the blade.
Can't be sure, but that looks more like a dagger to me…
That's awesome…but shouldn't it be...like...WITH him? I mean, with his corpse?

It's kinda broken….
It's a lightsaber. Nice.
Interesting topic.
Interesting topic.
It's bursting with Zigee's latent underlying use of 'sword' as a metaphor for his dick. She's implying his penis is small and is therefore demasculinised and pushed off his metaphorical pedestal of power concerning his ultimate role in the series.
Deep stuff, bro.
Zigee's a guy .
This is awkward.
I like it .

I know that, I was basing that off the size of the hilt and the shape. Though I am no expert, but that is what it looked to me so…

Hmmm….you're right. It does look fat...like it would be short.
If you look closely at it you will notice the build up of minerals all over the hilt. It's covered with it.
That's definitely a sword handle and not that of a dagger. As Renegade said, there's a large buildup of minerals which makes it look chunkier. Just above the top of the mineral deposits you can see the original width.
The detail work at the top of the hilt is also more classic of a sword.
Personally I think it'd be awesome if it really is Blackbeard's sword. I grew up knowing him as the greatest of all the real pirates. Dude set his beard on fire to invoke fear into his enemies. Heck yeah!!
Ahh.. If this is Blackbeard's sword I would say this could be avid proof that…
Luffy will "GOMU GOMU STAMP GATLING", Blackbeard's ass to the bottom of the sea basin.. Just saying..
Strong possibility :P Very cool read!

He's gonna do it on Blackbeard's ship!! :O
That reminds me–we need more ship fights...

I hope soo! Ship fights? That sounds pretty cool, I'm new so I have no idea what that is. But I'm game! :]
That looks like it was a beautiful sword in its prime no matter who it belonged to! 0.0 Look at those details on the hilt~! Wish I could see this beauty up close .3.
That was maybe his sword after he gained fame and treasures, so that he took after a while this "better looking sword".
I think he used a normal sword most of the time like anyone else to the time he fighted to be recognized.
Typically pirates usually just used whatever swords they could get their hands on. They weren't too picky as long as they cut good
why would he have to use a sword when he can control black holes and earthquakes?
well, i would say that sword was a trophy sword. not the actual sword he used in combat
though he could have worn it for show.
