Ya know , as far as I hate to use OP examples cause of the inevitable back lash , never even once showing the anima or explaining it given it's both the reason for Mistgun's constant wandering , the big ass pull to prety much finish this arc and the plot device that started the whole thing , is like when the SH's were seperated by Kuma's powers , except we would not see that it was him , would not know how he did it and would skip across any explanations when he would apear again .

No complaints, solid chapter, it was actually superior to most of the recent chapters by a mile.

So…I dont' actually know where the anime is right now, since I enjoy reading more so than watching, but it seems like the anime is getting a little bit better in terms of quality. Which arc are they on currently, and will they finish the Laxus arc in the anime?
I'm trying to plan a Fried cosplay, so if he's in any opening title sequence or has already showed up in the anime, I'd like to know the title/episode. Thanks in advance!
From the new opening there doing the luxus arc and fried is in the opening, also as of recently the anime is in the Tower of Paradise arc and Trinity Raven just showed up.

As for the chapter: That was a really good chapter I especially liked how the three DS's worked out as a RPG trio, having Natsu and Gazzille duke out the damage while Wendy gives them strength and speed power-ups.

The staff was the only good thing about the OS… Which is sad,. He barely lasted long.
And oh... Zero flat out sucks. I rather see 1000 Gerald clones than him ever again.
Heh, I was rereading the FT Discussion Part 1 thread a few weeks back on OS while I was reading the arc, and one of you guys made a really nice point on why the Zero character was flawed. Mashima could've made him a much nicer villain than he turned out to be and given him more of a reason for why he's doing everything he did, rather than him just being evil for the hell of it. So far, I feel all of the villains in FT have been pretty poor.
Oh well, at least we got Gerard.

This has always been my biggest issue with Fairy Tail. Like I said yesterday, Lyon is the only real exception to the villains rule. The rest have all been generic, shallow, and underdeveloped. Is Faust any better? I don't really know much about him, since I'm only up to the part in Oración Seis where Zero arrives at Cait Shelter.

! I seriously doubt that Erza Scarlet is going to kill off her counterpart. And there is no way they are killing her off now. So no one is getting erased I guess, unless erasing means beating the snot out of someone or something popos up out of nowhere and makes one of them disappear
Atleast it looks like they are going to show a bunch of serious battles now

I see what mashima is trying to do now, he's writing an anti drug comic, the "anima" is the meth that get's faust really high hence why he's going to extreme lengths in order to achieve it. Just like a meth addict

And no , none of them will die . Had this arc used up it's potential it could very well be the place where Hiro gets "serious"......but he didn't .

I kind of liked Pacifista-dude, and if Zero had actually tried completely destroying the heroes only to be stopped by someone, he'd have been a tiny bit better for having the destroy everything mentality and not failing with it as he did… I agree on Fukurou being cool. I would've liked the other two Trinity Raven if they'd been handled better. Rocker dude had potential that Mashima quickly ruined.

Yeah, the whole Trinity Raven had potential, Fukurou probably had the most, but the author blew it.
Cait Shelter retcon was a stupid move in a vain attempt to add emotion to Wendy joining Fairy Tail… If not for Wendy (and Gerard's inevitable reappearance in jail), I'd tell people they should skip OS. Oh, and magical internet guy was awesome. Perfume guy too, but he was forgotten for 70% of the arc... -
I dunno I realy hated the Blue Pegasus mages , cause they brought "bland powerless bishi trio that never beat anyone" into the story further destroying all the potential this "aliance" had .
And the other thing just gets me…...I mean there were so many other ways to make her join Fairy Tail without fucking all of reality , like how a non existant guild could atend a guild meeting , form an aliance , nominate someone to go there , and have illusions being afraid of death .

Yeah, I didn't like the Cait Sith thing either, just explaining the assumed thought behind it.
I didn't like the bishi trio aside from magic internet guy. He actually did shit (including allowing Lucy to beat Angel) and had a cool power. Perfume guy was an often forgotten (by the story, not the readers) positive aspect of Blue Pegasus. Plus they had the airship, though Mashima fucked that idea over almost as soon as he brought it up… -

I always figured that she used a form of anti-magic which ignored or bypassed magical defenses (seeing as all three were supposed to be mages but it never said what her magic was; I'm just going by the fact that she was somehow able to cut through dimensions and break armour, but couldn't do any noticeable damage to Erza), and without it, she was fast but weak (at least by comparison); seeing as Erza's outfit at the end had no magical properties, it wouldn't be affected, and Ikaruga was a worse swordsman than Erza without her magic.

They were from an assassin guild, right? Not very assassin-like though… Mashima had loads of potential showing us our first group of assassins, guys with pretty badass designs (rocket owl, rocker, and... token samurai chick... meh, the first 2 were badass), from a dark guild, that are assassins, but instead they all just waltz up and get owned... Like imagine if they were actually stealthy/tricky like assassins and Fukurou was the same as normal as a gag, being a "just" assassin that is straightforward... dammit, if I could draw, I'd wanna redo TOP now.

Was hot eye the one that was able to slow down time? That was actually a rare case of me reading a FT fight that I actually enjoyed. it's weird how that was much more entertaining than the later fights in that arc.

The only time where that is deadly is during mountain climbing .
And the guy you speak of is Racer , ya know , with the ugliest pointy nosed "Ima not gonna even try to make any effort in making this design" character .
Sad thing is Racer was prety much in Rave too , as an anoying spanish speaking bastard with maracas .

Pretty much, or both of them being exhausted and Happy letting go of Natsu who accidentally knocks out their Erza while Scarlet faints after she thanks Natsu, therefore not giving a clear winner.
It wouldn't really be a situation of Earth Natsu defeating his counterpart, because both Erza's are clearly in a different category, much like the two Gerard's who have completely different power sets, but undeniably ridiculously OP powers.

You should give it a try, the art and animation varies sometimes between episodes and the characters voices are good actually so it should be given a chance besides the soundtrack is AWESOME!
Just listen to the soundtrack, it might sway you more into watching the anime.
