Nothing much, just a tweet from a month or two ago with Mike saying he's recording Seitz as Franky. I don't remember what Terri's reply was but the fact that she was replying to it made me think she probably has something to do with OP now.

No, because in that situation, "Sass-Kay" is how the Japanese pronounce it as well.

I'd like to point out, too, that in the Japanese language track where Robin is talking about the three admirals, the Japanese VA also pronounces it A-kai-nu. Now, given that Japanese is not one of my known languages, would this seemingly incorrect pronunciation have anything to do with the fact that it is a name in this instance?

It could have everything to do with the fact that they say "Aka-inu" so fast that it sounds like "Ah-kay-nu."

Just like with Bon Clay and Hordy, that's what I hear, that's what I'll say.

I don't care either. I don't remember anyone losing their heads over Bon Kurei being Bon Clay…Plus "Ah-kainu" sounds so close to "A-kai-nu" that, as Zek said, you could honestly argue that they are saying it the right way. In the Japanese "Ah-oh-kiji" is always said so fast it always sounds like "Ow-kiji" instead. In sub and dub it sounds like three syllables instead of four. I think it really just depends on the listener.

Anyway I believe G1Ravage asked to hear Robin say the names for himself so here it is.

I don't see people complaining….I do see people engaging in an intellectual discussion regarding the nuances of language.

I'm not going to fuss over a slightly different English pronunciation. Of all the characters in One Piece we've had dubbed so far, the Admirals are really the only ones with hard-to-pronounce Japanese names. I'm sure they went over different ways to say them, and decided to go with what sounded better in English.

It seems FUNi uses "Navy" for most references to the top brass.

Hey Elan_Morin, are you saying you believe the Japanese pronounce names like Akainu differently than the dub? For me personally I would've believed it was three syllables if others weren't saying otherwise.

Season 4 started dubbing last Fall for a Summer release, and we're getting the exact same thing here. It's a giant chunk of episodes so it makes sense they'd start now. And to be fair it's not like we don't have new episodes coming out currently either.

There are two voyages left for S4, right? V4 in Feb-March and V5 in April-May. That puts S5V1 right in the range of June-July for the planned summer release. Hopefully it's not as far as August again, but at least that should still be within 3 months of S4 ending.

Catching up on old news, but if Season Five is episode #264-336 it looks like that will be six sets (five sets of twelve and one of thirteen). Enough material to take the Collection line of releases to thirteen releases.

Great trailer. That pretty much all that needed to be say. Pretty much Season 4 and Season 5 together are going to be 11 Voyages. Its leaves the last Season 5 dvd set to be a collection with the first season 6 set if we get Season 6.

Man that trailer got more and more dramatic as it went on, got me super hyped. It's gonna make the holiday's pretty sad though :/

That was an awesome trailer. Felt chills hearing some of the Luffy vs Ussop conflict in English.

One thing though, while I do like the music they've been using for the season 4 trailers, I think something a little more serious or "urgent" sounding would've fit this trailer more.

I loved the clips of the luffy vs usopp fight man thats going to be intense and sad at the same time. I guess we will be getting it towards the end of November and right now that can not come quick enough!
