Never really thought they'd bring back the show back for a new season, considering how season one ended. Anyway season two premires at 10:30 P.M. Eastern time tonight I wonder what will happen?
Venture Brothers

-
Well I'm sure it'll start out more of the same with Brock going sick-house on a few people.
-
Actually it didn't, it starts off with Brock going around the world searching for Dr.Venture.
-
Really? Well then I hope they don't tone Brock down atleast. I love it when he goes sick-house.
-
It was freakin' hilarious, had a mix of every character. Glad the show is back.
-
Overall it was a good episode with a lot of funny moments/quotes
Brock (after Dr.Venture tells him to put Hank & Deans's clones back in the oven) I hate touching them they feel like giant Stretch Armstrongs
And I was cracking up at The Monarch's Break-Out discussion.
-
Damn, I forgot about it until I saw this thread. Hopefully they'll reshow it and I won't forget.
-
Unless Adult Swim does an encore on Thursday night tonight is your only chance.
-
I just saw it and….I didn't see it coming.
! Who knew Dean and Hank died like 50 times. That gay gorilla was funny too. Looks like the Venture Bros lives on! Also the Monarch is back. Yay.
Great episode.= to start off Season 2.
-
With this revelation, it's easy many Kenny moments happening. So now they basically have both of their kidneys again. Who knows how many times Rusty harvested the boys for organs. What a whacked revelation. Cracked me up.

The clone thing was kind of obvious. In the testicular torsion episode Doc mentions that he could've fixed the testicle thing in the 'prototype phase.'
-
I missed the episode! Not fair! And it sounded like a great one too! Oh I am so mad now! grrr!

Well, what happened was…
! Morpheous was trying to bring them back to life, like he did with David Blaine and Ronald Regan (Until his check bounced.) Then he found some fleshy Hank and Dean-like figures wandering around the compound. He was afraid he had made them into Zombies. But Dr. Venture, (who was in three pieces because of a teleporter mishap.) finally told him that this was like the 14th time this had happened. He was just making a new set and putting in memories. They showed the fates of the previous 13. (I thought the Double William Tell was the funniest.)
! Oh, and the Monarch escaped and found Dr. Ventures third part of his body. His waist and lower were sticking out of a TV, his upper body was attached to a wall where the memories were implanted in the clones and his right torso was by the sewage runoff where the Monarch made his escape. But it should be on youtube soon.
-
First off, I'd like to say that this was a great way to start season 2. Many good moments in this one.
And yay! for the Monarch finally being back in action~! I've missed him, though technically he was never gone… OTP = King Gorrilla/Monarch heart

I caught that on that episode after watching it the second time, but didn't make the cloning connection. I was thinking more along the lines of "tube babies", lol. (But than that would've required a woman, right?)
I have high hopes for season 2. Go Team Venture! nerd
-
Yeah it was a great episode, and The Monarch's henchmen still are funnier then hell. I can't wait for how they handle the Monarch's storyline for this season, with his problem with the Guild, and stuff.
-
Yea I wanna see him get back at the Phantom Limb.
-
Just finished watching the 2nd episode of the new season on Adult Swim.com. I'll won't spoil what happened in the epsiode. All I will say The Monarch/Dr.Girlfriend plotline is getting more intersing. I'll be watching the Sunday night airing as well.
-
Bump for finishing up Season 2… Can I say it? This is the best American cartoon going right now. Hilariously funny, wickedly clever and never disappointing.

Seconded. I can't wait for the DVD in March.
-
Fact of the day, half of their opening budget for season 2, was spent to purchase the rights to that song played in the intro
well worth it

I have to agree with you. Unfortunately a lot of American cartoons are crap right now.
Sadly I missed a lot of the season. Are they going to rerun it? (or are they? I don't keep track of tv schedules very well).
-
I've only seen bits of Venture Brothers, but I know it has a huge fanbase (seen too much slashiness in Y-gallery~ >_<) Looked funny from what I saw though
-
This season really did not disappoint. I loved what I saw, particularly the Scooby-Doo parody and the "guest appearance" by David Bowie.
-
I enjoyed the Johnny Quest cameo this season. It's cool that he and the Ventue Bros. exist in the same universe (or so I think)
-
I just ran into this on youtube. It's a sneak preview video of Venture Bros. Season 3 that was shown at New York comic con.

Yes!
This is gonna rock so many balls! -
"The Nozzle…" That so going to be this season, "Ignore me!".
-
I can't wait for the season to start.
-
Hahaha, that looks great. I really need to pick up the first two season next time I'm at FYE.
-
Alright!
This is gonna be awesome.

Here you are. A clear, clean version of the VB 3 video from NYCC.
And he periodically updates the site with artwork and such. -
God, this is gonna kick ass. Loved the jets whacking the head around like a hackey sack.
-
Oh yes! I love the Venture Bros. and this season is gonna kick so much ass! I can't believe that's only from the first 3 and 1/2 episodes.
-
I've waited two long years for this. Best show on Adult Swim today!
THE FUCK!!! The creators did a screening at my school and I didn't know?! AHHHHHHHHH!!!
-
Yesss!
Brock's back. -
Brock was never gone.
-
Well after 2 long years Team Venture is back in saddle.
Plot:
While on their honeymoon the Monarch & Dr Girlfriend are kidnapped and questioned by the "Council of Thirteen", high-ranking officials of the Guild of Calamitous Intent I can't recall exactly what they were being questioned for
but it involves surveillance videos and first hand accounts of the Monarch's
and Dr. Girlfriend's relationship with the Phanton Limb along with Monarch's arch rivalry with Venture. It also involves a sub-plot involving the Monarch's surviving henchmen and Dr. Girlfriend's ass kicking midget henchmen rebuilding the Cocoon following the event's at the end Showdown At Cremation Creek.I won't spoil the ending for those that haven't seen the episode but let's just say the Monarch's back on the road to fucking Team Venture's shit up (again).
-
A new shirt every week not bad.
-
Tonights episode was just great, classic Venture episode in style. We got backstories that we have been waiting for awhile for now. And remember now never get on Phantom Limb's shit list.
-

I never got that impression. If I remember correctly, the Monarch was targeting Phantom Limb. What I was hoping for was discovering Dr. Girlfriends big secret. Maybe they'll reveal it next week.
-
WHOOO!!!
That episode was great! -
From what I read from the episode summary, next weeks episode goes back to the Venture clan. Have a return of a very popular character that was introduce last season.
-
I liked the final scene after the credits.
Also, we never found out Dr. girlfriend's secret did we?
-
I never got that impression. If I remember correctly, the Monarch was targeting Phantom Limb.
Now he is I guess to make sure that he doesn't wind up like Manotaur.
-
The whole point of the crucible was because the monarch was arching Dr.Venture without the guilds consent.
-
I missed it…,darn! Was it funny?
-
Too much to list from this episode, it was just so fucking hilarious. Definitely the best season opener in my opinion.
-
Excellent start to the season. Never thought the Monarch would have such a pathetic back story. But then again he is a pathetic villain. But he's also awesome. Ah, it's a conundrum.
I thought it would have been funny if 24 had a higher rank when he was serving under PL, like 12 or 14 or something. Then, rather than getting the number 2 positon promised by the Monarch, he would've gotten an even lower rank.
Best quote of the episode: "Leave none alive! God will know his own!" -The Monarch
Can't wait till next week. I'm sure it'll be even awesomer.
