We also invite everyone and anyone to send us questions/comments and theories over the break concerning where One Piece is as of this chapter.

I also urge all you good One Piece fans to follow Kaiolino's lead as he reads all of One Piece in four weeks. It'll hopefully provide you guys a chance to catch up, if you haven't, or a chance just to refresh after this chapter.

Wow. This chapter was jam packed with good information.

Haki. All of the theories, questions and uses of it have been completely answered. The Color of Armaments and the Color of Observations, and of course is the Color of the Conquerer. Not only will Luffy have to train these to where he can use them and figure out which one he's best at, but also strengthen his own body as well.

As for Zoro, I must say I was very surprised to hear that he defeated all of the baboons; while still not being 100% healthy. His resolve to get stronger was also pretty nice. It struck Mihawk pretty well. Seeing him laugh so was also pretty interesting.

To be the pirate king, Luffy has to probably be on Yonkou level, perhaps even stronger. In other words, Strawhat pirates would have to be able to beat the Whitebeard pirates or Shanks's crew in a head-to-head fight.

2 years of training is actually very little, when you take this small fact into account.

the only problem i have with one piece AND the time skip in general is that in 2 years…won't OTHER pirates have gotten far along the grandline to have FOUND one piece???...I just don't understand...

PS: To those that find the Zoro-Mihawk thing out of character, remember that Luffy's will and ambition is the strongest, Zoro like us can see this, and wants to help him achieve the greatest of titles! I admire him for that.
Doesn't mean that Zoro won't become the strongest swordsman in the world.

Nice chapter. The end of "part 1" in One Piece was much nicer than in Naruto.

Not sure how I feel about Mihawk training Zoro. Doesn't really do their rivalry any justice… I can't take them as seriously as I would if things just ended like they did in Baratie and the next meeting being the final fight. But whatever, it's not a disaster.

2 years, it was pretty much expected. I'm looking forward to knowing about Robin's meeting with Dragon and Zoro's training with Mihawk the most.

Also, epic cover spread... 2 weeks in a row. The younger generation last time, the older generation this time.

The end was very well done... showing the Straw Hat as Luffy and Rayleigh set off for their training.

I never thought it will actually be two years…seems a bit long in my eyes.
But okay to learn sucha great technique like Haki even Luffy needs a lot of time..so it`s something special.
Not like the strongest technique is learned in a few days like in a few other mangas ^^
